We were probably one of the first few to buy a Corsair when it was introduced in 2020. We're going into our 2nd year of ownership and I can honestly say that this Corsair is outstanding. We have not had a single problem with this vehicle. It is fast, roomy (even the back seat leg room), and quiet. I just cannot say enough good things about this vehicle. My wife loves it...and she is pickeeeee.

I have a 2017 Lincoln MKZ Reserve model. I get 17-18 miles in the city ugh! and about 26-30 on the highway. My question is this- I want to know your MPG in the city and highway? Gas prices are so high these days! Ugh

Well I got my Corsair Standard. I got inside and felt lost. I'm coming from a 2013 Maxima. Great car! But the Corsair is a whole other level. This is my first luxury vehicle and I'm loving it. I'm so glad I saw your RU-vid site on the Corsair because I was getting frustrated trying to decide between the XT4, xt5, and XC40 Volvo. I'm satisfied!

I got my 2022 Corsair Grand Touring in January, 2022. Absolutely love this cross over. Fabulous build quality, incredibly silent vehicle, and the electric range of 30 miles is incredible. I mostly drive in all electric mode and get 125 eMPG mostly. I have only filled up the 11 gallon gas tank twice in 4 months now. It's getting me prepared for the EV future. I took one long 1000 mile trip to Ohio from Virginia and it drove great through snow, ice, salty roads, etc. Love the review and love this car. Lincoln hit it out of the park with this one.

Test drove her on Monday. I'm in the desert and we have some "interesting" roads. What an amazing ride! Very quiet and handled our roads like a dream. After watching your video, I was able to school the dealer on a lot of the car that he didn't know. Told me I sold him and do I want a job?! Ha ha! So far it seems that if one is looking for luxury, this is one's best bang for their buck. I'm in! But not until late 2022. Hopefully we'll get some chips! Right now they're adding $5k to the price due to the shortage. Not gonna pay it!😝

The Auto Start/Stop control is a toggle on the touchscreen in the infotainment system. If you press one of the buttons in between the dashboard air vents a menu comes up on the screen to turn that off or turn it back on

There is no Black Label trim for the Corsair. The highest trim is the Reserve with one of the gas-only powertrains, but then there's also a plug-in hybrid which is above this Corsair in the Corsair lineup

My Corsair has major.curb appeal. When we park it in the lot at a Mall or Restaurant, coming out towards it, the car looks good.

A few days ago I went to look underneath the Corsair for the oil filter. It was blanketed underneath for about 1/3 with a felt material. I guess Lincoln used it to buffer sound and protect components underneath the car. I'm use to seeing hard plastic. When I think about it hard plastic carries noise from the road such as rain. I give Lincoln a 9# for going the extra mile to keep the cabin quiet.👍

@@CarCoachReports Every manufacturer (just about) seems to be doing that. The Lexus ES is on the Camry platform, similar to Nissan vs Infinity and Honda with Acura. Unless you go European where they are all high end to begin with.

Well all Genesis vehicles are RWD platforms by default with the option for AWD so that's exactly what Mercedes & BMW used to do until they started to make cars that are FWD with optional AWD

I have been driving a 2021 Corsair for an entire year, how did I not know about this channel? So many features I haven't tried. I have the Reserve package, is that lower than the Black Label?

I ve had my Corsair two weeks now. This car has curb appeal and that was important for me in choosing it. It has many many techs. I'm still learning this car. When I'm away from my Corsair and as I approach it everything lights up even the door handles for visibility. There are 5 different drive modes and you can actually feel the differences in each in how the car handles the road. Initially, I was going to order a car online but my wife told me to go see the car first because what it looks like on computer is different than in person. She was right. The only knock I have about the Lincoln Corsair is that the moldings around the back and front of the car is kind of flimsy on the edges. Other than that I love this Lincoln. The pic is it's actual color with gray interior. I can't get over this car.

7000 miles already and I'm satisfied with this car in most parts. The power is good and it's very quiet while cruising. Two defects, there're some unexpected moves when it shifts at a low gear, and there is some noise from the console. But mine is not the American version, just for your information.

Thanks for the excellent review, very helpful. One suggestion: when you score a particular section, say Technology gets an 8 out of 10, it would be really valuable to say why it didn't get a 10, i.e. What's missing or poorly done. Thanks again for you reviews.

The Technology in the standard Corsair gets a 10. My reason for the ten is that when I compare the techs in the Q3, XT4, XC40, and QX50. The Corsair offers more for the money.

My Corsairs Audio System unfortunately is not premium. I give it a 6 because in any luxury vehicle leather seating and sound systems should reflect "premium". My Corsair's audio system is really lacking expecially the two rear speakers. Can't t hear them, even when I adjust them. So the audio gets a 6.

I did some research on the choice of tires on my Corsair. Lincoln did not cut corners the Michelin are top of the line products. So I rate them a 10. Lincoln chose superior tires.

You have to do it each time, as with all vehicles.

Most vehicles you have to shut off each time. I’ll have to create a list of the few that don’t force you to do it each time. BMW performance cars don’t force you to shut the start/stop Burton each time.

I have the standard Corsair also and not happy with the sound system either. It seems that we had to get the Reserve edition to get that Revel Sound System. And did you notice that we didn't get the turn signal on the side mirrors either?

@@rockyrockafella8527 Because we got the 100a I now realize that there are some things it doesn't come with. But, when I compared what our Corsair is equipped with to the Cadillac XT4, Audi Q3, or Volvo XC40 I really started to not feel slighted. Especially, considering the low price of 37,300.00. AND, considering all that it does have, which is a lot. The curb appeal of our Silver Corsair with two tone gray leather makes up for what its lacking.

If you can find a vehicle - XT4 and Corsair are very comparable. Personally I;d got Corsair. Drive both and see which works best for you.

This isn't the Black Label version since Lincoln doesn't make a Black Label version of the Corsair. It's the Reserve trim with the Monochromatic Package

This Corsair has weight to it, and it maybe on a Escape platform, but it rides like the ole Continental. It definitely rides bigger than it is.

I always laugh when people discuss "handling" in cars. ALL cars handle competently and feel secure. Every single one. The only cars that ACTUALLY handle poorly are those with heavy steering (e.g. the MKC, Ford Fusion, all Hondas/Acuras).

Christ; try diving a Genesis Coupe with "power steering"...it's like trying to drive a go-kart at 60 MPH! I like my Lincoln Corsair and Chevy Impala much better, even though I'm an experienced professional driver. You need just the right amount of road feel and steering assist to make things work properly on the roads. Otherwise, the Genesis was fine on a track. That's why I'm selling it.

Hi Lauren-I JUST DISCOVERED YOU!!!-an ACTUAL WOMAN!!!! who loves and appreciates cars! YAY! Loving your reviews and in the market to trade-in my 2017 MKZ sedan for yet another more functional SUV. A note about the cup holders in the backseat where you mentioned you prefer them to be built-in-rather than the "pull-out" style- posed a problem for me as a passenger recently as my water bottle DID NOT FIT IN IT. What is nice about the holders that pull out, they adjust to different water bottle sizes and actually worked and is functional. I know-a really minor flaw-but a real pain when you are the passenger and theres no where to safely sit your drink. Wondering what your thoughts are comparing the Corsair to the Aviator and to the Nautilus? Thanks so much!

I have a 2021 Corsair with only 2000 miles and I am very upset with what appears to be brake noise that is very noticeable at low speed as one approaches a stop sign . It is not a squeaking sound , but more of a pulsing sound with some vibration felt through the brake pedal . Prior to buying the car the auto magazines cautioned about brake performance and brake " tuning " . I like all other parts of this car , but am having a struggle getting a solution from the dealership due to apparent supply problems . If fixed , I will be happy with this car

Sounds like a brake issue. Have the dealer upgrade the pads and use replace the hardware. Should fix the issue.

Another issue I have with the built in chargers is-WHO KEEPS THEIR PHONE AWAY FROM VIEW WHEN DRIVING (tucked away in the center console?) The charger should be located in a place where you can view your phone at all times.

The Lincoln way App allows me to operate my Corsair with my phone only. Don't need keys.

That monochromatic package doesn’t do anything for the Corsair as far as handling. It’s not worth the extra dollars.The first thing to do is turn off that ‘auto off’. The button is just above the camera button…the buttons are just below the screen.

Without torque, there is no HP. HP is the speed of a vehicle. Torque is the twisting force of a crank, Rotary or Electric motor. Torque gives the vehicle it's quickness along with gearing.

You must balance the torque and horsepower through the differential ratios. That is why there are automotive engineers.

@@bobdavis3357 I'm sure that they do. It reminds me of the days before all diesel engines were turbos and there was a choice of either good high end and up hills or low speed excelleration, but not both in cars or trucks. Some trucks had two differentials.

@@CarCoachReports A HUGE issue sweet baby! You're a master pro with cars dear lady. You know that abruptly shutting off the engine after driving at high speeds does damage to the engine. Am I right? A little extra money for gas is better than an engine replacement. I mean, maybe it's just me, but I don't see ANY benefit or purpose for this feature that is a positive one. 🤔 What can I say, Lauren. You're amazing!

You can turn off with one of the physical buttons in between the center air vents in the middle of the dashboard. A menu pops up on the screen to turn it off

I have the start/stop on my F150 and although I’m not a big fan, it does save gas so I ignore it and I hardly notice it anymore!

What Ford learned from Jag and Volvo is only reason they build anything decent today . Ford lost $$2 Billion on Jag 😆 and lost another $ 2 billion Obama giveaway that none others paid back . When 0’ asked Chrysler to pay back they replied “ Chrysler gone 😆 We are FCA London Corp “

That's what I thought, as well. But the 2.0 EcoBoost (not others) seems to be rated as powerful and reliable across the review board. Even Car Wizard on YT likes it. Fords are not like they were 50 years ago....neither are Mopars, unfortunately. Times change, and you can't just judge a car by the brand anymore. My 2015 Genesis Coupe has a 3.8 killer engine in it; I call it my Korean Korvette. My 72 year old wife walks Challengers at stop-lights in it regularly.
