Dude, i've been trying to tell this to people since 2017. Everyone thought i was crazy. Its too easy to do and, a lot of people with motive have the resources to do it. They can reshape the beliefs of an entire generation in like 5 years if you capture them in their early teen years
The best way to test the dead internet is to simply google something and you will realize it’s the same exact search result page after page and it’s not as many pages as it used to be

If you would have known about this in 2016 you would know this was the exact theory that was posed. There are hundreds of thousands of videos that talk solely about this topic, nothing about bots. This whole bot story started in 2021. Go look up any old video about the dead internet.
Like when it says 500 pages / results worth but really you can only get to like page 87 once you start narrowing it down further. Google bots just don’t index the same way like they used to. Even DuckDuckGo which is based on Bing is bad these days. Sadly Yandex, tho obviously showing a lot of Russian sites and forums too, seems to index the real clear net still

What Shultz is forgetting is that the social media company’s know, that users engage with content that evokes negative feelings, anger, jealousy, aggression wayyy more then content that makes you happy or joyful or any positive feelings towards it.
Schultz is one of my favorite dudes to listen to about conspiracy theories. He allows the conversation to go into the absurd but also does a great job of steel-manning the arguments.

It's a double edged sword, it's important to have a critical world view not just towards the internet but its also getting to the point where truth and objectivity are losing their meaning. We're losing our bearings because we are overwhelmed by information and we know some or most of it is false or manipulative. This catch 22 just makes us more divided and easier to manipulate and skeptical of objective truth even when we do hear our see it. Adrift in the ocean without a compas.

I felt like I was being gangstalked after smoking meth for months in sf. It didn’t happen right away but over time and slowly my reality started to shift. I wasn’t smoking it religiously I was actually more of a downer person. The dark people I had become surrounded with all smoked the shit. The best way I can explain it is like being in a dark timeline. It takes you to a place mentally and spiritually that is super dark. The things I experienced were real because they were real to me. Chemicals and drugs hold conscious and meth was used heavily in World War II. There’s a dark energy that is very real and I wouldn’t discount anyone who says they have been gangstalked after what I experienced. It’s like you’ve let your vibration go low that they can literally feed on your fear so they follow you around to scare you. I truly believe these people are demonic and probably aren’t human. I felt like I was being hunted for sport. I actually moved away from San Francisco because I was so afraid of what I was experiencing. It was all really subtle weird shit but all the signs were there that if I stayed something horrible was going to happen to me. Sex trafficking and organ harvesting were the vibes I was heavily feeling and I’m a very highly intuition and smart girl. They have to karmically tell you what they are going to do to you before they do it. You have to decide if you want to save yourself, I’m literally coming up on four years sober from all that nasty stuff and I still believe I was being followed by some form of intelligence and for what reason I’m really not sure. My mission was to spread a lot of love and I felt like that was not welcome. God bless anymore for reading this especially if you did with an open mind. Peace be with you 🩵

The 4 digit thing was a change with how RU-vid usernames work. Now all account names must be unique, they added numbers to duplicated usernames. This was an otherwise good talk though. Reminded me a bit of the old days.
when I was younger google results would be 1000s of pages and you could scroll through them and they would all be different hits... now you google anything and maybe 1 or 2 pages are legit links and sites, the rest is the first 2 pages repeated the rest is fake and won't load

Then millennials got online in the late 90s early 00s which was part 2. 2010's went social media meltdown and the Internet has been dead for a long while. It is not a small percent. Me and my buddy have shared videos and showed each other’s comment section. We had very different comments on same video. *is it possible that people pay for allot of views and the views need comments also so if anything I think it’s lazy marketing/ sales teams and cheap out sourced stream farm/ ai bots
I noticed the odd names immediately on the more controversial videos. Even on FB there are groups that post the most ridiculous divisive stuff and cause major arguments and all the folks that support those posts have weird profiles and many of them have "follow" next to their names. Too much of a coincidence.

Yeah the profile pics are old, fake people. Also generic cover photo. They’re usually really aggressive, for no rational reason, and they pop up most often in politics
