how did you get saved? I love asking about ppls salvation. Like what did you do, where were you and who was the pastor that lead you???

@@dianetigert1310 It's a long story, as these things often are. By 18 I had pretty much mentally eliminated most worldviews that I knew about. Growing up in the public school system, I had been taught I was just a blob of cells, going to nothing when I died. None of it made sense. I had a friend in high school who was always inviting me to church. She had such a hard family life. She basically raised herself and her siblings. Even through all the things she was going through, she always had a sense of peace and even joy. She was always trusting in God. I finally went to her church. At some point when I was hearing/reading about the crucifixion, it hit me that Jesus died for *my* sins. That *I* was a sinner. I wasn't sure what to do next so I asked the friends who had been driving me home from church. They prayed with me in their car as they were dropping me off at home. It was like a light was turned on!

that's not what the bible says in Acts 5:32

@@dianetigert1310 Actually that is what the bible actually says to those of us who are saved, read it in context with the help of the Holy Spirit because without Him you won't know God nor understand the Holy Scriptures ( 1 Corinthians 2:10-14). @@jesusfollowerswomenministries anything to get away from context?????? Acts is where it started for the believers in Christ. Acts 2:44-45 true believers do this. Acts 5:32 true believers all receive the FREE gift, not lip service worshipers who have no heart in the matter. If you would but follow Jesus wolves in sheep clothes would have no say so in your worship that is....last time read a personal relationship with Jesus as he is preeminence among men when it comes to God.
