It really depends on the user. Your skill and your desire to wield it is what makes the difference. You can make magic on any device as long as you got that itch to create something dope. I would use either a Maschine device or an MPC or a Casio keyboard if I had to. Lol. If you can make noise you can make music… it’s just that simple. I used garage band on my phone to make beats when there was nothing to use. lol. It’s all about the drive and how you are able to manipulate your skill to bend to your will.

It's so true!!! Some of these producers can make absolute heat on their phone using bandlab! It's all about creativity and what inspires you!!! for a long time I was only using Logic Pro X, but I found that I'm more inspired using hardware!! it really is all about your personal preference!!!

@@BlackBeltTitus yup growing up I used to make beats hitting a large box on the ground (padmount transformer) wouldn’t do it now. lol. But yea that’s how it starts. You and your buddies are hanging out. One wants to spit a verse so I jump on the beat by hitting this huge transformer ( which is hollow and has lots of bass) point is anyone can make a beat on anything. Hardware… software…noware lol. It’s all good. Just make music if it is in you. Keep up the good work. Hope your channel takes off. I’m at 76 subs. lol. Gotta start somewhere right? 😎👍🏽

Maschine Software need a serious update to follow up wha'ts currently on the market. For me it's not normal that this software is not 3.0

Yeah they are definitely slow with the updates! But with the komplete integration it has sped up my workflow substantially!!

Thank you for the video. Does the MK3 have a key detection feature? I'm not a musician, so if I sample something, I won't know what key it's in. The new generation MPC's have that key detection feature, which I assume makes it easier when knowing how to match your bass to the sample.

I don’t believe so but there are cheap/ free 3rd party plugins you can get to do this for you inside the maschine MK3

It doesn’t have key detection but, u can change the key of the sample to whatever key u want it to be. In the zone section of the sampler (on the 2nd or 3rd page I believe) u can set the key and then tune the sample back to its original tempo… or find a new tempo🤷🏽‍♂️

Honestly it’s tough to say. Cuz I’m not even sure the MK4 will drop soon. I love the MK3 but if you want to wait, my guess is it’ll drop in 2025

Vocals I’ll be honest is the best but you definitely can thru direct input. Samples yes!!! You can just drag and drop

It still has beats in it. Sure. Maschine devices aren’t for me but they still can make music. Why not? They do need to get their users what they want. NI seems to have gone asleep on the Maschine front. I’ll stick to my MPCs and DAWs.

Got my Mk3 right before Maschine+ released tbh if MPC software wasn't so clunky I would've went with an MPC instead but I've grown to love Maschine

Me too. People really hate the maschine software but once you get a hold on it it’s not too bad honestly! Sped up my workflow for sure. I can make loops so quickly now!!

An added benefit is the embedded sound card. This is something that the MPC Studio does not have. It's relevant if you want to use Traktor and. the Tractor X1 Mk3 which does not have a embedded sound card.
