PF IS THE NEW JLC. Heard that weekend was a blast. I own the GT (on steel) and think it’s one of the most handsome watches I’ve personally ever owned. I’d be happy to see it leave the catalog as now I’ll have an even more “private luxury“ piece that people won’t recognize.

Regarding the size of the new 3 hand PF Sport, I owned a 3 hand Tonda GT and felt it was too big for me. Does the dial on the new PF Sport with black strap look smaller than that of the Tonda GT? They're both 41mm but wondering how they compare. Thanks WM.

Price is a bit exaggerated in my opinion. Not sure if that lineup can compete with Zenith and VC and they wand almost double the $.

$30k for a chrono on rubber and it isn't even a flyback? big miss imo.

Damn I think they ruined the chronograph. The coin bezel was fine and subtle; it separated PF from Rolex with their fluted bezel. The big date commanded attention, grand and framed. Now it’s seemingly “tucked into a corner” like several other brands have done with their sport watches (Zenith, Chopard, etc.). The smaller guilloché pattern is too similar to the elegant non-sport Tonda PF; the same goes for the PF logo as opposed to its predecessor which used the brand name spelled out in full. The crown was made smaller which I think looks better and the annoying annual calendar function that could not quickly be reset was removed. All in all, I think Parmigiani took a step in the wrong direction. It’s a sport watch so keep it that way. Blurring the line between a sport collection and an elegant collection that has already been perfected is just dumb. Coupled with a look that is WAY too similar to a Rolex Daytona, I’m not sure what Guido was thinking… other than let’s make our own Daytona. No thanks, I’ll stick with the OG. The movement now, however, is incredible whereas before it was just nice to look at. PF did an excellent job with the rotor and clearly gave a ton of love to what lies underneath. I should also point out they made it much thinner, now sitting at a more comfortable 12.9mm (13.7mm before). I applaud that change.
