I bought this, ran fire toolbox and now it's my go to tablet. Fast enough, good screen, and runs all the Android apps I've tried. I like it alot especially for $80.
@@nicolenya fire tool box is a program you can customize your fire tablet with using a PC via USB cable. You can remove bloatware, add Google play store etc. I use it on all my fire tablets. Look up tutorials on Amazon fire toolbox. It's very simple to use.
This is my friend's second Kindle. ru-vid.comUgkxOnUR4NaproSbBbD2sdI4XcDZ58Jz8GOx The first one which is about 5 or 6 years old quit charging because the bottom connector went bad. When I saw they upgraded to a USB C connector I knew it was time. I think the old USB Micro connectors are a PIA. Her new one is great. It synced right out of the box and connected to WiFi immediately. The thing is perfect! Sooo mine will arrive tomorrow. (Been reading off an old Fire) What bugs me are the reviewers that give this product one star because it didn't work out of the box or they were too dumb to figure it out. If it doesn't work send it back and get another one. It couldn't be easier with Amazon. Giving it one star because it didn't work says nothing about a good one that does work. I bet a bad one is one in a thousand or more. Give it a break...just get another one.
The Fire tablets will also READ regular Kindle books to you....while you are driving for Instance. This is much cheaper than audible and really shines if you have and use kindle unlimited. I love listening to my books on those long drives.
i have the fire hd10 plus with the optional keyboard and find it to be the best amazon fire tablet to date. i previously has the fire 7 and the hd8 but the hd10 plus is way better. i find it fast clear and plenty powerful. installing the playstore took 5 mins and gives you 2 appstores to choose between and the built in alexa makes this a exho show too. Id go for the plus model as it gives you more ram and nice soft touch back to the tablet and wireless charging making it compatable with the amazon dock or any qi enabled wireless charger. id highly reccomend the optional keyboard as it makes this tablet more like a laptop but converts back to a tablet instantly. fantastic buy and at prime day prices i got a fantastic deal.
Now and again, it goes on sale for $100.00 ; but to answer the question, definitely yes, for light gaming, reading, social media, and movies. Beautiful crisp screen, fast processor, and long battery life.
I got mine for 70$ on prime day and installed Google play store its simple. And looked up ways to speed it up, the display is really not bad its about as good as entre iPad but a bigger and wider display.
Thanks a lot for your review it was very enlightening. I have one on order the HD 10, it's for my wife she's not into the productivity and so all the rest seems like it would be perfect for her. Can't wait to get it now after your review I might look at it a little bit too, LOL
Love mine, got it for 80 on a QVC deal, then got first time buyer 15 off and 60 for signing up for a Q card, also, a free, Caseable case and office 360 free for a year, so I bought 2, one for me one for my wife, for the price of one. I did download the Android toolbox, but that takes away and disables everything Amazon, and unlike some, being a Prime member, I actually like the Amazon apps on there, so after I reset my tablet, I downloaded a few files to be able to install Playstore and Chrome, now I have the best of both worlds, plus, Chrome runs so much better and faster than Silk, all in all, love this thing, especially for the price I got it for, can't beat it.
Thanks! Great informational video for non- technical individuals 😅. This appears to be the tablet I purchased from Amazon with I sadly later learned it is 9th Gen. not 10th as it noted. Amazon fire tablet 10, some 10.1 9th however I did not get the bundle and I'm have a heck if a tome finding a keyboard case for this 9th Generation model. If it appears you have this 9th Gen if so, please provide a link to keyboard cases that will fit & work with this device 😮 I'm exhausted looking for 1 The description will say it's compatible once you scroll a big X appears in the picture of the 9th Gen. My wonder was it was on sale in 2021
Yes I think it is, but it is snappy and fine. Not once have I had anything lag despite me being pretty demanding. This latest gen Fire 8 is great. I could charge it on another wireless charger too - it works fine.
Reviewers need to tell their audience that Amazon tablets are $20+ cheaper on Prime day or on black Friday. Those are the only two days that I would buy any Amazon devices from Amazon. Microsoft have big plans for Amazon fire tablets. Windows 11's Android app store is shared with Amazon. This will greatly increase the number of apps available for Amazon Kindle Fire tablets. This tie up is reflected by the fact that Amazon bundle together a Fire HD 10, Microsoft Office and a keyboard. A little appreciated advantage of Kindle Fire tablets over other Android tablets is that Amazon provide security updates for at least 7 years.
@xbox gamer No I am not. Microsoft incorporates an Android simulator in windows 11. They needed an app store to use with their simulator. Google would not give them access to the play store and so they choose to incorporate the second best Android app store in Windows 11, the Amazon app store.
I have purchased a few of the Fire 10's, the last two the plug in charger does not fit correctly. I did email Amazon and did not get a reply back. Very dissapointed.
Now this is an unbiased review, some others all have ridiculous snide remarks while doing their review. Just review the product as it is not compare it to more expensive devices they the reviewer can afford and would never even consider the device they are reviewing as a personal device. Bad devices show without too much trouble they are bad and pretty useless. These fire tablets are both affordable and useable and if you have a bit of the techie in you can be made better by adding google to them. Plus as I said in one other review even broken they still have Alexa.
@@franklingoodwin I would also add the iPad Air 4th gen to that list too. With the fire hd you’re limited to amazons software pretty much with no google apps like google maps, RU-vid,google docs and google voice. With other tablets you can get apps for video editing and photo editing.
I've got the 2021 New Model Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet and I love it no it's not 4K Ultra HD but it does have a 1080P Display and has a Brighter picture also just like Amazon said it would. I love it. Of course I'd love to have a 4K Tablet but that would have been to much money I'm just fine with this 2021 Version and I love how fast it is and the brighter 1080P Screen. It's a 10 in my book.
Hi right now my fire HD 10 is giving some problems . when I enter a app after a certain time it enters silk browser or comes on a blue chrome or something like that can you help me pls?
Amazon updates the fire tablets . The ui might not Change to often but I have my fist gen and it still gets updates. I've. Had the play store installed on ever version I've bought.
I’ve had the same fire tablet for 2 going on nearly 3 years now still no issues and still receives software updates. Considering the prices you can get the tablet for brand new when Amazon runs sales it’s well worth it.
It is the 11 generation Fire HD 10.1 as the screen is bigger then other 10 inches by a few millimeters. Not sure of the older models of resolution but the 11 Gen is REAL FULL 1080p with 2 million pixels. It is not In ISP res like other older 🔥 Tab s. Biggest mistake buyers make is trying to change tablet into Android base function which is a scam for most who showing steps to do this are HACKERS and mess up the tablet overall and why the older models being sent back but Amazon knew this as the 11 Gen 🔥 s the settings are locked but best to not fall for those debugging changes.
This is currently on sale for $75. With ads on the lock screen. I think I’m gonna pull the trigger and get it and then try to see if I can jailbrake it
I had loved it at first for the price, but before you knew it I was having major problems. First it would turn off by itself in the middle of a video or while in use. Next big issue the battery life is HORRIBLE. I can only eat h about an hour of video before the battery is down to 20%. Then there's the speakers that aren't that great
Feel like one of the lesser Samsung Galaxy tablets would be best for most users trying to keep in the Android ecosystem. You get built in access to Google services and all the Samsung goodies. Either that or just get the standard iPad for a couple hundred dollars more. Apple really does kind of have the market with tablets.
This suggestion has been around for years...and yet Amazon's value argument still can't be beat. A 150gb device that can run google apps...including Google play store....for under $150. I can spend the extra $200 on something else...not a tablet.
U still doing review for Pocketnow, Josh? Thought u have your own channel going on… Surprised no Jaime to b found on the thumbnail 🤣 ( jaime’s the man tho…)
Oof sad that it doesn't use a RU-vid app - is this really worth paying significantly more for an Android product though? Anyone who's used one that could weigh in?
Can you download large PDF files off the internet with this tablet? I am a masters student looking for a tablet that I can use to read journal articles, medical books and papers on the go that I download from my schools online library website ARES. Not sure if I should get this or a lenovo tablet or ipad.
Lets be real for a moment the screen is plenty sharp not ones did I say man this screen is pixelated or unbearable to watch things on 1080 for such small screen is plenty fine. My TV has 4k as it should but I bet no one is going to complain about this screen. Smh ips LCD is the worst thing on the planet no it isn't u can even see on the content u show in ur videos that it looks totally ok on the fire 10 HD.
No please avoid Amazon tablet go for samsung i pad and realm pad or mi pad I'm having this tab it's too much issue in thid tab.. after you purchasing this you'll cry
Basically a device to encourage you to give your money to Amazon. No thanks, I'm happy with my Honor Pad 5. It's far better. Others may buy a used older gen iPad or get a Samsung tab.
I don't recommend buying any old Samsung tab they will not update those tablets after a year or so. Most people are just using tablets as a consumption not production machine anyway
It's weird they're don't have it since Amazon Firestick has a RU-vid app. Makes me think Amazon don't update the software on their tablets since it's been available for well over a year
