I've got a freshly rebuilt Fabia vrs for my daily and a good example of a ep3 civic, I must say although the civic is a lot more of a car the Fabia is amazing. Great feeling when you break the 220bhp mark few other mods and it really is a decent drivers car. Best cheap daily for sure.
You can't beat the pull of a strong diesel in pretty much any gear. That's coming from a guy that had a Rotrex Supercharged EP3 Type R. 337bhp. The labour free power of the diesel is fun. The 8700rpm redline of 6 gears in the Civic is more rewarding. Yes the diesel was stronger in the mid range. Above 80mph the Civic would pull and pull and pull. The fastest I achieved before deciding I wanted to live was 159mph. Was still pulling with 700rpm to go. Awesome. Oh and it would've decimated the diesel in the bends and under braking.
Yo j u been missing out then these are sick little underated cars and when tuned supprise alot old cars mine made 359bhp before my head was ported n let me tell ya it's a real hand full on full boost very fun n addictive. I owned a rs3 8p few years back before you had yours mate n can honestly say the fabia is faster, obviously u can tune a rs3 faster but u no what I mean plus the rs3 would just run out of petrol while fabia gets to moon n back 😂👌👍
Very nice, I always did like the first generation Fabia vRS, this one is a beautiful example, especially being a limited edition, I’m liking the mods too, they are effective yet subtle❤.
bought one as my 3rd car last year in april @120k bone stock she's now at 135k still bog standard What are the recommended mods to do? I am a student so please nothing too expensive! cheers
Intercooler pipework needs changing as they all leak. Depends where abouts you live for mapping. Bobby Singh Racing knows these engines inside out and is based in London area.
Off to buy my 5th in two weeks I just can’t stay away. Had so many different builds on the mk1 platform, and I ain’t selling this one 🤙, I also spy the arm rest witch is retro fit😏
What size turbo on this yoke? I'm doing a stage 3 build just now on a car that by what I can see not many have done. Stage 3 gtd1252vz looking forward to seeing what it can do. Ur build is amazing work well done. 😊
@Dave Johnson its not only inflation ,cars become much cheaper to produce, but companys are more greedy, before you didnt have car build like now ,same platform, components etc,now doesnt matter if its polo or passat it has the same platform, same mirrors ,same moduls etc
@Dave Johnson sharing one platform to 3 models polo,Ibiza fabia its completely different level than for example MQB on which you can build all cars from whole model range thats the 1st thing, 2nd thing is if you think that on each car they have only small % of profit you dont know anything in fact and last but not least today cars are made from much worst components for much higher price ,despite inflation price of new car today is not to Defend comparing to this 2 decades ago
@Dave Johnson in 2004 you bought fully equipped fabia with most powerfilull engine for 10000dollars (lets say US dollars to make it easier) now for same money you will get base fabia with 1liter tsi engine , equipped it to be substitute of 2004 fabia we just talk ,you have to pay 24k dollars , you think ,you can excuse 14k more to pay for 19years of inflation rate? Where do you live? In fkn venesuela? Fiat tipo on polish market cheapest one in 2017 39990 PLN in 2023 you have to pay twice as much, inflation? I dont think so...
