I 100% agree. I’ve said it since I started collecting 2 years ago. I get the old heads and actual ppl who watched Jordan play but most kids and younger ppl growing up buying J’s don’t truly get it or understand the hype of MJ. It’s just hype. Start protroing J’s (like the Kobe’s). Give me that bottom/sole on these in OG colorways. I can personally wear my AJ1’s all day. It’s not mad comfy. They’re just okay. But buttery leather, the right colorways and looks but w/ a comfy sole!!! That’s all I want.

I love the look of these. The reflective properties remind me of the Adidas ZX Flux Xeno. Problem is I've seen horror stories with the front toes creasing really badly. The creasing makes them look horrendous.

I love it the way it is. This is the first pair of Jordan’s I’m considering getting. The reflective coating is what sucked me in, I think it’s dope af. And the bottom color gradient red to blue rubber outsole on the black just looks clean af to me. Seriously obsessed with these

I love this shoe except for the 3m tongue. The colors are so subdued until the light hits it, and then the reflective 3m makes the entire shoe light up. Fun pair to wear for a night out.

Overall I actually love the way the shoe looks (super 80’s/90’s retro-futuristic vibes), but after seeing them in hand, the materials are super cheap feeling. If they could figure out a way to make that reflective material softer I’d probably be all over it.

As a dancer, I love how these are different in the sense of the color variation; DOPE! As an Army Veteran, I was always careful about how I spend my money. These are my first pair of Jordan's ever...didn't know about going up half a size so it is bothersome on my left foot. Having a hard time deciding if to get a different pair of Jordans to actually dance in but I can only imagine that they're extremely comfortable as these are almost perfect.

I would love the zoom in a Air Jordan 4.....while its my favorite silhouette, the 4s aren't too comfortable after wearing for a while same with the previous silhouettes like the 3s, 2s, and 1s but putting zoom in those Jordans without the huge air units such as the 6s would improve their comfort level

I'm just now getting a used pair of these in 2013, but I love the 3M stuff, so I'm pretty stoked to get them. I bought these last month. I’m trying to break them in right now. I love that it’s full zoom air outsole, definitely a lot more comfortable than your normal AJ1, but definitely not loving the padding tongue. As you mentioned, would have been a lot better if it was constructed of nylon. Would have been a lot more comfortable.

They do crease pretty rough but I love mine

I’ve had the all 3M Jordan 1 Alpha back in 2011. Balled pretty hard in them, the support and comfort from 3M was fine for me personally. This pair really brings the nostalgia lol.

They definitely should have been putting full length zoom in their shoes for more comfort. Those being Jordan retro’s and other high priced Nike’s. IMO the 270’s and 720’s weren’t even needed.

Soooo I JUST got my pair on Friday (12/20/19)...i wore mine true to size 12.... The shoes are GORGEOUS on feet! HOWEVER I wore them for the FIRST time to a club/bar place in HTX on 12/21/19....when i got back from the venue....THEY LOOK LIKE I WORE THEM FOR 1 YEAR....nobody stepped on them, I didn’t run a mile, didn’t do a dance routine in them....just general walking/going up and down stairs..... The creasing is the worse I’ve ever seen on a shoe.....ever maybe it has something to do with 3m material IDK FIRST TIME WEARING THEM TOO Just be mindful....if you buy these try to put them on display or something 1st wear WILL FUBAR level crease them....also don’t buy them used off of GOAT either...they will most likely be CREASED to all hell (PS mine were NEW before I wore them)

Just got it on the shelves, it's crazily hard to get OG here, Nike is using very capitalist marketing strategy with conditioned raffle system, so the best way to get it is from re-seller with heavily jacked price. I think it looked cool and the colorway is actually formal with a bit of sheen, but i found out it creases so easily. On comfort i think you nailed it, the front part a bit tight, and it needed some adjustment before it's slightly more comfortable.

I like the direction this shoe is going in, but I don’t feel it’s gone far enough, as you have put, this would be much better if it much more closely matched the OG AJ1s, hopefully that may come in the future. Loved the tech breakdown in this video, also congrats to the Blue member winners 🙌🏻

Bought these in my normal size and they squeeze the shit outa my feet. Not a fan of the 3M but I wanted a black Jordan 1 for the winter and this will work for now.

I always have a pinching on the start of the toes on the first week but nice leather Jordan 1 breaks in nicely in a few days 😊

I just got these gently used for dirt cheap. I already have the Rage Green AJ1 with zoom air and they are fantastic. I dig the reflective too. But about those creases...not a deal breaker but slightly off-putting.

Nike is too smart to include Zoom strobel board in the likes of Chicagos and Breds! They want you to buy both : 1 for comfort and 1 for nostalgia 🙂

Been waiting for these to drop since they were announced. Not a Jordan guy in the slightest (out of the 80+ shoes I own only 1 pair is a Jordan) and I still bought these. I’m a big 3M guy, and a big all over triple Black shoe guy, and if I’m gonna get a Jordan 1 imma need them to be more comfortable, so these are perfect for me. Wish the materials could be slightly better, but I’m fine with it. Can’t wait for the white ones to drop too, cus that another auto cop for me.

Bought these for sure they feel great and they have a big pop!

I would def cop a few pairs if they were made your way. remember back in the day when hoop shoes had hella thick foamy tounges, you never had pinching, these thin tounges are hit or miss depending on the lacing system and or foot shape.

Just picked up a size 13 yesterday. I lately in 1’s wear a 12 because the comfort has come a long way. I took one look at these and knew I would need a 12.5 but that was impossible to buy at a regular price point at this time. So I grabbed a 13 that was extremely hard to find on such a short notice since they’re for a father daughter sneaker ball dance this Saturday. I got them one sale and paid $163.00 after tax. Hope they don’t crease up to bad.

The second I took them out of the box and saw the tongue I was crushed, it looks absolutely disgusting and it's hard to make it look passable. I've never cut a tongue and inserted foam, is that technique possible with these? It's such a huge bummer, what is the reason it looks so cheap?
