I've never had a Mora rattle in its sheath and I own many of them. Some of them I use most days. I suppose I could put a pebble in the sheath to get that effect but otherwise just no.

I have one of these. Only thing I wish was the steel was a bit thicker. The tip will bend with very lite use. And I mean with smart use of the tip. Other than that it’s an excellent blade. Make no mistake the Ganzo as is, the knife is not better than a Mora or Holtsafor.

And what is better, pear or apple?🤣 It's a completely different knife. In some respects it is better and in others worse than morakniv and hultafors. For working with wood, scandi is best, but for other things, flat sand is better. For me, Mora (Scandi) complements Opinel (full flat) perfectly. Ganzo is a compromise between morakniv and opinel. Mora is better for bushcraft, but for normal tourist use (sharpening sticks, cutting meat and vegetables) Ganzo will be better. Although Mora also has a great hiking knife - Kansbol (2000)

OFC this isn't a Mora replacement, hell it's not even a bushcraft knife perse, no scandi-grind or convexed edge. It's a great utility fixed blade alternative if you don't like using folders. Would beat the Mora hands down in tasks like food prep and cardboard slicing with it's high and narrow saber grind, not to mention easier sharpening compared to the less conventional scandi-grind. Get one of each and have the best of both worlds.

I totally agree that the Benchmade knives are way overpriced. I do not think there is any knife that can beat the Mora at the same exact price range.

Benchmade is theft. No way any of their knives are worth the price.

Agreed! For consistency and quality, it is hard to beat the Mora at that price point!

If for some reason I found myself starting from scratch gear wise and on a budget, you could do worse than buying the Ganzo. Many years ago I had no idea about Scandinavian grinds and would have preferred the Ganzo over the Mora. Not everyone is a huge fan of the Scandi grind for every use and it's good there's a budget option out there without one.

I don’t have that one, but it looks like it might be a nice inexpensive neck knife, more for back up. I completely agree that Benchmade is way overpriced. I’d rather buy several SAKs for the price of one Benchmade folder. Thanks for sharing 😊

Thank you for this! I was not aware that it was a copy of a benchmade knife.

Swedish steel vs China steel.

Top-grade Chinese steel is good. But no way of knowing if this is top-grade.

Swedish plastic vs. Chinese plastic. Never seen a Mora grip get so easily bunged-up.
