I heard Christians are now saying that the God of the Old Testament was/is actually Jesus, I want to know what the Rabbi thinks about that claim.

Jesus is the reincarnation of Adam, that is why he says he was here before Abraham. It is also the reason he was able to forgive sins, because Adam was given all authority on the Earth. Adam, David, and Messiah are all reincarnations. Mark 2:10 "I want you to know that the Son of Man (Adam) has authority on earth to forgive sins.”

The Jewish story then, today and tomorrow..we live because of Jesus that's the story...because of Him we are still living and breathing, we still exist because of Him otherwise the atheist pagan world would have destroyed as long ago. because of Him we the Jews have a purpose in life .. The Jewish notion of Messiah was not considered divine ("God") if you ask Jewish scholars today. Nor even the "Son of God". The idea that one's Soul is "God" comes from the east, closer to the roots of Hinduism. One variant of Hinduism, called Advaita Vedanta, comes closest to what Jesus represented. Famous for its mantra "I AM", it taught that the soul was Brahman, which is the most high "God", so to speak, but also the only existing "God". This is like a round peg that "Judaizers" tried to force into the square holes of Judaism. This functionally destroys the effectiveness of what Jesus was teaching through his parables and his actions. His actions could be called parodies, which are parables told through actions. The crucifixion was a parody, as was also his resurrection. His parodies told a much bigger story involving the beginning, the status quo, and the end of this world. "I am the alpha and the omega" means his soul, or at least a wandering aspect of it, is responsible for the beginning and the end of the world ("this world"). This is told again, in more detail, through the parable of the prodigal son. It's through these parables that he is thought to be the "son of God", but it must be understood that the soul, in its original condition, is not higher than Brahman, but also not lower, existing as "one" with all that is "I AM" . The story of the prodigal son describes the beginning and ending of this world. The crucifixion describes the status quo, or what the parable calls a "pig sty". The resurrection is how (the way) the prodigal son returns home. If you also understand how/why Jesus equates death and sleeping, then you can understand that the resurrection is like an awakening, while this world describes a state of sleep, which includes the dream of death. So no, Jesus was not the Jewish Messiah, rather , his soul was much more than they ever expected. Christians have made the mistake of transubstantiation of body and soul, but the Bible is clear that the spirit is at enmity with the flesh and this will not change through any kind of magical reconciliation. The soul is true. The flesh is not. More exactly, the soul is "the truth", meaning everything else is a "lie" of sorts. "Of sorts" because the lie, all lies, are manifestations of self-deception. That includes "this world". To extrapolate the parody further, time is like a tomb for a dead Christ (the Soul). People, then, are technically "dead". But if we are willing to accept that we are "dead with Christ", then we prepare ourselves to also accept our awakening (resurrection) with Christ. Because of the overriding principle (law) of oneness, there is not more than 'one" Christ that is dead and buried. As separate unique people, we are 'dead". But the more we accept and receive the law of oneness, the more we are ready to resurrect (wake up) as Christ. But if we continue to reject our soul as equal to Brahman ("I Am"), then we remain dead/asleep. The end of this world arrives, then, when we accept our fate, which is to accept Christ as our Self. That is the day of Resurrection or the Grand Awakening. There is no higher Living Being than Christ, but also there is no lower. Indeed there is no other other Living Being other than Christ. Logically, either you are Christ, or you don't exist. Self-deception is the only way to reject this, and substitute another "self" in Christ's place. As such, "this world" and it's growing numbers of other selves, represents a dead and/or sleeping Christ which dreams of a self that is entirely fraudulent. It is not Christ, therefore, who substitutes for us, but rather we who substitute for Christ. While we maintain this status quo, we are effectively crucified, dead, or dying. We reverse self-deception through "Truth", more specifically Truth about our one Self. That's the way Jesus went if we were inclined to 'follow". As such, Jesus, nor Christ (our Soul) fits into Judaism, not even as it's Messiah. Because pop (popular) Christianity is an extension of Judaism, neither Jesus, nor Christ (our Soul) fits within Christianity. This message continues to be rejected at the doors of most any gathering calling itself a "church". But those doors shall not prevail in the long run. Time will eventually run out (end). This message is more likely to be accepted by small groups of three, two, or one. As such, it is still "underground" compared to the broad paths that large groups stumble upon.

His "Name" shall be called emmanuel.... The works he does reveals the "name" behind it all. On earth he is given a personal name like us all, but by the name he lives up to reveals the Father he works for. If I came from a family of builders, I would be raised up to follow in thier footsteps, and by the work I do will reflect the detail of my Father's, if however I skipped some detail and the finish work was not up to scratch, then my work will not reflect my forefathers, I have then degraded my Father's name. What name do we live up to. Is it egoistic, or free? The chosen one is within us all, yet its overshadowed, cloaked in a veil. Remove the veil and your face will shine for the world to see, the light of the world who lives in me.

All that depends on how actually serious you are about obeying Jewish law... Under Jewish law whoever sits on the throne of David is Lord God of Israel... The act of being the king makes you a god. As in whoever is the king of Jerusalem according to Jewish law is the creator made flesh or they couldn't hold the rank of king of Jerusalem in the first place... Because only God himself can define who is and who is not King of Jerusalem and it is a sign that whoever is the king is the literal representation of the unphysical made physical. Because the idea is there's only the one God but the same singular God inhabits all of the different bodies of the kings of Jerusalem... Making that individual God by default of being inhabited by God. The difference with Jesus is Jesus wasn't inhabited Jesus simply just was... That's the difference...

No doubt that Jesus is God. Read Mark 14:60-61, Daniel 7:13-14, Matthew 16:27 & Matthew 24:30-31. And Jesus said, For My Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life and I will raise them up at the last day (John 6:40). So whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life. For God's wrath remains on them (John 3:36). So, no human beings or any Prophets can give us eternal life and will raise us up at the last day, only God alone. And Jesus said, For no one who does a miracle IN MY NAME can in the moment say anything bad about Me (Mark 9:38-40). So, no prophets can give miracles in their names, only our Lord Jesus Christ. Moses and all other prophets were just receiving a miracle from God, but they cannot give miracles in their names. Only God alone. Therefore no doubt that JESUS IS GOD.

The Messiah was to be a human. However, normal humans are all imperfect. An angel son of God was transformed into a human and placed in Mary's womb. Micah 5:2. Not having any genetic connections with imperfect humans, this son of God could be perfect. Adam brought death to all of us. Jesus paid off the penalty and made a way to ransom humans from this dying state. Jesus was never God. Jesus was made into God under Satan's influence. Romans 1:25.
