I definitely think the lipbalm eye looked better from the start, and esp thru til the end. Can't put my finger on it, just looked like full/thicker "younger skin". Thx for experimenting!

Before you put anything on your eyes, the eye (that you ended up putting the lip balm on) looked better than the other eye so naturally the eye with the lip balm looked better. However, I have tried both methods (lip balm and setting spray) and they both looked good. I'm in my sixties.

The whole point of the hack is that as we age our skin gets drier especially the skin under our eyes. I’m 66 and don’t often powder my under eye areas because it can get too cakey. Also I would recommend to stop taking the concealer all the way up to your lower lash line to steer away from all the creases there. Lastly I use it as my final step in my nighttime skin care to really lock in my under eye moisturizer. My under eye areas are looking better and better the more I use it. For that I’m very grateful!

You did such an awesome job! I loved watching your version of this. I thought both sides looked equally great. You're so lucky that you have hardly any lines around the eyes. I'm only 38 years old and my lines are out of control! At least they're created from smiling a lot lol! 😂 I'll take them! Every since I discovered this trick, I've been using it a ton on myself and the results are so much better then before.

Thank you, Gabi! I appreciate you coming by. The lip balm is like a good primer. I was about your age when I started using a full-spectrum sunscreen every day. That alone made a big difference. Then vitamin C serum (after a year of using it) & a BHA were game-changers, too. I can't use retinols or Retin-A - after about 3 weeks my skin rebels. Now I look younger than my younger siblings. 🙂 Even their kids thought I was the younger one.

I'm not sure the hack works as well as raved. Anyway, do you need to wipe extra hard to clean out the grease under your eyes after applying Aquaphor? The undereye is so delicate I'm hesitant to even try this hack.

@gloryb-tv I have the Loreal the gold tube and Loreal pink tube. I forget what they are called as far as length. Also I have Sephora waterproof which helps but I don't like wearing it much since impossible to get off.
