Is the NEW 2023 Chevrolet Blazer RS a good SUV worth buying? 

I really like the improvements but 50k is still a bit of stretch to me, I would rather get a Cadillac at that price point

One of the main reasons i love your reviews is Lori's camera work. She knows when to pan out, zoom in, no dizzy quick cuts, pretty much flawless video!

I actually like it a lot. As a Camaro owner, its very much like they turned the Camaro into a SUV. I also like that they didn't shy away from features. Big infotainment, multiple usb ports, wireless charging, wireless ACP/AA, heated and vented seats etc. See all too many instances of car brands parting all of that good stuff out into multiple different trim levels where you gotta pay top dollar. What I dont like is that price tag. 50K and its not offering anymore than competitors. Hell that's SS camaro territory. I have my eyes on potentially getting a Santa Cruz Limited and that car is almost 10k cheaper with the same features. If the Blazer was 40-45K max, fully loaded top trim level, it'd be a no brainer.

Pre-pandemic, you could get this for maybe $10,000 less than a Honda or Toyota. These dumb markups make these Chevys heavily overpriced

Just purchased the same vehicle being shown here. Same exact color and tire combo. Interior is black and that v6 will kick your head back for the power when needed. I don't have awd but i'm not all that interested in having it. Will say this, it turns heads and them 21 inch rims and tires are really nice . 3 weeks into it and love it. right under 50,000, but to me im in a chevrolet. I still own 2003 chevy trailblazer i bought new with 115000 miles on it now, One thing i like to point out is that 2003 a/c has never been touch and still blows cold.

Bought one for my wife. RS package AWD loaded w/3.6l v6 and a giant sunroof. Quick and awesome looking, nice ride. She deserves it and loves it !!

Wow! It just all around looks very sharp. As a street going SUV, it’s fantastic. Edit: Oh hell no... way too expensive! 50k?!?

I always have to say one thing in this review: I really love the color of this SUV. Also I consider as an chevrolet fan of their products especially this one. Also I will able to afford one of these vehicles someday and I will show this vehicle to my friends and family as well. Overall, fantastic job and review joe.

Great review as always. Have had a 2021 Blazer RS for a year. Awesome vehicle. It drives better than other vehicles in it’s class which to me is the most important thing. Only zonks are no power folding mirrors, no outside temp in digital dash, no ac heating controls in the rear. Yes it cost me around 50 grand but no regrets. Go drive one.

It's a pretty vehicle, I'll give it that, but a Hyundai SantaFe Calligraphy is about $6K less; with a 5-year warranty.

My brother had a 98 or 99 and loved it. I would say Chevy did a good job with the Blazer line up in the past, I don’t know about now on the new ones but also I haven’t heard any complaints.

Great review! One point...RS package generally comes with wider and lower profile, grippier tires, which improve handling. So not totally an appearance package. On the Camaro, roadholding increases to .89g from .85 with RS vs without.

Cool, aggressive look. Not sure why they’re pulling Camaroesque looks into a simple SUV. I think 50k is a little rough. I’d scrape up another $5000 and get a nicely loaded Audi Q5 full of tech, luxury and a lot faster

The blazer, trail blazer, traverse, equinox, Tahoe and suburban are among the most popular cars within my city. From what I’ve seen in my city, Chevy and Toyota are the most popular car brands. I myself have a 2014 equinox, I plan on getting either the traverse or blazer in the next 2-3 years. I also love that Chevy continues to keep a traditional gear shifter in their suv when most other brands have transitioned to buttons or dials

I had a 2000 2dr LS Blazer in red. My winter beater.... right. I loved it and preferred it over my 2002 mustang gt conv. They need to go back to the root man. 2000 was the one of the best years!

Damn! Chevy got me! It is an undeniably sharp looking vehicle. The interior does look great, too. That’s largely been the greatest barrier for me from buying a Chevy in recent years. I’d have to sit in it myself, but if I enjoyed that this Blazer is quite an attractive car and a compelling offering. I honestly want one.

The Blazer has come a long way it seems 2022 is a good year for new vehicles so amazed. I never been to a car show sure would love going one. This SUV looks sporty glad they brought it back that red color is amazing brings it out lot with looks and front grill is nice. Now a GM boy again as Chrysler and Ford lover also digging the new Tundra so excited with all these new cars for 2022 and 2023.

Ok so I'm loving the colors. Adore the red stitching and accents inside ( although I prefer black interior over gray). I'm pleasantly surprised to hear that it has 20 inch wheels as well as I'm always telling my husband that I like the bigger wheels. I need to get $50,000 together and get this vehicle !!! Only if it has a heated steering wheel and the cargo area is comfortable for my 87 pound dog. My cats and dogs are so special that I would buy this just to take them to the vets !! Not kidding 🙂

Joe, thank YOU, Good Video. Just to let you know, what’s under the hood is NOT an Inverter which takes DC and makes 120VAC out of it, but rather a DC Power Supply - as in 12VDC to keep the Battery Charged for the Car Show.

My 2019 Blazer Premier has the rails and movable gate in the cargo area and optional tie down rings that I find very useful since I often carry large items. Why did they eliminate that in the 2023?

Congrats on the ZL1 Is this darker or lighter than the wild cherry tintcoat color was discontinued on my camaro ss order they moved it to radiant red for 2023 really wanted the wild cherry.

Well I wish for that amount of money that they had nicer inside and nicer materials like you were saying with the door and other nicer materials inside. I would also like to see an upper grade where you could opt for a bigger engine and more horsepower to make it more sporty like a m or a AMG or an s model and have more horsepower that would be amazing keep up the good work love the videos.

Got my 19 blazer rs for around 41k brand new.. got everything but the technology convenient package which was like 2k-3k more.. happy with it. But will definitely wait for the EV SS... was hoping they would go V8 but I doubt that'll happen. The 557 ponies and over 650 lb ft torque for around 65k before incentives... too hard to pass up.

50k? No thank you there's so much better options at that price, you know like the Telluride

I looked AT the Blazer, but I was used to the cabin room in my '19 Traverse. For literally the same price I got a Traverse Premier in 2023.

I think with the way this RS looks, the RS stands for "really sweet!".

If they added an outlet plug for charging your home for a few days would be great like on the Silverado EV.

It’s the 50k price tag for me that pretty expensive when you can get like a 3 row suv from ford is around the same price or possibly less . It is really nice I just don’t think it is worth that much money

That's a real nice 2-row SUV. Definitely wouldn't mind one, especially in that colour. The V-6 would be a good choice, as well. Still not fully sold on full EV's, as I think a PHEV is the smarter option. Lori, awesome work in tight spaces! Thanks for all the incredible content, Joe!

We got the new 2022 blazers at work and they are definitely nice. I’m just not sure about those transmissions as I’ve seen previous models transmissions fail prematurely

Anyways this red color is amazing and if a Camero was an SUV, it would probably be this. (Besides that *ON* *THROTTLE* )

It's a nice looking car, but it's just not worth the price when there's lots of 2 row competition that gives you as much or more for cheaper.

Joe I'm really digging these changes. I actually came up with a theory that maybe the reason why Chevy didn't bring back the Blazer as it once was amd made it a camaro like SUV is because they knew that down the road the camaro would be killed 🤔 But great job Joe and it seems like those on throttlers at the show are big fans of Raitis Rides!

I just detailed a 2022 Black Chevy Blazer that was scratched front to back after going through two car washes. It only had 1,500 miles. Paint must be super soft. Hand wash only.

Definitely the best looking of the mid-size SUVs but at that price point I'd expect more.

Hey Joe and Lori, and also the Raiti's Rides family, what's up and how are y'all doing today? 😅 So today review is about the 2023 Chevy Blazer (aka a boring SUV) or is it because this is the 2023 Chevy Blazer RS (a less boring Chevy SUV), and the reason why the "RS" trim is more exciting is because it have a V-6 with 308-hp, over the more standard "4 banger" with 228-hp ( *Boring* ). Now the main differences between the 2022 and the 2023, is that the "new" one have a "newly-styled grill and front fascia, which gives the 2023 Blazer a new sporty façade that demands attention -chevy" and the new colors, and to be honest it likes the same, but better then before, so I guess that at least they are doing something good. Besides that it's that same thing it's only a mid-facelift and 3 new colors ("RADIANT RED TINtCOAT", "STIRLING GRAY METALLIC", and "COOPER BRONZE METALLIC"). Anyways what is your favorite "sporty" mid-size SUV and why? (Besides that Joe would probably choose the Dodge Durango, but "Like always *ON* *THROTTLE* ")

I purchased my 2019 RS for $37k. Yeah they up graded the wheels and radio but took out heated steering, and seats. I’m not sure that trade off is work $13k more than it was in 2019. They don’t even have metallic blue anymore. Not impressed. I’m looking at the Cadillac version that is similar for my next car. Especially, if the price point is so high on the Blazer.

Better off with a Mazda CX-5 or any Mazda SUV Turbo for way less.

I will say this i love your video mans keep it up. But about the blazer i think chevy is doing good with the sharp look and grill but the blaser always been over priced to me for what it is and compared to its other classmates

Can I get different wheels with the RS? Like the styling of this model, but don’t like the chrome in the rims. It’s also kind of small.

Loving the Chevy Blazer it may not be perfect but I love the Blazer and I think it's a nice SUV. The top of the door panel it could've been softer but if everything were to be perfect then, everything would've be boring don't you agree?

I love the looks and everything, but the price sucks. I can get other fully loaded mid size suvs for around the same price or lower. They shot themselves in the foot with that pricing.

I don't feel as attracted for the Blazer as I felt when it came back a couple years ago.

50k??? No way I'm paying 50k for that. This is probably the worst option at 50k. It does look good and probably the only 2022 mid size suv that can truly rock that color. I'm sorry, I just don't see anything worth 50k and I'm not buying a vehicle just for the looks.

The name is iconic, unlike the current vehicle it adorns. Chevrolet failed when it named this vehicle with Blazer name.

Please $50k are they seriously 😳 the Genesis GV 70 cost $56k and is SUV of the Year!!! Common Chevrolet!! Their over their head this SUV easy $40k but $50k no Way!! Look nice but those rims are ugly ass hell!! Better job next time for those rims and finally the old gold geezer Logo is Black like is supposed to be. Good review Raiti's.
