Hi Ken. When you have time, can you speak on Groveland please? Trinity Lakes seems like a real nice community being built by Landsea. What are your thoughts on it? Thank you.
Every time i come down to Orlando, i have realized that many new buildings for rental rather than for sale. Are there expectation for more people moving to Orlando? The only thing that must be improved is labor force and new industries other than hospitality.
Love the episode. Love the shout outs for Celebration. Moving from Illinois down to Florida, Riley hooked us up with a place in Celebration that we are currently renting until retirement in five years! Do you know if any new restaurants will be coming to Celebration? Like the downtown area but it’s always felt like it could definitely use something more a little bit like restaurant Road. Couldn’t catch the live stream but caught the video today at lifetime. Any chance of a lifetime it’s coming down to the area as well? Keep up the great work love it all.
We might. I’m not moving because im not giving up my 3% interest rate mortgage. I just renovated so I can live here happy until the rates go back down.
Does your company deal with rentals as well as purchasing real estate? My family is looking to move down in November! But we are not looking to buy until at all the least a year and a half so I wanted to rent so that we can move around to different neighborhoods.
Personally a big fan of Oviedo. Close to the uni, not too far from the coast/airport/etc. Great older neighborhoods and some new ones. Only downside (if you're a parks fan) is that it's on the farther side from theme parks. Some people prefer that though.
My son is a principal for one of the largest architecture firms in Atlanta. He has been there for over 25 years. And we can always tell how the economy is going by their business. They just layed off many many employees. So ya. Downturn happening. Always can tell if pay cuts and no bonuses will happen.
Sounds right the guys at the very top have to protect there bonus number one way is to lay off employees and keep the money for themselves. Unfortunately
It was my favorite too but they didn’t close because of Covid, they were running fine. Their employees had several complaints and decided to unionize . The owners didn’t care and just ended up closing the place. Just an all around sad story.
People will be underwater with their homes. Just remember 2008. Orlando got hit pretty bad. Look what is happening with the auto industry. Those who did buy a vehicle in 2021-22 are finding out that they are overpaid big time and trapped. Add unemployment to the mix, and boom bubble will burst. 😢
The best time to buy a home is when you can afford to. Don’t try and time the market. Only buy when it makes financial sense too everyone should have an opportunity to own something for themselves and pass to future generations.
