Is the Denon LC6000 Actually Worth it? 

At $500, yes…worth the price. At 700…

Can’t compare them to rane 12 at all, those have moving platters. Coming from pioneers I think these are nice but a bit steep at $699 I bought them in excellent shape for $250 each. I do like them, the platters are a bit stiff but I can live with it.

This is cool for the people that like to use 4 player's.

There is the layer button for a reason 🤔 its stupid to pay 5,6,700 dollars for a upgrade u dont need

My question is why by standalone prime 4 for 1500 and still use serato u could got some thing 300 dollars did same thing if I get the prime to I'm using pc with it

Makes sense if you have a single SC6K/6KM. An M version makes absolutely zero sense because all the M versions of the SC's run $200 more than their static platter counterparts so now we're talking $900 to have control over the 2nd layer. Why oay that when you can get a brand new 5000M for $800. Makes even less sense if you're going to use it for Serato for a unit that would be nothing more than an updated Numark V7. Not to mention they'd be treading on Rane Twelve money & they'd just be competing with themselves.

If you can get it less than retail....yes. I waffled over it for about a week. Prior to it's release we were talking about and anticipating it's release on the Forum for nearly a year. I was soooo amped about having separate physical control over the 3rd deck (I only use the 2nd layer on deck 2). The price REALLY shocked me. Personally I think it should be no more than $500. But, I've changed my mind. I am NOW going to buy one LC6000 to control that 3rd Deck. $630 (the price I've managed to secure one for) is better than buying another full SC6000 @ $1375.
