Right now I'm at the 2024 Chicago International Auto Show for the 2-day press event. I'm shooting reviews for the Vehicle Visionary RU-vid channel. While I was working on a video this morning I saw Mr. Raiti walking by and I stopped him, introduced myself and asked him to take a picture with me. He was SO gracious and polite to me and took the picture, and even though I was interrupting him he took the time to chat with me for a couple minutes. He's a gentleman for sure Thanks for the picture Mr. Raiti 🙂👍.
That’s dope! Some people are really not that nice in person & regardless of how big their channel is or not will be douche nozzles so I think it’s awesome you had a great experience meeting him :)
You could plug in an oven and electric grill to that NEMA 15-40R 240V electrical outlet in the bed, if you want! Refrigerator/freezers too, no problem. Great trend in EV trucks, those electrical outlets. Ramcharger will have best of both worlds with the Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine, too.
They always start out high price cause tesla is trying to make profits not lose money and manufacturing always starts out more expensive until production ramps up. It's a good start for an ev truck and I'm sure many improvement are coming over the next couple years. The drive by wire is the best part of it. Hope you get to test drive one and take it offroad. I saw two of these out in California, one wrapped in matte black and another in matte green and matte black. It looked incredible. Hope one day Tesla will offer at the very least a black cybertruck.
Tbh the wraps are the only way I'd ever own one... there's no clear coat on the stainless steel, it's notoriously bad at resisting oils and bird droppings.
The ford raptor has 700 horsepower , the ram 1500 has 540 horsepower hell even a dam ford ranger is pushing almost 500 horsepower now 🤣it’s not uncommon dude you living in the 1970s still 😂
I wouldn’t be caught dead in that thing. Also, as with all Teslas, the interior leaves MUCH to be desired. Mercedes and Audi EVs have significantly better interiors. Tesla is overrated.
The folks at throttle house, Thomas and James, were not fans of it. They completed a thorough review and even drove it for a thousands miles - visibility is extremely poor, the interior lacks quality and has numerous rattles and creeks. The ride quality is also terrible. Moreover, the sharp edges raise safety concerns. Not surprising. It is a Tesla.

Honestly very unimpressed with this vehicle and the price point is ridiculously expensive. I consider the styling to be horrendous and mundane. If I’m going to drop 6 figures on a vehicle it better have a WOW factor and this truck does not. It looks me of a huge metal door wedge.
I don't know the answer to tour question Raiti. But I do know this, this Bulletproof Cybertruck is going to be good for the zombie apocalypse AND stopping doors along the way! 😆 Man, if they only had one of these on the Walking Dead........😏
So I’m not hating on Tesla but personally I’m not a fan of their cars only for the fact that if you try to fix your car, no shop or mechanic is going to know what they’re doing same goes with the cyber truck. I love the way it looks exterior/ interior but my issue is finding a shop where I live that even services for electric cars
overrated. hands down. #1: Tesla did not meet any of the promises for the Cybertruck. #2: It's ugly. #3: Electric "trucks" are horrible trucks in real life due to battery drain.
Joe I’m surprised you haven’t gotten one yet to drive. I’ve seen a lot of the tech channels have though. Is this being done on purpose, they want tech people to drive it but not actual car reviewers and enthusiasts?
A trunk is a container or compartment. Doesn't matter if it is in the rear or the front, it's still a trunk. Cybertruck looks cool, like it was designed in Minecraft.
Something I noticed about the Cyber Truck at the show that no one has mentioned, or noticed, is that when sitting in the back seats that tonneau cover sounds like a train on railroad tracks as it was rolling itself in.
I have to zonk Tesla for moving away from parking sensors. I would choose parking sensors over a camera if I could only have one. Wonder if that charging port on the wheel well will ever be glued shut by mud.
This is cool until you need to use it as a functional truck and not a gimmick status symbol. Just be sure to not take it off road, tow, take long trips, expect any resale value after the battery dies, or try to charge it in the cold weather and you'll be fine. It is almost the same as a disposable camera but for $100,000!
Curious how the front bumper cameras will handle off-road rock and debris? My X5 has had no issues but I stay on pavement PS Plywood and sheet rock is 8 x 4. how will that fit in the 6 x 4 cybertruck bed?
Imaging dissing this car since it was announced and I got a chance to see it in Tesla store. The car is majestic and the at bigger than you see on tv. Really clean. Oh I’m a fan boy now. All I think about is this truck and I can’t afford it
My Rav4 Adventure is so easily scratch that I've always wondered how it could possibly be off trail! Now, I'm wondering the same thing about Cybertruck to which I hope it's more scratch and rust proof.

I was waiting for the Cybertruck for the longest time but gave up and bought a ICE sports car instead. That being said, I hope the Cybertruck succeeds.
I’m in the Cybertruck side. I think Cybertruck attracts new buyers , like me. New truck / pick-up buyers that traditional Truck design did not manage to get or capture.
Thanks for the update close and personal review. It lets you fully visualize this truck. Man, I hate the triangle top! The slop on the back and tiny back window is just awful. I just cannot like this thing.
Nice overview! The Cybertruck has such a great design and features. You have to see it in person to appreciate how cool it is. Videos and pictures don’t do it justice.
It looks like a tank from a PlayStation 1 game. It might be practical but i can't get past the styling. If it was going for Sharp Angeles should've looked towards the Cadillac Cien. Which they would've fully put into production :(
Just saw this vehicle for the first time here in SanDiego's Balboa Park..and man, did it stir up the crowd! Amidst all that gorgeous architecture it looked like it had just dropped out of orbit 😊 in addition although it's driver was nowhere to be seen the Cyber truck entertained on it's own by raising the hood, flashing it's running lights and raising and lowering its windows in sequence and all together😮 Importantly seeing this in pictures months ago does it no justice as it is simply so much more dynamic in person. KUDOS ELON!
