No doubt the new one is a lot finer, stronger and more presentable. But it is still an avenue to milk the populace. We could do better with other needful things calling for attention in the country. Keep your channel up.
Hi Sassy Funke, thanks for sharing this information, as regards to the validity of the new passport, I think it is still 5 years for a standard passport with 32 pages while people who travels alot have the option to opt in for one with more booklets of 66 pages and of course they have to pay more for that (doubled the price of the standard pages if I'm not mistaken) which in return has 10 years validity. You can double check and correct me if I'm wrong. Although I've not gotten the new passport myself, I have but I've couple of cousins who have gotten it and I have seen it has 5 years validity, but overall the quality of the passport is impressive. I don’t understand why u are so excited about new Nigeria passport when we have so many issues facing that country right now. Herdsmen are terrorizing that country, bad roads,lack of electricity, infrastructure etc, we should focus on the main issues facing Nigeria not new international passport because no one care

What happens for people in the diaspora? A NIN is for Nigerians who are resident and work in Nigeria. Nigerians who live in the diaspora do not live there so may not have one and actually don't need a Nigerian NIN.
Exactly! It’s because of the northerners are trying so hard to islamise it. If you look carefully through the new passport you will see Islam logos compare to the new one, same thing with the currency,
