I can tell this is an old video because there are no C7 Z06’s for under 65K nowadays. They are all like 80K now and up unless they got tons of miles on them.

Before tax ? Here in Germany they don’t even sell em’..... I’m planing to buy this autumn the MY20 Cramro’ 2SS for 55k euro tax included. Officially we get only one the 2SS here but without the active exhaust. Would you say that’s to much for 2SS Camaro ?

SL600 Mercedes ?? They tank in value like a stock market crash. Had a CLK convertible was a 75K car new sold it for 4K with 115K miles on it!!

The C7 Z06 is actually going up in value. I bought mine 3 years ago for 73K now they are 80K all day long.

I assumed that when the C8’s hit the streets the C7 value would plummet but since there are very few C8’s produced compared to 2014 numbers people are grabbing up the C7’s. I love my C7 and not interested in buying the C8; not that a person could even find one priced reasonably.

I picked up a 2017 Z06 2LZ in July 2019 with the automatic and with only 1595 miles on it for 67,400. It is an Admiral Blue coupe with Chrome wheels and I love it. Added a six year warranty, when it is close to expiring I will add a Procharger to push the hp up to 825.

The one I'm looking at, 5/19/2023, is a 2016 Z06 3LZ convertible with a lot of carbon (not sure if it has the Z07 Package) with 39,120 miles. I might pull the trigger. I really like the car.

With that amount I would try to buy a loaded out C7 Z06 that someone else has taken the hit on and this because I could not get the C8 I want for the money. Low mileage used that is taken care of is better on the wallet than new.

Its fairly simple : True Muscle car - Dodge twins (SP or HC) True Sport car - C7 Corvette GS or Z06 (7 speed) We can skip the odd looking Camaro & Mustang (minus GT350 due to that 5.2L Vodoo engine)

I never imagined a global pandemic creating parts and labor shortages would happen, let alone last more than the two weeks needed to “flatten the curve.” Either way the C7 is still a fantastic car. After attending the NCM Bash last month I’ve found that a lot of folks still prefer the traditional front engine design. Most folks that I asked said they would not consider purchasing a C8. However, the majority of the people I met prefer to drive long distances and like the open rear storage area for travel. Irregardless now is a good time to buy…. but not finance.

You mentioned you had issues with the PowerStop brake pads. I have a '19 Grand Sport and swapped out the pads for the PowerStop carbon ceramic. I find they don't bite as hard as the OEM pads but work well and the dust is nill. I bougth a set of ZR1 wheels that are forged spun with the AS3+ tires so hopefully I won't experience the wheel cracking issues. Will track on the stock wheels later this year.

They go as low as 54k with under 25k miles(yes c7 Z06, all trims) on the odometer so most definitely best car under 65K

Well I bought it. A 2016 Z06 3LZ convertible automatic in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. It is awesome, and just a little cheaper than a C8 Z06.

Substantial depreciation hit. High insurance. Low gas mileage - 15 mpg is wishful thinking. More like 13 mpg. The positive: Passes everything on the road except a gas station.

Nice upload RP, but I have to correct you on the C7 Vert. You don't "take the top off," you put the top down. 😉 Also, it's not a 3ZR, it's a 3LZ, but we know what you meant. FWIW, this vert would look good in anyone's garage AND on the road, but your price is high. Save the Wave.🙋‍♂️

I've owned a 1988 Corvette Z51, a 1991 Corvette ZR-1 (pretty awesome) and a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V (also awesome). Oh, and a 2013 Audi S5 cabriolet Prestige. That little supercharged 6 cylinder gets up and goes. I'm currently looking to buy a 2016 Corvette, convertible Z06 with the ZL3 package. All are great cars, even your ZL1 Haha!
