I really like these 22 - 24 m range production yachts as you can still go along at speed and you don't feel like you are on an empty boat . Less money/ hassle to crew . just going port to port , stopping off at a cove on the way 😊. You don't have to have the biggest boat to have the coolest one.
Perfect presentation as always , very nice boat , thank you once more for presenting us these boats using your professionalism and experience in this market.
Gotta agree, Riva boats are stunning. I also get your comparison to Gal Gadot, beautiful, classic, sophisticated, timeless and versatile yacht. Love the red dot detail on th GA, that's a great addition. Great vid guys
lovely boat to scoot about in a 200 mile range in good weather. cant imagine needing a captain on a vessel this size but a mate and steward would be handy.
Riva yachts are just.... in a class by themselves. Is there a 50 Metre on the market that we can see a YFS video about soon? Would love to see/hear your take on one of those beauties. 🤩🤩
The bit about being unattached and available for instance, Gal Gadot is married, she has been for 15 years, they have three kids together, why are we talking about where we would take the very unavailable model/actress on a date?
@@Yachtsforsaleblog I think you missed the point. It's disrespectful and if I know someone who spoke about my wife that way and then put it on YT. It wouldn't be ok.
Analogies only work if the person referenced is extremely well known. In this case I believe that Gal Gadot does not rise to this level despite appearances in Fast and Furious and Wonder Woman. Yes the actress is pretty and her military service in Israel is unusual but she is not really an A level star. I get your effort to complement the boat design but I don’t think that this analogy was the most effective. The boat itself is attractive. Usually I enjoy David’s take on a given yacht but I don’t think this particular video was among your more effective. Sorry.
Is there any empirical value up to what length a motor yacht can manage as a "liveaboard" without a crew? So only in the Mediterranean and in the coastal area from port to port.
I have NEVER felt so sorry for a salesman, like I did during this video. It felt like the person representing the boat lost an internal lottery. :) Davy I am behind you, but now you lost the lottery in the office :)
Know that 'the REAL Wonder Woman', Queen Mary Romanus, has seen your recommendation, and approves of it. When she's ready to buy, she is going to give you a call. Thanks David.
11:15 Absolutely no one in his right mind would ever attempt to sail a yacht of this type across the Atlantic. Design class A is just a theoretical classification. This is a yacht designed to reach any port in the Mediterranean in calm weather. She gets you from Cannes to Porto Cervo in style, and that's all you need anyway. She's not designed for sailing longer than 2 days. But who cares? The galley is not really meant for cooking either. But if you can afford this yacht, you don't need to. Riva is in a league of its own, and I'm happy to be working for one of their suppliers. They have a fantastic team and a history that goes back to 1854. They know their trade.
Just too bad Riva is now owned by the Chinese. Hopefully as many of the awesome designers, engineers and builders behind this yacht will find new companies or move to other already established European companies to do their magic at so we can keep on enjoying fantastic non-Chinese yachts in the future!
The Chinese really don't get very involved with the day to day running of the company.. The Ferrari family still own about 15% of the company, the management are all Italian, I was with them yesterday at an event in Monaco and shall be at their party tonight. Everybody seems very happy indeed, the company is prospering, the new models of yachts are superb...I wish them only well.
@@Drevenhaven Ferretti Group, which owns Riva, was sold to the Chinese. So that's Riva, Ferretti Yachts, CRN, Pershing, Itama, Mochi Craft, Custom Line and Wally Yachts. Whatever business you do with Ferretti Group now, whatever yachts you buy, you are benefitting the Chinese yachting industry's future and the Chinese government etc. (The Chinese government and PLA is always a major part if not the main part in all international business, most such companies are owned at least in part by top officials). It doesn't matter if there are still some Italians or mostly Italians doing the work for now: whatever you buy you're giving your money to the Chinese, and each sale benefits China and is away from European companies.
@@pistonburner6448 Thank you for the comments but what was the benefit for The Ferretti group to even consider this? I have to make sure anything in my house has a Chinese free background as my wife is Japanese. So toys are made in Germany, any apparatuses need to be checked on websites to tell if they have Chinese made components before purchasing. Hopefully more details will be shared on this channel because this is big news (to me).
How disrespectful comparing someone to a boat and speaking as if you know them. She's a married woman with children and she's spoken about like property
Someone needs to calm down and get a life and it isn't David 😂. Gal Gadot has made a very good career as a A list actress / sex symbol. So has George Clooney I heard women say how much they would like to be with him and he's married with kids too.
@@stuartbaker6339 Good point: she is a totally uneducated airhead, she can't act AT ALL...without her looks and looks alone she would be nothing. Her supposed good looks is all that she has going for her, so pretty strange to try to take her livelihood away from her by commanding others to not consider her looks. Not that she really was good looking to begin with as an anorexic younger woman, let alone now as a ~40 year old...
@@stuartbaker6339 As a celebrity she makes a living off of her likeness. This is commercial speech, do we think Northrop and Johnson (who have the money to) paid her for the use of her likeness in this advertisement? Do we think her managers signed off on the wording?
@@opcn18 I agree with you about being paid to use her likeness. But I still don't think it's disrespectful in any other way. She's put herself out there as a celebrity and sex symbol.
This Riva Perseo is about as worthy as Gal Gadot in sweats at a shopping mall. No. No. A yacht truly worthy of Gal Gadot would surely be a sailing yacht, like the ravishing Solaris 111' "CeFeA."
Fortunately I had to look up who this person is. And I am lucky to say that I have seen only one movie that she has played in (Death on the Nile). For the first ten minutes. She is questionable though, I assume she was born a woman but even the parents wanted to send people a hint with her name. One can not be to sure with a face like that, I mean woof! Just like this Riva… not my type.
Lol, a mate bought a round once, brought back Becks. First time we had tried it. He took a mouthful and almost spat it out. Tastes like industrial waste water were his words. Bit harsh.. or maybe not. Anyway lovely Mediterranean toy. Great for blasting around.
Sorry...but I LOVE Becks beer! When my daughter was at school she had to draw a picture of her Dad, and she drew me with a bottle of Becks in my hand. Not sure of what the teacher made of that...
Is it MAN (man) or M.A.N. which is the abbreviation for the company's full name, Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg. I've heard German brokers call them M.A.N. engines
