Love your style of car review. Details of the design aspects and doing a live redesign right onto the real car is amazing and quite entertaining. Keep doing the amazing job you're doing.
Well its because this model (g30 regular 5er, f90 m5) started its production in 2017. New generation, thats coming out this or next year probably will have one
@@skipijs5316 Yes, but the new facelift bmw x5 or 3 series for example has that huge ugly screen, both started their production in 2019 with normal simple beautiful dashboard
It’s surely the best looking BMW today!! E38 and E39 vibes! Great ‘live editing’ of design details! I’d only improve the slats of the grilles, putting them fully vertical without them pointing at the center.
This car is such a turn on ❤ When you showed a glimpse of adding a little bit of body separation between the kidney grille and the light housing it put a smile on my face as it reminded me of the 2019 M6 Gran Coupe which is also one of the sexiest BMWs ever!
With the front bumper and headlight redesign that you've shown us, I think you've created the F10 bmw M5. Anyway, great review, even greater car, and i'm as a proud owner of a (regular) G30 5-series, i adore the car's design and styling.
I always liked the M6, and the generation before the M8 had a pretty solid design. I feel the M8 built on its attractive low profile and wide sweeping exterior to give a timeless look. But I’m a sucker for sedans, and the M6/M8 looks better as a coupe to me.
That’s a beautiful M5. Had a e90 M5 as my wknd driver. The 2024’s are getting ready to come out. But I would get this last model in the F series and that’s my color also.
The edit you did when you were talking about the changes you would want to make/experement with was so clean and it would fit the car perfectly. You should work for BMW 😆👍.
Colorado license plates. American (including Canadian) models do not come with OPF filters. Source: I own one in Canada. Also, it will sound even louder than this when the engine is warm and the exhaust flaps are fully open. And this is referring to the stock competition exhaust. With the titanium one there are no exhaust flaps!
The double shoulder line creates a strange spot where it goes from positive to negative. Maybe it would have looked cleaner when the top shoulderline stayed high and swept right over the front wings.
Best BMW M5 version. Way better than CS in my opinion. CS is just not comfortable car with Nurburgring map printed on seats, that goes slower on Nurburgring than 4 door Mercedes. Base model M5 and M5 competition is fast enough, comfortable and cheaper than useless track focused M5 CS without track achievements lmao
The current 5 Series and 8 Series are the best-looking models in BMW's lineup. We're also this close to unveiling the next-gen 5 Series; hopefully, it will maintain the beauty the 5 Series is known for. On another note, I have no idea why the M5 Comp and the M8 Comp have the same horsepower. In other words, you're paying more for a larger vehicle with the same 617 horsepower, and maybe some suspension changes. It also doesn't help that the M5 CS has 627 horsepower as opposed to 617. If the M8 Comp is meant to be the flagship model, I would think it needs at least more power over the M5 Comp and M5 CS to justify its higher price tag.
Each BMW dealer ship has one in the showroom. But it’s already discontinued. There is going to be a redesigned M5 coming next year with G60 base but that doesn’t look as good as this one
Yeah but BMW is all over the place with the headlights. That's 4 L shaped lights. The 2024 has 4 side triangle lights. I only light the 2022 headlights.
If for whatever the reason someone was looking for a sedan.....in this price range....I wold recommend the M5 Comp. Soemthing not mentioned is thwat BMW did with the "nostrils"...they didn't make it "rectangular shaped--vertically" resembling 2 "buck teeth" :) As see on the M3 and other Bimmers. A BIG mistake IMHO. Kept ME from looking at the other models. ..the SUVs....Sadly i'd prefer a coupe...if htey could turn the M5 Comp into a coupe....
@@boondockbwoy14 My yt reccomended is full of videos of people test driving the new 5series with the camo on it. It looks like an uglier design than the F90. I don't think it will be much different without the camo so that's why.
@@Thesketchmonkey fair enough. Certainly here in the UK the ride is brutal for something which is supposed to be a luxury sedan. It’s more than just stiff, it’s pretty brittle and exposes the foibles in the chassis. Like most modern cars, it’s best left in comfort suspension mode, makes it more progressive too
