Hallo AkaiCBR, und wieder mal ein tolles Video von dir. Audio und Video sind top. Mir gefällt vor allem der hohe Kontrast bzw. Effekt bei diesem Video. Wie hast du das gemacht? Danke im Voraus!
Starting on 650cc is a bit aggressive, but if you start on one, CB650R is probably the best one to do it on, as the full HP output is locked up-top. And if you take it easy as a beginner and mostly deal with 40-50hp under 6000rpm, then as you build confidence, you can start tapping into full power in higher rpms.
@@plotonapolonich5513 I m gonna be careful I promise 🤞I did my driving license on a CB750 HORNET and I could handle it pretty well. Well I think I have to keep driving as if my instructor is driving behind me...at least until I get comfortable 😋
I have the 2023 model and love it. Everything you say here is accurate. This bike is about as “beginner friendly” as a 95+ horsepower bike can be - it isn’t going to “jump off the line” at an intersection due to the low torque numbers at the bottom. But mine is unrestricted and it will fly for a street bike (not a supersport but will hit 150 mph) so it’s great at highway speeds. This puts it in the unique position as serving as a “long term” bike if you’re a daily rider like me as well as being okay to start IF YOU’RE MATURE in your decisions as a rider.
Yep, the restricted and unrestricted versions are both very comfortable and low risk - just to clarify, mine is unrestricted. Thank you for your comment 🙏
Yes most definitely, best confidence booster and path to a bigger bike later. I just purchased one with E Clutch have to say I love it, been on bikes 40 years plus, it’s lots of fun, admittedly makes me lazy as not using the clutch, I do pull it by accident once in a while but got out the habit quickly. I nearly kill myself when I go on my other bike within the first few seconds but get back into it quickly feathering etc lol. I would advise new riders don’t go too big, you’ll be scared off and it won’t be enjoyable, some can adapt no problem but this is where accidents start happen. They extort new riders on bigger bikes, go for the 650, build up the discounts, it’s worth it. Get more road craft with a more management bike first, it’s worth it in the long run and when ready go up to a litre plus if so. Sad thing is now, there are strict speed limits, cameras, idiotic and more dangerous drivers on the roads now. Stay safe, and enjoy the CBR650 if you get one with or without E Clutch.
You are telling viewer what my dad told me when I started riding when I was 16. Wish more people shared this info. With the new tech in tires you can lean even more. Great content, keep it up! Greetings from The Netherlands!
Not just a beginner's bike, it is the best bike! Having so much fun after receiving it so far, I am able to drive it to the workplace every day without any exhaustion. Lovin it!
The CBR650R is the perfect all-rounder: ample power, fuel-efficient, sporty but not overly so. It has everything you will ever need. I had one last year and I loved it. Unfortunately, I sold the bike a couple of months ago because I thought I needed an upgrade. So I bought the S1000RR. I love this bike as well, but if I'm honest, it's a little bit too much. The CBR650R is just the sweet spot. I miss it a lot. I'm considering trading again. :D
Just subscribed, you’re on your way up in the motorcycle content world, my friend! I’ve ordered a 2023 CBR650R in black, but won’t get it until end-July/Aug because of a few reasons. I watch videos like yours a lot because it’s almost like living it out on one for now 😂
The CBR650R is technically everything that you need. The bike has plenty of power and it can get you in trouble if you don’t show respect. I have a CBR1000RR now and I miss the 650 . Why? Because it is comfortable and is a perfect sport touring bike
I’m not so sure I’d agree on the “touring” part there. Unless you’re ok with being restricted to soft luggage and much less capacity than a slightly larger machine. The Tracer 7/9 make for good tourers but obviously aren’t as sporty. The Ninja 1000SX is more dedicated to chewing through the miles but it’s a powerful machine unto itself, it just has the option of great hard luggage. If the back end was slightly more accommodating for luggage I’d be inclined to agree, but it definitely has its limitations for long distance riding in my opinion.
Just passed the first part of the A2 license (I don't have any other license, even B), now it's time for the traffic exam. This is my dreams moto, I've been watching videos, looking for information, pricing, people thoughts, and finally it seems that I'll be able to put my hands on it. Thanks for videos like yours, it makes me keep the desire of owning this beast/princess. Good content dude, new sub.
Really great bike! I tried the E-Clutch version, made a video about it, but just POV ride, no comment, still shy about it, was my first video 😅 But the E-Clutch was an amazing technology 😁
..another excellent video! Especially describing why you don't really need a middleweight or Liter Super Sport, unless to use on the track. (everyone knows that's more of an ego thing now)! But to be a safer rider on public roads..a CBR 650r, Ninja 650r, Daytona 660, Aprilia 660, CBR 500, GSX 8r.. is all anyone needs !!!
I see a lot of these crashed for sale :D haven't ridden it so I can't tell how it fairs for beginners , I believe the only thing what makes a beginner bike is how twitchy the throttle is, especially on 1st gear it can catch you off guard. Other skills like cornering, breaking, slow maneuvering etc etc is learned over time but are not that power dependent.
I'm currently trying to get an apointment for driving school and, i really wanna do the A2, i've looked into many Bikes b4 like the suzuki GSX or the Kawasaki Ninja, but honestly the one that is speaking to me the most is the CBR650, i really hope i can do my A2 soon.
The CBR isn't a begginer bike in my opinion. But an awesome bike. Its like a VW Golf GTi. Good for traveling, comuting, confortable, reliable, not to much expensive, and sporty enough. Not a race track bike, but if you race it, it won't be embarasing.
Im 40 yo, located in South East Asia, where traffic is crazy, literally crazy tbh. I rode a few low-cc bikes (125-150) since I knew how to ride (around 16yo), then I jumped straight to 1000cc in 2015 with a 2011 Z1000, yep, crazy I know. Sold it to a friend due to not having time to ride, I mean, short/med trips (~2/300 kms). Riding high cc nakeds and super sport in city is torturing. It fries your balls in summer, red light stops (jk), left hand was like numbing after an hour of traffic jam, balls hurt too (jk). So I decided to just quit riding high cc bike at 2016. Im still using a 150cc scooter for daily commuting. Then back in 2019, a got gifted a Ducati Monster 693 from a friend, who doesn't ride, he quits too but hoped that I could take care of his Monster. I gladly accepted the gift, very nice sounding LTwins with Akapovich, but my nuts told me NO (lol). It's just too hot to endure more than 1 hour of riding, its air-cooled btw. I couldnt even bear to ride it in summer where its constantly on 38-40,C outside, so after a year or two the Ducati is now sit in my garrage, dead battery, and rotten chain. I have no idea why suddenly a new 2024 cbr650r ad got my attention for the e-clutch. Im now very interested in gettin one. I searched around yt, found your vid and others, but no one mentioned how hot/comfortable the engine is under your seat after a medium trip.
When did you order yours? I ordered mine i end of October 2023. and still has not arrived jet... Can't wait go get my hands on it...😊 Stay safe, and practise counter steering (if wheight of your bike is an issue)
literaly what i did started on this bike (A3 license), 2023 model and used to ride a 125cc scooter. Gotta say its a really good starter bike but tbh i kinda regret buying it, i think there are a lot of other good option as starter bike for A3 license. But if you only have acces to A2 license this is the bike for you, its awesome, comfortable and can be derestricted when you get A3 license and still have a really good bike on your hands
@@AkaiCBR i also kinda regret not waiting few months, i bought it in september, if i waited a bit i could have got 2024 version with tft display and the way better tail, sadge
@@AkaiCBR yeah thats true, it has been in the market for such a long time that u have acces to all kind of mods. But still 2024 version is so dam hot imo
Perfect video! I have been riding on a KTM Duke 125cc for nearly 3 years now I got my license and this bike catches my eye. How does the bike fair the city?
How are the ergonomics on that bike are you really leaning forward like a super sport or is it more of an upright position? Do you wish you had opted for the E clutch??? Kind of a no-brainer when they're only charging $100 quid for it.
The eclutch is now here and it’s really not necessary, both eclutch and QS are janky at low speeds. The seating position is a middle ground between super sport and naked
I using my CBR650R only on Track for Racing. I have all different Sprokets for Front and Rear and most i use the Frontsproket 16Z. But you must know, the ECU calculate the Speed with the Crank rpm and the Transmission, if you change a Sproket, the Dashboard will show you not the real Speed. A smaller Frontsproket and a bigger Rearsproket will show you a higher Speed and a bigger Frontsproket a lower Speed. For me on a Track, that is no Problem but if you will use the Bike on a Speedrestricted Highway, you must control and calculate this.
I just got the same bike as you and I’m loving it , I have a question since you mentioned you are going to do your first service can I ask how many km you’ve done until you need to make the first service ? Thank you really appreciate your videos
Is it comfortable position or its like the other naked bike from kawasaki such as z1000 i drove one my back hurts and its not comfortable is this like a normal bike position or i must lay my back and my hands too far from handle like sport bikes. ?
