Kia Sorento 2.2 Diesel 2023 [Genting Climb] Which to Choose, Diesel or Gasoline? | YS Khong Driving 

The interior looks pretty luxurious . I am surprise how well the car handles the corners and the speed going uphill seems very effortless .I think after this review , this car sales with go up ! Great driving Uncle !

I have the GT line diesel Sorento in Australia. It is almost 2 years old now with 55,000 kms. I love this car so much. There is nothing about this car I wish it had. I have tested the autonomous ability of the car with me alone in it. I put something on the steering wheel to fool the car I had my hand on it. It drove for 90kms by itself at 110kms/h along the express way. It does rely heavily on the quality of the centre and side markings/lines of the road. I consistently get over 900kms (939 - 979) range from a tank of fuel, either town driving or highway. I always had V6 petrol cars before this diesel. Wow, I wished I had the diesel many years ago. Better fuel economy and much punchier driving. Great torque from the engine, even towing 1 ton in a trailer. I fitted a dongle and now have wireless Android auto.

Even Some Korean Cars Brand Haters Say Kia Sorento Is Expensive Not Worthy But For Me It Is Very Worth For Money Even More Expensive Than Japan Because Korean Cars Have More Reliable And Looks More Solid And Premium When Handling.👍🏻

Currently owning 2015 Santa Fe Diesel … already satisfied with its performance, so effortless to pick up the pace, going uphills with no sweat. I appreciate Hyundai/Kia continuing 2.2 diesel engine in their cars… judging from the video I can see how much refined the Kia Sorento is. Thanks for the video uncle! 👍🏻👍🏻

I am from Sri Lanka and must be of your age. I have an older 2.2 AWD Diesel model. Can you remember how often you said "good car'' and "nice". Those expressions said everything about this car. I also felt the power of the car the way you were driving. Often I drive fast but as not as you especially when taking corners. Thank you for this superb video. Wow, 440Nm torque masuk awal 4.5Krpm nice sama lebih kurang dgn engine Rio YB 1.4L 133Nm torque masuk awal 4Krpm. Sistem safety Kia/Hyundai semakin advance, Kia global price sudah naik lebih 17%. Smooth engine diesel 2.2T x bising teruk bila layan bukit. Carnival full tank can go maximum 1.2Kkm I think sorento can go long distance 1Kkm. But the price mahal teruk 😅. Steady uncle 👌

This Kia has a higher torque vs petrol. I would go for the diesel.

Uncle kong, the carnival is my favourite car. Saved money to get it and recently booked. Now so sad as govt announced no subsidy, thinking if i should switch to sorento 2.5 petrol.. only downside the 6 seater is not what i prefer , but 7 seater has low specs… any advise on why carnival will still be a better choice.. in rgds to fuel consumption ?

Kia Sorento MQ4 Malaysian-spec better than Philippine-spec......because Malaysia-spec has All Wheel Drive. Philippine version Front Wheel Drive only unfortunately =(
