they should make lakes own floating Nessie (similar to that floating yellow rubber duck at the seas) for 2 reason: 1: to lure real Nessie come by, and 2: just to replace a story It would fun to have that story real, but i have seen document about that, lake, how it was formed, "and how nessie got trapped" in there.. :-D its a scottish own story, for sure, and should keep that way :-)
There is a very long tradition of water beasts in the northern highlands, water is the entrance to the underworld, all the monsters and creatures live there, except the little people they live in rabbit holes and the trolls live in caves (obviously) and the shape shifting vampire canibals can be anyone but they have hooves instead of feet which is always a big clue.
Of course the Loch Ness Monster exists. Next thing the “experts” are gonna say is Bigfoot doesn’t exist either. “Just because you didn’t see doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, just means you didn’t do your job” Greatest comment of the day. 😂 ❤️
In Lake Champlain there is a monster called Champ. The first sighting goes back to 1609. I don't know if Champ or Nessie is real. There would have to be more than one in each lake. Enough to reproduce and enough food to feed them. Other wise both Champ and Nessie would die off at some point. Just something to think about and to add to the discussion.
She better be real, otherwise this would mean that my yearly offerings of doughnuts made to look like nessie swimming in custard left at the shores have been for nothing. I havent waisted my life and she will grant me the gift of a beard some day soon!
I picture Nessie, wild haggis roaming the highlands and American tourists getting confused by the accents when I think of Scotland. In all seriousness I would love to spend a summer on Loch Ness searching for the ancient beast. And pubs.
This was really fascinating! Loved how you put this video together and presented it! So of course, I really enjoyed it! I agree that most sightings are probably as you described, wind, other animals, etc, but that doesn't mean that there can't be something else down there, yet to be identified. It's at least important to keep open the possibility. Since as we learned from Jurassic Park, "Life finds a way."
In 2018 we road tripped with our kids in Scotland. On our way to Broadford via Inverness we drove a fair length of Loch Ness. I pulled over to let the kids look over the water and immediately my little girl said she saw the tail of something disappear into the water...sun dun duuuuuunnnnnnn I'm just saying...shes pretty sure it was the Nessie and I'm going to have to believe her until someone proves her wrong.
Holy crap lass, I never laughed so hard for a long time. I really needed a programme like this to lift my spirits at a shitty time right now. I guess I have been stuck up in the far north of Canada for too long.
Nice video. One can tell you love nessie :) This is my hypothesis: Nessie might be a Kelpie, yes a water spirit. No one knows their true form, only what they show to lure humans. What if the reason many of the sights differ from each other is because is a shape shifting kelpie? And dunno, a kid pr9bs once dropped a dinosaur toy and the kelpie found it and for fun adopted its form in one or several occasions. This could explain why the dna was not found. Is magical dna hence our scientists would not know what to look for. And sometimes when the scans have been made it just changes into a regular sized fish whic explains confusion in data. And because is magical creature we dont know what it feeds on. Maybe it feeds from people's life energy, so it needs all the visitors lol. Or it goes to kelpieland, has supper and then comes back to loch ness.
what you're saying at the end of the video is soooooo important! without open mind theres no progress - cause if everyone would be skeptical there will be no questions and without questions there will be no answers! With closed mind and skeptical personality we still be watching stars from earth and think "nope, theres nothing there, waste of time and money to go there".
Thank you for mentioning my video and sharing the link! 😊 Also, loved your commentary, and I totally agree with you that just because "experts" say Nessie isn't real doesn't mean there isn't something there. I also don't buy the giant eel theory. 😹 I have seen two unknown water creatures in 2 totally different bodies of water. I have no doubts about Nessie existing. 🖤
Oh hello! So cool that you watched this! Hopefully I didnt butcher your name too much 🙃. Really cool capture though, well done. Ooo have you? Very interesting! Love it ☺️
You actually didn't butcher my name at all! 😹 Which is impressive considering most people do. Thank you! 😊 So far, most people are just laughing at me for filming a far away black dot on a low quality webcam. 😛 I have indeed! My plan is to do a video series on my channel of all my weird stories. Hopefully sooner than later. 😹
Also, you being a Jurassic Park fan like Me is just one of the infinite things we have in common. :P Thank You for sharing this with us all. It was very enjoyable and I can't wait for the next! Hope you are well Erin!
Love videos like these about Scotland!! And so appreciate a Scottish voice on youtube!! Love it :D More videos on Scottish myths and legends please!! :D
We should have been visiting Nessie this past April but obviously our plans were put on hold. Can’t wait til we can finally get to come and see your part of the planet.
Being on a boat with the fresh air and slight mist out on Loch Ness has to be my favorite part of my Scotland trip. Its so beautiful, how could something with such grandeur not be hidden there.
From the different sightings and different conclusions by researchers, I'd say that the Loch Ness monster could be a combination of creatures and phenomena.
SUCH A BRILLIANT VIDEO ERIN! I would love to see more like this! I went to Urquhart castle when I was about 11 years old, my family and I were the only ones there and I remember we spent the entire day there. When we were all in the gift shop two members of staff started looking out towards the loch with binoculars, there was nothing on the loch no boats or anything (it was a really miserable cloudy day), I remember being allowed to look through the binoculars to see the strange thing in the water, and I can remember seeing a strange, long, dark object on the surface of the water that appeared to be dipping and diving...it was odd and strange but then again who knows. I'd like to believe in her, its the ignorance of man to think we can explain everything that is in this world.
I'm an old X-Files fan, so I Want To Believe! Yes I think somethings there! I've watched a lot of the documentaries where they were searching with sonar. The loch is so huge, and nobody know where all the crevasses are or where they go to. Maybe it's from another dimension! The possibilities are endless and fun to speculate! Great video Erin! Search RU-vid for 'The Bear Lake Monster' it's a huge ancient lake in my State. People say there are parts of it that they have not found the bottom! Maybe we have Nessie in Bear Lake! (Play scary music) Have a great week!
I suggest everyone go to Loch Ness because that is some of the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen!!! You never know she may come out to say hello.
I’ve been subscribed for ages and I’m a patreon member too because I love her 😍 channel! People, if you enjoy her channel as well you def should become a patron and give her some support
I do think that in the deepest of that lake lives a creature . During life history there have been lots of sea creatures till today. Some of them we don't know them very well. The sea and a deep lake offer us many mysteries and surprises and I guess Nessie is one of them.
Love this! So growing up me and my brother used to get Family Ness quoted at us (Angus and Elspeth went down to the loch and blew on their thistle whistles!).
She’s definitely real! National Geographic did a Secrets of Loch Ness episode from their Drain the Oceans series on Disney+. If you haven’t watched it, it discusses a lot of similar theories.
The old Primeval TV series explored the possibilities of farctures in time and space as being a cause of various myths through history. While the show's complete fiction, it's quite likely that there would be anomalies that affect time and space. Nessie is one thing they never visited though.
I would be thinking that if you want to see Nessie, then catch a wild haggis, put it on a tether and lead it to the edge of the loch. Then Nessie will appear out of curiosity of the wee animal.
I can remember my Da telling me many many years ago about a story of a couple who went out into the Loch in a row boat, only to be found the next day empty with blood splattered inside of it. Don't know if it was real or not. Scared the shite out of me.
Couldn't have survived the ice age. But I was fishing Loch Ness years ago and had a thought " what if Nessie came out the water to eat me?" So I moved back fae the waters edge.
I think it’s fascinating and I do think there is some kind of of creature in the Loch. The name “the Loch Ness Monster “ for me contours images of a giant Dinosaur type animal and I’ve always been excited by it. Wow you did a lot of research on this Erin well done 👍 one of the most famous Scottish mysteries for sure. 😃. Hope your doing well take care
I was told by my Scottish friend that it was made up to get the tourists to that part of Scotland. I myself do believe there is something in the Loch, Great Vlogs
In Ayr we saw a butchers shop selling freshly shot haggis but it was closed at the time. I wanted to bring a live one back as a pet but I could only find cooked ones. I buy mine in Stevenage now.
I highly doubt Mankind has a database of all marine life at this time. I am sure that there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of unidentified creatures living in the depths of the oceans and lochs on Earth. With that said, does the Loch Ness monster exist? Why wouldn't it? Until the species can be determined, it will be known as simply the Loch Ness monster; of course, once the species is determined, it will still, and forever after, be known as the Loch Ness monster. It's as simple as that.
I grew up in King's Beach - Lake Tahoe, California, and there is one in that lake - she's called Tahoe Tessie! Lots of info on her as well if you Google it. For April Fool's Day one year, about 35 years ago, the news paper put out a front page article saying there were all these attacks on cats and dogs and horses that were too close to the water.. and some fisher men too (fuzzy pictures of attacks were included). 🤣 All the tourists freaked out! The next printing, the paper had to print an apology... Lol I know these girls are real!! Even if they are just enormous sturgeon or something 🤷🏻♀️ They are real! 🙌🏼❤️🦕
It's possible that a large water bound form of life from prehistoric times could have adapted to surviving in cooler waters on less food and needing to pop up for air less often, nature does find a way after all when it comes to adaption in particular environments. Picturing what a Nessie livestream would be like: "Hello, all you possible tasty snacks, welcome to another livestream of the life of me, Nessie, as I troll the gullible and simple minded primates who keep trying to see me. Oh hang on, more tourists. Bob, hey Bob, tourists! Strut your stuff! While Bob trolls the tourists for me I'll give you a bad joke, why did Nessie cross the road? To get a deep fried mars bar. Laugh or I bite your ass when you next go to the loo"
When I picture Nessie, not once had I ever thought of Scotland.... What I thought of was the media coverage way back in the day that tried to say it was just some man doing a swimming stroke. I know, poor recital of my memory from back when I saw it on the news.... its so very very vague. But to your question, as I answered... It's never made me think of Scotland. It just made me think about some sap playing at a prank and yelling that the sky is falling. No offense. Just my honest opinion.
Great how much research and thought you have put into your video..................................of course Nessie is real.........I have seen it.............good luck.
I was there and saw something on the lake, very clearly, but I caanot tell you more because you wouldn't believe me so better to remain silent, at least a few decades
what about Sasquatch? is there such a thing within Scotland? the Sasquatch scarred me since less when I was much younger. hope your well... enjoy your videos. peace and cheers to you
Couple years ago i was watching a America show about history and monsters in there oceand and one person said that loch ness monster went to America foe a well Beautycreep
Well we are still trying to find Bigfoot and Champ in the USA! The idea is interesting but would you really want to be the person who gets an up close encounter?
I found this to be a very interesting video. Thank you for sharing itand I do believe that there is something down there. Let's face it when a country has a unicorn as their national animal why can't there be a Loch Ness Monster?
What it means when they can't find something is that this something is smart enough to avoid our search .... meaning, Nessie knows she screwed up when she went on a joy ride back in the 80's. Of course, she didn't know of the technology back then and once she realized we were ever adapting and evolving, both in physiology, intelligence and technology ... It was easy to piece 3 and 7 together and say "Hey...." ....................... "I need to remain hidden, for a long time .... until the time is right .... else it might be my last debut." Just one theory, anyway. But it, in a way, proves that all life can find a way to survive and hide from prey .... even if we aren't prey, you know every person in the world is going to want to come and touch or research the poor life form.......... No wonder Nessie went into hiding. In my honest opinion ...... Humans are not the only sentient intelligent species of life on this planet, OR this galaxy. The problem is that we can't communicate with other forms of life, so we base our success or failure on our own limitations and elevations. Ok, I'll shut up now. :P
@@ErinsHoose I'm not ruling out your portal theory either, I mean, how could you not love the thought of a portal that brings her from her time to ours
