GS have three compelling movements, you have to include the high beat as well. If they are able to put the tentagraph into a smaller package that would be good. Hopefully 2024 will be the year of the braclet! If they fix that I will have a 9F GMT in my collection, I like it on the Artem strap, really works.
Picked this up today, your review really helped and for me it’s perfect as I exclusively wear my watches on straps and was lucky enough to get a very unique grand Seiko strap / buckle thrown in as part of the deal
I just Bought the SBGN029 and Love the Quartz movement by GS, I also am waiting for The limited edition Spring Drive SBGE305 GMT. SO I am very much looking forward to acquiring that piece. I’m sure I will love it equally.
Good question, to be honest I don’t mind it as a whole. It’s definitely not setting the world on fire and I can see why some people really don’t like it (some would say the bracelet maybe at odds with the case), but I like the finishing.
I had the 003 and the bracelet was pretty good. Maybe the best of the 15 or so GS I have owned. Yes, it would be better with micro adjust on the fly, but it is the only GS that I did wear on the bracelet. That said, the Artem and this swatch were made for each other and I am shortly to push the button on the 027 after seeing them matched on this video.
I picked this up and was torn between my local UK AD or a Japanese grey dealer to save a bit. However having been screwed by the grey market previously I went to my local AD. Paying 200 / 300 pounds more to get that piece of mind is worth it to me.
