Is the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor the best NEW performance SUV to BUY? 

$107K? Isn’t MSRP only $70K? So this dealership has a $37K markup. Only give business to dealerships that sell at MSRP. This dealership is clearly price gouging customers.

In many ways it's frustrating being a car enthusiast. There are so many amazing vehicles being made yet there is the painful reality of dealing with markups and the usual painful process of buying from a dealer. It seems like every exciting vehicle that is released like this Bronco Raptor comes an anxious tension that I'll need to fork over an extra $30k just to get my hands on one. At the end of the day it's hard to stomach. I believe that dealerships will cause more and more buyers to give up and buy a Tesla.

That is one sweet ride. Love the interior and the infotainment system.

Bronco Raptor has a nice ring to it. Prefer the 2 door in terms of looks but this works too. Jeeps are the norm for off roading and are fun to drive. Liking the exterior lighting, the color Area 51, put some killer wheels on it and/or maybe a light bar just for starters!

The raptor is nice I definitely can agree a 2door raptor would be awesome especially if they made one with an optional manual transmission that would be amazing

This is what Ford should have had from day one. This is the real deal. Good luck getting one of these though. I had a 21 on reservation and gave up after a year. I have an F-150 Tremor now.

I would definitely buy this over a wrangler. My ex-wife had a wrangler and I thought it was pretty cheesy didn’t have much in it. It was very sporty and it was a Sahara I believe.

For the price, I would like to see the 3.5L HO Eco boost instead of the 3.0L. However, that thing still gets up and goes! It's not like I can afford something like this. This is the way to succeed going forward in the auto biz; create a product that is narrowly focused on a specific customer use (in this case, tearing around in the wilderness and desert), and go as extreme as you can get. Then price isn't such an issue, and the customers are happy and not even thinking about the competitors. A monster vehicle. Shameful that the stealerships are adding such big markups.

When I get the Megamillions I'm outfitting my Montana cabin with a Bronco Raptor, in Area 51!!! The no two-door option sucks and the engine is ugly but I need that power! Thanks guys, great way to start a Friday morning!!!

The interior looks great in this version. Ford offered some weird combinations of colors in the beginning and people were freaking out. Nice that Ford woke up.

Nice review Joe. If I could have any Bronco I would pick a Badlands non Sasquatch Area 51 manual tranny with hardtop and towing package. I would gladly pay MSRP, but not a penny over. As you know my requirements would be laughed at by any dealer at the moment due to supply constraints. Too bad Ford can’t build enough of these as they are missing out on boo-koo bucks $$$ !!!

the price over msrp is astonishing. ford cannot be happy dealerships do this. (nor can any manufacturer) volvo does not do this. at least that know of. get a polestar2. not in the same realm .. but also 15mpg? that's egregious in 2023.

I don’t know comparing with wrangler because i didnt drive bronco or wrangler but new defender 90 is an amazing car . I would buy in parallel and one raptor branco but not available yet in europe !

FWIW, the Raptor fender flairs aren’t easily removable like the standard broncos.

Personally if I were to trade in my jeep gladiator Rubicon. I whould have the bronco raptor in red or Orange.

Really trying to decide if they are worth the hype.
