@@DUNGSTA Trust me, it's more entertaining than a Honda CRV Hybrid or a Honda Pilot or Passport which can be in 45 to 50K. The only thing it's truly missing is Ventilated seats. If you test drive one of these for a good 15 mins, you'll be sold. I'm on my 2nd Audi (A6 this time), and looking to turn it in for an Suv. In last three weeks I've reviewed every Small and Midsize Suv and although this is on the smaller size of most, the fun factor and styling and features is all there on this Q3, atleast on the 45 Premium Plus Q3
Joe, thank you for a great show. Beautiful body styling with the exception of the fake vents, the excellent dash board styling could and should serve as an example to other brands. Without expensive packages this might be a satisfying purchase. I really like it.
I have a 2022 Q3 that I've had for about a year now and absolutely love it. The only thing I do think they could really improve a bit is the MPG for as small as this vehicle is it doesn't get good gas mileage. I've gotten Q5 loaner vehicles that get better MPGs than my Q3. I really wish Audi would bring the Q3 Sportback to the states as well.
The fuel economy, or lack of it was one of the things putting me off the Q3, but fortunately in the UK we have diesel models too. I bought a 2022 40 TDI, which makes 200 ponies and 400 torques, 0-60 in 7.0 seconds and does 45mpg urban ...and I love it.
Just bought one. For me was the best combination of size, features and comfort. I didn't get a Q5 cos I don't want a Q5, duh ! Q5 won't fit in my garage, and it takes premium fuel (not regular) LIKE Q3. Also Q5 doesn't have nice monitor built in dash which is my favorite feature. There's nothing wrong with the engine, the car just weighs too much. 3900 lbs !!!!!. I wish they could knock off about 400lbs. That would improve everything.
Probably better than the current X1, but the new upcoming redone X1 will be a lot better! They do make an RSQ3, both normal and Sportback. I really wish Audi USA would give us both of them!!
Joe and Lori…seems like a great performer…What’s with the fake vents ,lack of heads up display and disc player? Does everyone except the older folks stream their music? Great color and great job to you both…loved your December wrap up show!
Had accidentally rented this on a recent trip to Yellowstone (supposed to have gotten a RAV4 but this was all the rental place had). Very fun to drive. Only gripe is limited trunk space, but otherwise good vehicle.
I bought a Q3 for my wife. She has had 2 BMW's and a Q5 in the past. We feel the Audi is better than the others and love the fact our Q3 runs on regular gas. Fifty years ago, it would not have mattered but with fuel costs today any penny saved is worth it. This is a very nice automobile.
I am 16 and got the model q3 2022 last year when I got my permit. Quite the cute and luxurious car. I get my license mid-February. I highly recommend this car as it drives very smoothly. I have the s-line 2022, navy exterior, brown leather interior, LED lights
You are right. The fake front vents are a bummer and fog lights would of made the front end better. The wheels are nice .The rear was sad to see no dual exhaust. The interior was nice.
I agree the red works surprisingly well on this thing. Not so much as it’s how I’d go but not the mismatch it is on most SUVs. An issue here is you can pretty easily get a Q5 for that same $.
Thank you for another awesome review. I just love watching you review cars, you're amazing and they're fun! Onwards to 1million subscribers in no time!!!!
Great video! I was all ready to purchase one of these until you brought up the chefs in the backseat. I always want to feel comfortable picking up people wielding knives off the side of the road and would be too concerned about them damaging my seat pockets.
Test-drove 2023 X1 today... Excellent vehicle overall except hard plastic rear-door panels and the Q3-like invisible exhaust... X1 does have the heads-up display that Raiti wants... And much better mpg (28 city, 34 hwy)
That is crazy that new Nissan Maxima you recently reviewed is the same price basically wow this Audi not over priced but i would have liked to see remote start.
Merry Christmas to the Raiti’s Ride team giving us the business today giving me something while I wait for the family pot of gumbo to be finish. Thanks 🤜🤛
Thanks Joe, really nice styling and great color. I love how Audi is integrating the infotainment screen into the dashboard, while still retaining the manual climate controls and buttons for heated seats, etc.
Hey Raiti's Rides How Are You Merry Christmas My Favorite auto reviewers. Just Love Your Content And Value Your Opinion So Much. How About A Review On The? 2023 Audi A5 Sportback Prestige! It's On My Short List For Purchase in 2023. Would Love To Get Your Opinion
People who buy these cars with cargo nets behind the seats are definitely going to put sharp objects in them. They just want to tear them up so they can't store anything else in there. You make a good point Joe.
I would recommend anyone who is thinking about Q3 to go and have a test drive and real check of the interior space. To me Q3 is a squeezed version of Q5 and may not be preferred by anyone over a petite build. Put some more $$ and get Q5 instead 👍🏼 Q3 sound more of a fun ride for college graduates 😉😄
I disagree. I wanted to buy an X3 (G01) but didn't found a well equiped model in a fair price range. the interior design of the X3 (pre lci) and mmi also felt pretty outdated. Same goes for the current Q5 with that huge tablet tucked in the middle of the dashboard😂 So i tried this new Q3. Me and my girlfriend where surprised how spaceous the car felt in the front for a "compact suv". We end up buying this because if you are not fat or overly overweight you don't need more room. The Q5/X3 is bigger but more in the back side not a huge different on the front to be honest
@@DerHalbeEuro along with “fat and overly weight”, another parameter is height. In Q3 the leg space is not that much and felt like cramped. Personal view 👍🏼 Enjoy the Q3, is a cute and beautiful ride 🚙
@@markchopping well, that is true, but it’s worse to say you own a Prius, which ranks just above … I own a Yugo. So many other cars out there to chose from.
@@marinasmith4772 really like it. I think it’s a big upgrade compared to the previous X1, it now really feels like a premium car. In the end however, BMW and Audi are comparable I think. Before this X1 I had an 2020 Audi A4 and that was great too. So you should decide based on which you personally like the most.
@@marinasmith4772 not really, but that too is very personal. In the Audi I only used the steering wheel buttons even though it had a wheel (that was my 2018 A3, the 2020 A4 also only had touch screen). Now on the BMW I have the HUD, and that combined with the steering wheel buttons is all I need. I can switch between audio sources and radio channels/songs. That’s all I need personally.
Joe this Q3 is styled well for sure. However [Mr. Lichte] I do agree "Black Optics" should include black in the headlights, Vents should never be NON-Functional & Those Audi Doughnuts on the front Grille and rear liftgate should've been blacked out as well. Great job as always! Twinkies are the best reference for storage!! **Need to create a Hide the Rear Wiper Movement!
Only thing about Audi is the options can get ridiculous in comparison to others like BMW. No head up display is a zonk at 50k. Why the Germans don’t offer vented seats in all models is beyond me. No remote start also a zonk. Why they haven’t offered an SQ3 is also a head-scratcher…the engine is fairly anemic and should offer something else like they do in every other model.
So have a 2019 and a passenger commented on how the car does not throw you around while spirited driving in corners. And it feels light so the motor feels strong enough. Just doesn’t sound very good
I wish yptu could try here in Mexico another brand from the VW group called SEAT Ateca 4drive, with aboutbthe same features as that audi with bigger back seat space , DSG transmisión, 1.4 turbo 150hp, aluminim padless, for half of the price!!
Error in your statement about not making RSQ3....audi actually makes one but its on sale only in Europe and parts of Asia. North America doesnt get it because the 5 cyclinder RS engine doesnt pass EPA pollution specs. But there is an RS3 that is available in limited supplies to the US but not Canada due to pollution.
Now, this is a beaut. However, I prefer a silver colored exterior with brushed aluminum interior trimming, and Hall & Oates and/or Dave Matthews Band cdS.
@@TheBreakfastLover And I think the GLA45 AMG needs some competition from Audi in the USA, and the RSQ3 would be the solution, but unfortunately, it’s currently not confirmed for the US market.
@@razorraysolarsavings70 Most other companies think the US market isn’t suitable for hatchbacks either, and therefore they just don’t bother shipping them to your shores.
A couple of comments: You get more oomph with the S-line, about 40 more horses. Panoramic sunroof is standard on ALL Q3s. Also there is a Q8 (beyond a Q7) but not sure which is dimensionally bigger, but the Q8 is more expensive.
