I had 5 silverados, this time i got the 2022 f150 3.5l ecoboost. Both have been great trucks. I figured this time i needed a change. And so far Ford has been good to me also.

Great review. Also you are the person to talk about the lock and unlock buttons on the rear door. I notice they were available on the 2019 and some 2020s. Thank you for explaining how you can get it.

As a Chevrolet guy I think the Ford is still better. Nicer exterior and interior styling. Better built overall and better powertrain options. Not to mention the MPG improvements. The 2022 Silverado is still a great truck though and I'd be proud to own one

You get more bang for your buck from the Chevy. However the F-150 offers better engine options on lower trim trucks , has more aluminum and does not have a wax protecting the frame. I also thing the Ford is more quite , less road noise and better. Each truck has better materials on certain parts of the truck. Chevy has more bed space , but the Ford have better seats! Pick which one fits you best !
