Is the Jumbo 76 still good?! 

Thank you for being the only CC to say the jumbo 76 is overtiered. All the other CCs are like oh we rack up kills with it (forgetting they're better than the majority of players) so it must be balanced. Oxy had the worse take ever in his vids saying the reactionary factor for it's armor makes it 6.3 material(which there is none since pretty much every cannon past 6.3 lol pens it but hey he sold out quite obviously) which is the same thing we've said bout the Panthers. I've died so many times to panthers cause I have to line up specific weak spots while they lol pen.

I would not disagree except the L3 can be exceedingly difficult to get kills while using. I would agree with Locust, Tetrarch, or, my favourite for such a challenge, the Squeezy Boi.

Ram II is so good in a downtier. I love just driving zig zag at people and bouncing a dozen shots. 6pdr just shreds everything you can see too, even without HE filler.

I have about 1000 kills in the m4a1 76 and like 700 of them are tiger 2’s The tiger 2 should probably be at 6.7 like the t26e5 idk what it’s doing at 6.3 with that long 88

the problem that gaijin refuses to acknowledge is that the average 76 jumbo player is 10x better than the average Jagdpanther player, and the problem has only gotten worse now that only people who really like the jumbo are playing it at 6.3.

@@XSpamDragonX I have 4,5 KD ratio on Jumbo after 1900 games. They moved it to 6.3 because of me I guess xD I had lot of games with over 20 kills with it so they problably check logs and recon hmm, that tonk must be OP lets nerf it xD I never played Jumbo after BR change, its much more pain than fun now. I played Bigel after that change so they moved Bigel to 9.3, now I play AGS so they will change it to 11.0 soon xD

Take the stabilizer and the Jumbo can be at 5.7 , this Stab is a huge advantage .

@@5co756 The stab is an advantage* or are we going to take the german's incredibly stable suspension while we're at it? something that gets conveniently ignored by every dip that brings up HURR DURR BUT STABILIZER The thing is, the jumbo has a stabilizer and that's the only thing that makes it good, it's gun is mediocre. It's armour is very easy to deal with if you have more than 2 working braincells, it's mobility is about on par with a Panther A which has better armour and a better gun.

@@Gary_The_Metro As I said , take the stab from the Jumbo and put it at 5.7 . It's at 6.3 cause of the stabilizer , gun barrel shooting on the move . Most maps in WT are close combat , with Panther's you can't drive and shoot . That's just a luck shot .

@@antonklein4339 im actually serious because great guns and armor dont matter when you're uptiered, and the jumbo has soft factors that make it more meta. its smaller, faster, has a stabalizer, has the reload advantage, has a faster turret, and most maps in the game are urban brawlers not long range sniper maps. (and by faster, i mean its more nimble. it accelerates and pivots better than the other two, and as such it gets around the maps quicker; outside of downhill straight line drag races) is the tiger 2 better in a full downtier? maybe, but have you noticed how they never get downtiers? jumbos get them every other battle. tiger2's get a downtier maybe once in every 10 hours of play.

German mains would start crying over being held to the same standards as every nation. This is litterally a shittier panther.

@@petermeinholz6087Not only that, but they litterally get ATGM vehicles at 7.3, and still cry about how Germany suffers or some shit. The only ATGMs America gets, are shitty gun launcher ATGMs at 8.0 M113 APC's with TOW missiles never get added to the American lineup apparently. The only one that does, ends up being a premium basically. The allouete also used to be the same BR as the AH1Z, despite having ATGMs while the AH only had mighty mouses. The leopard is faster, has the same gun as the M60, more stable, lower profile, and litterally better in every way to the M60, but the Leopard used to sit at 7.0 (now 7.3), while the M60 sits at 7.7 (often uptiered to 8.7). The m60 armour is also improperly modelled while the Leopards isnt. The german M48 used to also be at a lower BR than the American M48, even though the German one was straight up superior. German mains get coddeled by gaijjin and play like litteral toddlers, only to be rewarded for it.

@@curtsauce3947 It isn't rediculous to say in the slightest, the 76mm M1 was a stopgap gun between the short 75 and the 90mm. Even the crews hated the thing. It didnt have the HE effect the short 75mm did for anti-infantry and for tanks where the 75mm couldnt penetrate them, it still couldn't penetrate.

@@corrodan2995 The point is that from a balancing perspective, other nations get medium/heavy tanks with thicker armour and over 200mm of pen, but U.S. doesn't even have tank destroyers that can do that. The closest we get is the m41 shooting a crappy little apds that germany gets a better version of anyway.

@@curtsauce3947 If that is the correct performance then yes. Even at the 127mm it would still be adequate enough. Every nation has its weakspots, around this BR for the US it would be innadequate to alright guns. This is made up for by most of the US vehicles having short stabilizers. But at the BR the gun is comparable in penetration to all other guns it is introduced with. If the penetration was reduced, things like the jumbo 76 would go down, and perform overall better.

and what do you propose the 75mm one's BR is? it was 5.7 maybe a couple of years ago and the 75mm was at 4.7 and it was so ridiculously strong..

Average German bias supporter. It’s a fact that the tiger 2h is suffering. Look at it, can’t even pen a jumbo upper front plate from 5km away. How are we supposed to cope with that? It should really be 5.0max. And I’m not even going to start talking about the Panther which is facing tanks instead of battle ships, that’s a direct insult to history.

I really like the 76 Jumbo honestly. It's better armored than the Panther and T-44 and since it has decent mobility the gun is good enough to get the job done if you know how to use it.

It's not even a fat sherman lol, it's just a sherman with the correct amount of mobility. As gaijin loves to do they nerfed the shit out of the shermans, they currently have less mobility than the panther A and are about comparable to the panther D G and F, only the jumbos still have their original mobility. And when I say mobility I don't mean max speed, I mean their actual mobility such as power to weight ratio. And of course, the m4a3 having had it's turret speed nerfed into the ground, nowadays you're better off playing 5.3 if you want to play the US, or going straight to 6.0 unless you really love the m18. 5.7 is just a bad BR right now.

@@Gary_The_Metro they need to lower the M18 to 5.3. I can't stand how it's the only US tank (besides the last 76 Sherman I think) that's at 5.7. I just want to have it fit into a good lineup cuz I love it so much.

What good is the stabiliser if your cannon is a potato launcher against the thick armor of a German tank? Meanwhile German mains do not have to play Surgeon Simulator with weak spots and can mostly point and click to get kills. And yes, I've tried both German and US tanks and would say that Germany is wayy easier, except for the braindead teammates.

@@M8M8ss in the literal start of the game the stabilizer shows it's purpose, sure German tanks are easier to play but your performance in them still is low compared to their American counterpart, the only tanks I would agree are OP in the German tree are the tiger IIs and the jagdpanther.

@@crusher1080 The thing is, at low tiers US tanks get solid shot rounds. There's a great lack of APHE except for the tank destroyers which do not possess stabilisers. Meanwhile German tanks constantly get stock APHE rounds which have excellent penetration capabilities and can consistently one-shot a tank, unlike solid shot rounds. Sure, shermans get APHE, but it doesn't come stock and is not as powerful as that of the panzer 4s.

Umm no?I always one shot Jumbos with my Jagdpanther and King Tiger without any problem.Jumbo 76 is a 5.7 tank period it belongs to the same BR as Panthers and Tiger Is.
