Is the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer a BETTER luxury SUV than an Escalade?

This is truly the roll royce of SUVs, this has the most bang for the bunk in this segment, it feels more like a $150,000 suv. This feels like the best offering in this segment even though I grew up really enspired by the escalade. This is a very tough choice. My brain is telling me escalade and my heart is telling the grand wagoneer. It's very rare to see jeep compete and even beat every luxury SUVs in this segment. I never knew I was gonna say this to a jeep.

Funny how I'm not even in the market for a car right now, but still somehow find myself watching every single one of these videos.

Escalade is by far the most technologically advanced large luxury SUV, other than Tesla model X,...especially with Level 2 autonomous driving on highway with SuperCruise.

I own a 2011 jeep grand Cherokee and it is the most luxurious ride I've ever known. I've worked on many cars over the years including Cadillac and Mercedes and my grand Cherokee puts them all in the dust, I can't how much better the grand wagoneer could be, but as for me I can't imagine a better vehicle than my grand Cherokee limited

It's so great the way you chop up the vehicle exterior and interior descriptions all the while tossing around errant food references for scale; I was iffy on those door pockets but the extra guac reference dialed it in perfectly. A brilliantly unique take! I would go this over the new Escalade all day long, btw.

When this video started I thought that if I have a choice between a Navigator, Escalade and Jeep, I’m going with the Navigator. After the review,I would definitely take a serious look at this Grand Wagoneer . That hemi under the hood and an interior that is in a class by itself will make anyone’s decision easier. However, I don’t see anybody paying $110,000 for this vehicle and driving it over rocks and trees. Great review.

I never wanted an Escalade I've been wanting the yukon denali xl for awhile but this oh god this hits all the buttons! Best in class towing, huge interior, plenty of entertainment for the kids and mom, plus if you get the obsidian it even looks good! It also has the cameras, driver assistance, wifi, this is a clear winner

One year ago today! Thinking of buying it!

Jeep's been killing it with the wagoneer, most spacious so far which will be awesome on a long trip. Sure ain't cheap and thirsty but if you can afford it then who cares 😁, it's V8 and made in USA baby yeah👍.

Only thing that it's missing are the concept 24" wheels they looked great.

The interior is amazing, I really like it and theirs just sooo much space. 😀

Amazing video the Jeep grand Wagoneer is lit

I have the 2021 Escalade and it is the second biggest love of my life, the first being my daughter. I’m drawn to this for a lot of the tech aspects but hands down the interior of the Escalade is much nicer and more luxurious looking. They used a lot of gloss black in the wagoneer which is a turn off for me. But I’m sooo sad that my Escalade doesn’t have some of the features this one has. The tvs with all the apps already installed. Genius and much easier than having to plug in the hdmi and usb’s and deal with cords. The camera to view the backseats from the center screen to check on passengers/kids. Amazing. Touch screen control in the back for AC. Love ! and my daughter could use on her own being only 4. I’m probably gonna get the new grand Cherokee as my second car for now but if they keep making this car and upgrading the style/interior and make the mpg better than 13 city then I’ll probably sell my Escalade and get one of these in the future !

New Escalade is beautiful, but it’s become cliche. THIS is something fresh and completely different. The wheels are hideous, but that’s an easy fix. I’ve been waiting for this. Great review!!!

Wow!!! I had the last year of the original Grand Wagoneer. Had all of the "bells and whistles" of the times. 1991. It was my favorite vehicle of all the vehicles I've owned in my 62yrs. Nice big 360 cu. in. Beautiful engine. If I still had the need for a full size SUV, this first year comeback of the Grand Wagoneer would be my choice. Cadillac and Lincoln wouldn't have been a consideration for very long at all. This vehicle is pretty close to being in dictionaries under definition of "perfect vehicle".

Excellent lease for the family who did not pay their rent for the past 18 months, saving about the total lease payments and needs a place to live because the eviction stoppage will end.

I like your review but I feel like you should've also pointed out the glossy-screen on the front passenger side. It will be extremely reflective and hard to see during the day and depending on where the sun is shining. They should've put a matt finish ontop of the screen. I understand why they did it though, so the finish seems like one giant gloss black piece rather than a matt black surrounded by gloss black finish.

Haven’t drove a new Escalade but rented a 22 wagoner and was stunned how this vehicle drives. The tech is good as it gets imo.

The blacked out roof, independent rear suspension, everything about the front grill, the entire interior, and there appears to be plenty of room under the hood for a supercharger.🤣🔥👍 You can definitely hear the quietness of the cabin. This is a underrated feature of a true luxury vehicle in my opinion. Great vehicle and great video! Maybe decaf next time?🤣👍

Interior and features so impressive.

Test drove a Series 2 and it was like riding on a cloud, not to mention the luxurious interior. Jeep definitely knocked it out of the park.

I like Lincoln, Cadillac, & Jeep - all three are excellent! 🇺🇸👍🏻 [Realizing that Jeep is multinational these days].

I just rented an Escalade from the airport in Denver and had it for a week. I am in the market for a new vehicle so I was interested in the Range Rover Valar SV autobiography, Mercedes GLS, BMW X7, Navigator and Escalade. I had set my sights on the Range Rover that was until my wife sent me a article about the Jeep Grand Wagoneer so I went to test drive and check it out. After test driving the grand wagoneer and looking at everything (for the first time) I ordered one today! The Grand Wagoneer is a much much better vehicle than the Range Rover, Escalade, Navigator, Mercedes GLS, BMW X7, etc. I am still floored at how high the quality is on the GW! It was actually sport )when driving and the interior is LUXURY!!! In my humble opinion the GW doesn’t have any competition! If your in the market for a 100k+ luxury SUV then look no further
