I have easy to follow and thorough step by step tutorials "do it yourself" (DIY) videos to help you with your broken lawn and garden equipment including snowblowers and zero turn mowers.
I do my best to teach you how to easily diagnose problems the fastest, quickest and most efficient way with real repairs beyond just replacing a spark plug. These tips are for both the homeowner and shop owner.
Whether it be a handheld, two stroke, two cycle engine like a chainsaw, weed eater, weed whacker, string trimmer, grass trimmer, line trimmer, hedge trimmer, strimmer, brush cutter, leaf blower, or four stroke, four cycle units like a lawnmower, wood splitter, lawn tractor, zero turn mower, snowblower, pressure washer, generator or a ride on mower that needs parts installed or replaced, I’m your go-to guy.
My favorite brands of spark plugs are NGK and Champion and are the ones I recommend.
I’ve been a small engine mechanic for many decades and also run my own repair shop so my videos are loaded with tips and tricks that I have learned and want to share with you. You will also find many tool and product reviews from top brands on my channel as well.
I have the largest Small Engine Repair Video Library on RU-vid and the entire internet with over 1200 videos, just GOOGLE "DONYBOY73"!
I want "DON THE SMALL ENGINE DOCTOR" on RU-vid to save you time, frustration and most importantly, MONEY with my HOW-TO videos!

I was actually looking at these this weekend on Amazon. I wasn't sure if I wanted one of these or the higher amperage ones (like 55amps). It's nice to see you getting sponsors, Dony and stuff to try out. Technically, we dropped using acetalyne and moved to using propane on our torch. Much much cheaper, but definitely not hotter or faster (and harder to start). I may very well get one of these because of you.

I picked one of these up this past November at a great discount. It truly is impressive. What would take many minutes now takes a few seconds. With a steady hand or better a guide you can make cuts that would be impossible.

That looks like a nice little plasma cutting machine and it seems to work pretty good. Back a life -time ago I started my first full time job working for an industrial welding supply distributor. The first plasma cutting power source I saw was MUCH larger than that one and you had to use compressed gas cylinders with it. Then the idea of just using compressed air was introduced and inverter technology was introduced so you could have a much more protable machine. Using shop air was a great inovation for sure, but most shop air has water and small amounts of oil and other contaminates so an inline filter was recommended to extend the life of the torch and consumables. This issue may not be as much of a problem now perhaps. Thanks for sharing the video Don...I think any repair shop should have a plasma cutter of some kind. Cheers from NB

It's interesting seeing how some of these tools are getting to the price point that home DIY or individuals can fabricate things that were thought only to be possible if you had enough money to pay a commercial fab to make it for you. Devices like that all in one welder and cutter box you demonstrated recently, the drill-shaped stick welder, 3D printers, small lathes and mills are getting closer into the hands that small makers can do this kind of thing. I recently bought a vacuum desoldering gun that I got to play around with and being just over half the price of the Japanese brand will keep me going for now. The individual parts and consumables are also fairly easy to get a hold of. What capacity of air compressor is required to run it?
