Is the 2023 Chevy Suburban a better SUV to buy than a Jeep Grand Wagoneer L? 

The more I see these full size suv's the more I want one. I think it's time to get one.

4 rows ? lol The big family hauler, but I always see a petite, 5 ft woman driving these alone……..taking 10 minutes to get out of a parking spot. 🤣🤣

If you are nervous about driving a big Suburban, there has never been a better time to buy one. 360 cameras and autonomous driving make this so easy to drive, maneuver in tight places and park.

Man I really like both of them but Chevy has really been winning my heart the last few years, the designs they are putting out like this one is incredible.

We bought a 23 Suburban RST, we love the sporty look without the chrome. My wife loves driving it and the cameras make it easy to park and maneuver in tight places.

That metallic sage color with the contrasting brown/saddle interior is spectacular. That and it's got a diesel power plant that is great on mpg and quiet. Solid interstate family hauler. Thanks Man!!

Wow, the upgrade to the duramax is a game changer! We just rented the 6.2L Z71 suburban down there on vacation, and my wife actually loved driving it! She's sold!!! Definitely will be upgrading next yr from our 22 odyssey. Also, that trunk space swamps our minivan's capacity. It's perfect for our family! I know you mentioned minivans have more space in the 3rd row. On paper/legroom about an inch, yes, but the hip/shoulder room and seat height from the floor makes this way more comfortable to be honest. My kids haven't stopped reminding me 😅. Very happy with our 2022 Duramax Suburban RST 4wd. The red 🍒 tintcoat paint really pops. High country was a little too much $ but the RST has everything we need with the luxury package, sunroof, and max tow. Road trips loaded down gets just over 26mpg driving 75-80mph.

I love everything expect that freakin shifter ! Why can’t it be a knob or a good old fashioned windshield wiper looking one ?!

I'm also digging the Suburban in the Silver Sage, with or without the metal flake like on my grandfather's bowling balls.

The colour is as perfect as the rest of SUV. Amazing Super Cruze is one slick system. Thank Joe and you camera guy all was too to watch your show.

As a kid my younger brother and I LOVED Cracker Jack's because in the very bottom of the box were real metal toy cars. But they weren't in all the boxes.. Can't remember what else they had. One gift per box. But an, it was soon cooool!

I really like how you can get a diesel in the new Suburban and I really dig several of the options like the 360 camera, the console and that Silver Sage color but I'm in love with the interior of the Grand Wagoneer so I've gotta go with that over the Suburban.

I'm digging Joe and his videos. I'm also digging the Suburban, or i love it. No one makes cars like the US, and it's coming from a guy waaaay up north in Europe. The sad story for us who love this cars, is that our government should be on a mountain, instead of putting taxes on these beautiful cars. This is by far the best family hauler hands down. It can tow, haul people with plenty of room and is efficient for what it is with the duramax.

The diesel isn't a bad option, but doesn't have the highway passing power the 6.2 has, I love my Escalade 6.2 Great video

Absolutely not, I had the chance to drive the new Wagoneer in winter in Wyoming, nothing less than excellent .. I couldn’t have been more surprised. Fit and finish excellent. Super easy 4WD system. Turning radius was fantastic. In fact when I saw the Jeep, I was disappointed and didn’t want such a large rental. I drove it for a week, in major snow and ice everyday. Absolutely impressed and I’m a huge car / truck guy ! Sorry Chevy, Jeep wins for me !

This is the longest running car model in the entire auto industry. Love the metallic green color. Very elegant, and so much nicer than yet another shade of gray. Amazing they can get 20 MPG in the city in this 6000 lb monster. I can remember when these vehicles got 11 MPG back in the day. Trucks would have 14 speed transmissions and big diesel motors, so this is just a yuppified truck. But hey, for 90k you deserve some luxury. It's very hard to have major faults when you are on your 12th generation of a product, unless you let some newbie ruin some of the design. I knew a guy who was a long time salesman at a Chevy dealership, and he said that the fatality statistics for drivers of this car is near zero; in a collision, the other guy is going to get hurt, not you. So provably one of the safest vehicles ever made. It always comes down to mass & height; and this car has both.

I just wonder the reliability and quality control of these Modern GM vehicles. I know the 90s and early 2000s were really well built and bullet proof.

As a 2022 Grand Wagoneer owner, it has a “presence” about it that most vehicles don’t command. We went to buy a Yukon XL a couple times, and even out down a deposit, but they’re couldn’t guarantee delivery by a certain date. Either way, we got the Series III with literally every option, and boy or boy, it has some toys and surprises. Is it worth $30k more than a Denali XL? No, it is not

For $90k, 10 inches isn’t enough, the infotainment screen should be at least 12 inches with no border. Thanks Joe for demonstrating the super cruise, kind of cool how it changed lanes to get out of the way of the faster vehicle coming up on you. See you on the next ride.

At 6'4 I was in a newer suburban a couple weeks ago and for being bigger the Wagoneer 2nd and third rows are much more comfortable. Seats are far more comfortable in all rows, materials are also much better on the jeeps even lower trims. Ventilated second row seats Jeep is quieter, rides nicer just overall a much nicer rig. That being said Chevy has come a long ways, maybe some day they will come out on top. Only 2 features better on the burb is separate rear glass pop, fixed second row cup holders and super cruise. Not enough to win me over with everything else considered. Tow capacity is higher on wagoneer too.

Even though the legroom is fine, the c pillar in the third row area blocks all the view out the window. I sat in one and honestly it is very claustrophobic due to it.

Nice I need a long distance vehicle for my kids in college.

Alright I dislike that it doesn’t have fog lights for such a big vehicle directed for family and luxury visibility in a storm is important also the rims. Should’ve been a darker grey. The silver ruins it also the bronze logo for Chevy should’ve been grey as well P.S the fact it’s also 4x4 and you chose the diesel version means a lot. A reliable vehicle

Great color. Not a fan of the chrome accents on the wheels. I would choose the Z71 trim. Blacked out bowties looks much better. Whenever we rent cars, we go for Tahoes or Suburbans.
