You missed Toulouse metro line C at the end ;). We are also getting automated Metroplis train sets.

There is also a contract for new 55, 9 cars Metropolis sets for Cairo Metro in Egypt. Scheduled to be delivered in the next few years starting from 2024.

Will you do a video like this for other major platforms? Like the Alstom X’trapolis, Alstom Citadis or Bombardier Flexity? This one was so well made I keep coming back to it every few weeks.

I probably will do that. It will be on my main channel though (The Transit Diaries) so sub there if you want to see transport videos. This channel is basically defunct as it was more of a test run for something. Glad you enjoy the content. I like the Riccardo shoey :D

Is the X'Trapolis Mega included in the Metropolis platform? If so, you missed Cape Town and Johannesburg at the end ;)

The south Africa Alstoms are pretty nice, I must say. X'trapolis is a separate platform, meant for high frequency regional/commuter service. Meant for services similar to the like of the S-Bahns in Germany, or Paris RER (which actually have xtrapolis sets). Thank you for your feedback!

Is this US FRA approved, for running on lines with freight?
@WikiTransport

No, it's a metro line train. It does run in Canada on light rail tracks however

32 cities use this trains in 2023 ! Athens is scheduled for 2027. 4:05 “…make them a glorified bus…”! What a shame you call it like that- it’s not a “bus”! In general these have reel wheels for security and rails between the rolling boards.

Thanks for the info! The rubber wheels make it kind of like a guided bus way though😂
