This thing is terrible. If the battery dies you need to reprogram it. Otherwise anyone can open. I opened my brothers awesafe, then my girlfriend opened it. Doesnt work. Unsafe garbage. They don't have peristent memory storage to save programmed fingerprint data in the event that the safe loses power. This is how accidents happen.

I just had to get a new replacement safe from them. The battery life on my original was trash. Hoping this replacement is better.

Yikes, what was the time frame on yours? I know mine is still working fine after 4 months.

@@Jakereviewsall , I bought it back in May and I had to change the batteries once a month sense. I reached out because that was getting expensive very quickly. This is my first biometric safe so I was unsure of the battery life expectancy, however I’m pretty sure they should last more than four weeks. I replaced the original with brand new Duracell and then Energizer lithium ion batteries - both sets drained within a month. I just got my replacement safe yesterday, so I’ll let you know how it goes in four weeks. I’m hoping I had a lemon.

@@GSXRlntensity If I remember correctly the batteries are supposed to last for at least a year but more than a month for sure. I havent changed mine yet but batteries do get expensive.
