Is the Parmigiani Tonda GT a subtle sport-luxe watch? 

A connoisseur's watch. Not for the flexers. For those that appreciate the understated refinement that PF brings. And for those that can afford it and pull of its size (I can do neither). The PF Micro-Rotor is one of my dream watches. Thanks for bringing this video, Lex!

It is a very well balanced complications watch with golden ratio applied. Almost perfection, but I also like the perfect imperfections. I have asked for a interchangeable strap system that is downwards compatible with all Tonda GTs. Give versatilities and strive to build loyalty. Take care of your customers like Porsche and Apple, or better, Parmigiani Fleurier will soar into a higher realm of Rolex X AP X PP X VC combined.

For the cognoscenti - individual, understated, beautifully finished and amazingly comfortable. I'd go for a bracelet option as the bracelet is one of the absolute best. M. Parmigiani is a bonafide horological genius, right up there with the very best watch makers in the world. To be able to get a production watch that distills his expertise is quite a privilege. Cross Grand Seiko with Philippe Dufour or FP Journe and you have Parmigiani Fleurier!

They need to switch all the brand logo to be the new Pf logo. Its weird to have 2 different logo for the same brand.

I just noticed they removed the 'annual calendar' and 'chronograph' text from the bottom subdial...I didn't mind this at all as much as the 'month' text on the small seconds subdial. (A couple of other people have also mentioned the 'month' text). Very nice newer variations, although I do like the previous all steel with black dial and orange annual calendar and big date.

I like the concept and the complications (big date, chrono, annual calendar) but the overall design is still lacking the distinctive elements that would make it a show stopper as they have managed with the new PF collection that is much more refined and less derivative. This carries waaaay too much resemblance with the 2ndgeneration Vacheron Constantin Overseas (granted, long out of production) , down the the big date and dial finish (which I believe is also stamped here, not done on any sort of guilloche machine as it may be derived from the video). The annual calendar stuff is great but I really dislike the way they have "month" wording disrupting that little subdial. Its a good watch indeed, and even the price point is def fair but it is lacking just enough "wow" factor to stop me from hunting one down. The brand is def on the way up and gets a lot more attention that they totally deserve, so I hope they can have another go at the design of this model.

Problem, they are at least 50% more expensive than the competitors with the same proposition. At my AD, noone buy them. You can get GP, Chopard and other with best value proposition
