Is the LAUNCH CONTROL in the Challenger a JOKE?! 

Hey rush you have to press the brake hard then apply full throttle as fast as you can and leave your foot to the foor and then it will hold it at the rpm you want and then release the brake

1. Activate launch control. 2. Wait till it says hold break, hold the break with your left foot. Make sure your foot is all the way down firmly. 3. While your left foot is on the break. Quickly push your gas pedal with your right foot all the way down. Make sure you still have the break down still so it can hold your car place. This is done simultaneously. 4. Let your left foot off the brake. And enjoy being pushed back into your seat hard af 😎

Y'all leave the brake pedal stuck first and the gas all the way down I go to break and you take off that's how I lost control works in my TA 392

This was frustrating to watch

It does work, but it is very fussy and you have to keep the steering wheel straight and be very crisp with your accelerator while holding the brake. It falls out of launch control mode very easy if it isn't executed perfectly. Having said that I'd never use it at the drag strip, and nobody who runs dodges I have talked with use at the track. Brake boosting it to get a good preload squat (1000-1500rpm) seems to be the ticket for the A8 for good 60' times.

I have a 2015 challenger srt 392 and I usually launch it at 2250 or 2500 RPM every time with no problem , for you to hold your rom you have to apply a lot of pressure to the brake and also try holding on to your steering wheel with both hands and keep it straight as possible and then quickly press the gas while your holding the break but make sure your applying a lot of pressure to the break .

My manual wouldn’t launch with minimum setting (2500 for manuals) but when I turn it up to 3000 I got a 4.4 with launch control. However it is very finicky.

Totally worthless on a manual. No line lock to hold you in place. Engineers took a stupid pill. Need a taser to activate the feature that SHOULD already be there.

Step 1;Press the brakes hard Step2; gas it to the rpms u set it as (recommend to launch at a low to medium rpm) Step3; then u release the brake pedal and fetter your way in don’t got full throttle or else you will spin

It’s easy to do . Your doing it sorta right . When you apply full throttle don’t let go of the gas pedal , wait a quick sec till you see the RPMs hold . ( while still on the brake firmly ) then once you see the RPMs are holding at the desire rpm you set it up just let go of the brakes . Don’t wait to long to release the brake though cause then launch control will disable.

Use two feet, hold the brake then full throttle, it will then hold the RPM set, to launch you let off the brake with your left foot.

Mine works great, mash the brake. Hold throttle open. Let the break go and do not let off pedal while initially launching. I know it feels odd, keep at it.

Steering wheel has to be straight if it moves at all it will disable the launch control immediately!!😎

its real simple hold the brake and mash the throttle all the way to the floor as fast as you can..... if you go slow it wont work . the 2step will activate and when you lift the brake it will take off like a bat out of hell. set the RPM to as much as your tires can hold

1st full brake 2nd full throttle & hold both(brake & throttle) down it takes both of your feet RPMs will hold at set level 3rd release brake & hold on

What’s funny is my car tells me what to do in the center display but doesn’t give that activated screen on the Uconnect

Basically you have to press the brake then gas at the same time. Press them both hard to the floor.

Yo bro turn the launch on press the brake keep the brake hold and smash the gas to the ground and still have the foot on the brake and also have your traction on bro or else you'll be spinning and if it still doesnt worm take it to the dealer for warranty check up as some people have malfunctions with theirs! Hope you get it done and what's your plans with your car bro I would love a video of what your real life plans are I'm thinking of keeping it and putting a comp cam and rocker lifters after the warranty runs out!

Dude, you need to get a widebody. 4.0 flat, even 3.8 once; no worse than 4.5 if done right. It's all about the tires; oh and try about 1500 RPM.

What's the point of the launch control tho cause you have to hold it to the floor and when you release the break it just punches it to red line and then its spin city.

This was one thing I had to keep at myself even though the instructions are clear. I would always hold down the brake firmly, but I never did put the gas pedal to the floor. I kept applying about half way to three quarters of the gas pedal and I just saw my RPM’s go high and then I would let go of the brake and it would always tell me launch control cancelled. Anyways, sorry for the long comment. Laters 🤙🏻
