I just bought a 18 charger hellcat yesterday. 🤗 Woke up this morning to check the garage to see if this was real.

Just bought a 345 Daytona charger and I’m loving it, definitely will be doing that muffler delete first! I can’t wait for the cold starts once I get that done! Just waiting till my first payment comes through for the vehicle, excited for all the neat little things I will come to change! I can now say Mopar or no car!!

Just bought my 2020 Hellcat Redeye and absoluterly love it. This video was awesome and highly informative. Since I bought it used, 12k miles, windows were already tinted, but had the yellow protector on front though. Its coming off today LOL. First thing I am doing is the exhaust as suggested . I have been a GM guy my entire life. For the past 23 years all I have driven are some of the hottest cars GM and Pontiac has ever made. I decided two weeks ago to buy a new car as it was time to give my 2012 SS Camaro a little rest (daily driver). I will never get rid of her as she's still amazing. At any rate, as I'm looking at newer Camaro's for the first time in my life I just wasn't happy at what I was looking at. Not one new Camaro in any trim looked like an American muscle/pony car and I decided to look at something else... Thankfully, I saw an amazing yellow and black Dodge Challenger RT+P for sale that was at the right price. I test drove her and bought her then and there. I know, it's not a Scat or Hellcat Redeye but as my first Dodge I wanted to start smaller as I just don't know the cars. Well...too say I am impressed is an understatement. If I still feel this way this time next year, I will buy a Challenger Hellcat. Hell, maybe I get one sooner and give my RT to my fiancee.

Looked like a fun day! I went with Billet technologies catch can on .my 2019 Scat. Quality construction.Can be a little pricey depending on what you want.

Took delivery of a new 2023 White Knuckle R / T . FINALLY ! Saw Vanishing Point in 1971 and Dreamed of having one ever since ! Love It ! Kowalski LIVES !

I’ve never thought about joining a club but owned my 70’ Challenger for seventeen years and had viper and challengers before. After I saw the new Challenger prototype I didn’t think it would make it to production.

Just got a 2018 Challenger R/T Plus 2 weeks ago and I have already done just about everything on the list, with the addition of gloss black lug nuts and wheel locks. These are definitely "must do's" for a modern Challenger. Not sure if I'll get around to installing an oil catch can, but I'm definitely going to splurge on some wider Hellcat style rims soon :)

You are correct about the splitter shipping guards, have had my new chally for almost 2 weeks and just hadn't taken the 2 bannanas off yet. There was already some gritty road sand building up. They are off now.

Good list. Many of these I did already on my Charger. I think a big one IMO was tires and wheels adding the hellcat repica rims to my R/T with summer tires, 275's was a big improvement.

I'll come back when I get a widebody Scatpack in 5 plus years.

I love my chrome, I want more chrome. I'm not a sheep that is too afraid to admit I like something because it's "out". For me the biggest lacking element in these new(ish) chargers and challengers is chrome, chrome to me exemplifies an era of muscle cars and style. My point is, it's your car, make it look the way you want it to and don't give a damn what other people think. I don't like the shaved door handles, no chrome, blacked out look but I won't go around telling people it's ugly, it's just not my taste. I want a chrome grille, chrome badges, chrome trim and chrome bumpers, it makes me smile. Oh and 60s style chromed steel drag wheels....... yeah those are so freaking cool. I have never liked the whole low profile tire thing, I like nice meaty tires that look ready to rip a quarter mile. It all takes me back to working on muscle cars with my dad on weekends growing up. Do what makes you grin from ear to ear and enjoy your ride.

Awesome tips! I bought one yesterday. 2021 Scat Pack widebody with T/A pkg, tech, plus, convenience pkgs. Loaded! It's an amazing car and I've had close to 100 cars and other SRT's. As solid as any car I've ever been in! First thing I did is have the dealer remove that stupid yellow thing!

Got everything you mentioned done except the exhaust. We travel a lot with the car so I don’t want to piss off my family on 1500mile drives. I would also recommend swapping the marker lights out to the full led ones. They look so much better.

Great video! I'm about to get my first Dodge most likely this summer. I've been wanting a Challenger for a few years and have been researching it and joined the main forums. I currently drive a 16GT and its a decent car, but I've had 3 Mustangs and just want something different with a little more torque. I know I want a 392, but can't decide on the trim. I keep going back and forth between a loaded regular Scat Pack, 1320, widebody or 50th. I'm leaning towards the 50th and would love the WB version, but know that it is going to be too pricey as I would like to keep it no more than 45k (after rebates and discounts). The 1320 actually looks to be the best bang for the buck, but wish you could get some color in the interior as I really like the new Caramel option. I do know I want to get either octane, sinamon stick or gold school. The 50th anniversary also looks to be a good deal with what you get in the package assuming you can get one at sticker minus some rebates, but I'm a bit worried about the flat black paint and wraps. I use to wash my own car more, but have to admit I'm getting a little lazier as I age and want something easy to take care of and can just go through the car wash. I've been hearing a lot of good things about the ceramic coating lately, but not sure how it would work with the satin areas? If I can find a place that could do a decent job in the 500-600 range that would be great, but most seem to be over a grand in my area. Sorry about the long rant and long post, but I will be following.

Your Challenger Looks Mean, Wow. But i Disagree with you about the Chrome Removal. I Own a 2018 Challenger RT & i have 22 inch Chrome Wheels with the Chrome Gas Cover & It Looks Clean & Bad Ass. Its Dark Grey & i put Red Decal Stripping, Red Hood Inserts with Red Interior Leather & to Be Honest, This Grey & Red Theme with the Chrome Look Turns Heads Constantly. This guy is telling you how to get pulled over from a cop. Dont listen to his bs...tint and a front license plate?...all it takes is a couple of beers, lose your career, get your car towed and repo'd...get behind in house payments. Great advice dude!

Never heard of the ceramic coating before, that's a great tip. I've been going with Zaino products but I think for my next car I'll try the ceramic option when it's new. A new Sinnamon Stick Scat Pack is what I am thinking of, with my 2017 RT being used as a trade in.

I put blackout headlights and a black billet grill on my challenger. I also put some matte black louvers on my vehicle that makes it look really aggressive. I'd add to paint the calipers as well. I've had my challenger since 2012 and I just now started to customize it in 2020...if you got a challenger with 17s on it then upgrade to 20s or 22s. 20s come standard now but didn't when I picked up mine.

I honestly think the splitter guard looks cool, even if yes, it will overtime damage your splitter. I think a more logical idea would be to have a yellow strip painted onto the splitter for aesthetic reasons.

I agree with lots of your ideas. Tint is a must. Muffler delete is my next mod. It is such a beautiful machine. Make it your own. Personalize it

Added the ceramic paint protection when I picked up my car RT Daytona. The cost was $600 from the dealer. My previous Charger (RT Max) had the Zylon coating which was awesome too.

The oil catch can - been wanting to put that on we're not far from the Petty Garage - we used them for the tower brace on our RT - great folks to work with and met King Richard. Highly recommend.
