I like Bobby’s review is because he always tend to give some nice automobile info out of the car reviewing section. He is been consistent on his way of review. Good job. Don’t change like what other car reviewer does. They changes their reviewing format once they start to get more well known.
having the left and right camera appear in the screen once the signal/indicator lever is being utilized is a godsend.. forcing drivers to use the signal! thankyou designer/ideaperson
The only people who says this car are not worth it are purely ignorant. They don't know jack about Korean brands nor do they actually care even if it's built to their "standards". It's either the common myths about Korean brands that are purely exaggerated, or "my uncle's grandpa daughter boss's husband son's mom had a 2003 Kia, it's bad so all Korean cars are bad". Don't listen to these people.
Their cars are definitely nice and premium especially now,but the price is way too ridiculous. If you directly convert using exchange rate, you can get this car in Korea for rm150k, Now bermaz is selling for 250k. In what way is this worth it??
aiya its just too expensive lah. Just like the new axia 2023 AV selling at RM50,000, to many its just too expensive, but imagine if it sells at rm40,000, instantly becomes worth it.
Ya true what bobby said. 20 years back Camry 2.4 priced around 170K but now 210K. There are many reasons like ringgit drops, CBU taxation, it has modern engine with full safety features, bells and whistles compared to the older Camry. Don't understand people complain just for the sake of brand comparison.
I understand that this is a diesel but the price point is almost at Toyota Harrier level. How does it compare with the Harrier in terms of ride and build quality?
Kia and Hyundai have overheating transmission problem if fitted eith dct type when on rough use like off road as tested in the US by several reviewers.
All wheel drive vs front wheel drive .and the gearbox are differents too, dct and e shift.that’s the difference between carnival and sorento.thats why the difference of the prices .you got more and more safety at the rainy days.life is priceless Bobby.and i so glad you don’t test the car from china.those are rubbish!
By just sitting inside. I honestly like the touch points, low and flat dashboard. It feels like a very solid build quality. I didn't test drive it, too big for me. Going in and out is easy. On the cost of living... Yeah some ppl just don't want to know about scale of economics, inflation, RM against USD, min wage, increasing cost. They just keep on holding on the statement made years ago. They don't care that it is not relevant anymore. It is getting tougher to buy a new car. What is value for my money? Difficult question.
Like your video! I'm keen to buy cx8 diesel variant, how would you compare this with cx8?and another concern will diesel car value drop significantly for selling in future?
For this price point and ckd I guess at least the 1.6 turbo hybrid should be introduced with ventilated seats and sun roof. But none of those are available to shout luxury and priced similarly to a harrier... not sure what the dealer have in mind tho, it is already tough trying to sell Korean cars but yet the margin they set to sell is so high...
Nice video bobby, the Kia Sorrento, viewed in isolation, possible SUV choice for most families, but in comparison to existing competition in Malaysian market.... would rather go for a Mazda cx8 2.2 diesel...imho
If i needed a 7 seater... I would get a Nissan Serena. If I don't wow... Too many too choices. Yes, for the price it is quite high. Like Bobby said, really tough buy/sell
