I’m strongly considering the woc. I’ve liked it for a very long time and am of the mindset that I only want to add one classic black evening bag to my wardrobe and keep it literally forever. Other luxury wocs like ysl and Gucci are about half the price, but I’d rather skip out on that and put that chunk of money toward the bag I really want.
I completely agree. What I've realized after building up my bag collection is that if you have fewer select pieces you absolutely love and use all the time it beats having a large collection of items that you bought because of the lower price and not because you love it. Of course, the collection has to align with your budget but I think it's part of the fun. The WOC is really flexible and if you truly love the style over the other ones, I say go for it!

Every aspect you had on the subjects of this video were accurate in my opinion. Chanel finally contacted me last week and of course they only had 1 available in quilted caviar black/silver after waiting months for a new shipment. This has to be the classiest and most versatile bag I’ve bought for my wife this year. Prices definitely went up, after taxes it came out to $3145.44 (NJ) “yesterdays price is not todays price” - Fat Joe.

Just discovered ur channel thru this video. Love how you speak: clear and excellent diction! I have had Chanel WOC for many years now and it is super useful for work events where I have to be hands-free like managing conferences and exhibitions, also good for helping with relatives' weddings. But since the pandemic, it has been sitting pretty on the shelf :)

I’m so glad that translated well over video! That’s a great point it’s a very good hands free bag when managing events because it doesn’t get in the way when your wear it crossbody. I also haven’t gotten as much use out of it either since the pandemic as we are all attending fewer events but hopefully as everything is opening up now there will be more opportunities as it really is a beautifully crafted bag/wallet.
I had an appointment scheduled for the 14th of this month. I was going to buy the WOC, but after seeing it in person..I decided the current price makes the bag underwhelming😭 I purchased a medium classic flap instead

I’m 6’2 and I got this bag only because of the length. Most bags I cannot wear crossbody but I can with this one. I still agree that’s it’s longggg. I love it!!
Hi there! This bag would work great on you then. I'm 5' 7" and although it's a bit long, its still easily workable because you can adjust the straps to the way you like it. Glad you love your WOC too :)
Super informative video! Looking to purchase one as a gift. I also cross back and forth between Canada/US. Any advice on which side may have a better price or stock? Do you have to "build up rapport" with the Chanel SA in Canada?

This was so concise! Love. I’m trying to choose between the woc or the mini rectangular fun color to balance out my curated collection. I’m thinking the mini rectangular will hold more and still be crossbody for weddings etc
Hi there Stacy! I’m so glad you liked the review ☺️. For me I picked the WOC because it fit all my essentials and I typically don’t bring too much to errands or events outside of a lipstick, phone and cards. If you find you need to fit more than what I’ve shown in my video, then it may be more worth it to consider a rectangular flap bag. Keep in mind because WOC has built in card holders, the mini would have less space available than you might think because you would need to put a small wallet or cardholder inside. I’m also looking for a fun color to round out my collection as well so I’ll be interested to hear what you get!
That was awesome that you mentioned skin tones. I have neutral skin but more pink than gold. Does that mean I could go either way or what are your thoughts?
Typically with a pink undertone silver looks better, so it would depend how much of a pink undertone you have. I have mostly a yellow undertone with a bit of red and I find gold jewlery suits me best

Haha great point, it depends on a number of factors really. Have you watched my video on building the perfect bag collection? You might get some good ideas on how to decide on your next bag. In general when it comes to style the Hermes is much more understated than the Chanel, so it fully depends on your style. In my personal opinion, I prefer the WOC because I love the easy access to items in the back pocket and I don’t like the fact the Kelly has the divider in the middle I want flexibility to fit more in my bag/wallet. @@StylemeWorthit I own an Hermes Herbag31 (it’s a dupe lol) as much as I love it I do find it annoying to get in and out of and I’d always have the little arms hanging out because Im too lazy to fully close it, I didn’t really think about that with the Kelly to go, I’ll be walking around with it’s little arms sticking out haha 😂 now I’m for sure leaning towards the WOC

Hi Shirley, in general I prefer the black because it is most versatile and classic. I find the colored versions can be difficult to style with an everyday look. It's always been my policy to never buy the same item twice in a different color. I prefer buying it in a different style or brand so that it is unique. Otherwise I find that you end up using one more than the other, and you can get bored with them.

Since the video was posted, the resale prices have caught up with retail prices so I don't see any more of those going for that price now unfortunately. The best way to keep ahead of opportunities to buy at a lower price on the vintage market is tuning in to when there is major price jumps in retail and purchasing right before that happens. I’ve actually gotten several comments from husbands that bought the bags I’ve reviewed for their wives and loved it! You can take a look through the comments section I think one or two other husbands mentioned their experience below.
I normally say what is worthwhile to your wife depends on her style, but I will say that the saddle bag is not perhaps not as practical or as easy to use, while the Chanel Wallet on Chain is more versatile and holds its value very well. The saddle bag is also more of a vintage style, while Chanel bag is more classic and can be used for dressier occasions.
Thanks for your video, I have been debating between a Classic Flap or a WOC. I always prefer and gravitate toward crossbody bags more 🥲 However I really love the Classic Flap too
That's a tough decision! Probably the main questions you wanna ask yourself is how much do you plan on fitting in your bag and what do you want to use it for? I find WOC can transition between many occasions but fits less, while the Chanel classic flap can fit much more but works less with very casual outfits. Having the WOC as crossbody is very convenient! I started with the WOC before the classic flap as well because I wanted to see how I felt about the quality of their bags before I went all in on the classic flap, it is quite a bit of investment.
