Fort Monroe, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg--all the places that shaped the world and our nation. Only wish I could have shaken your hand to say thank you for the indelible lessons you teach your kids and share with all of us, and those like me who didn’t have any real childhood growing up. Keep these videos coming, and keep showing your kids the wonderful parts of America that most kids will never learn about.

I enjoyed every bit of the 9 plus hours these last 4 weeks of videos . Reminds me of the few I went on to NY or out west to Colorado with my family when I was a kid..But listening to what u sent to eat and park and everything else ,we wouldn't be able to afford to go on these trips now..Ur a good dad to do what is necessary to be able to take ur family on a trip like this...gotta make those memories while u can ..those kids are growing up fast!!!

I just finished the other reading a old,old National Geographic magazine with picture on the building of that Chesapeke Bay tunnel.Your sharing your view of going thru the tunnel was special.Back in the day it took all day by canoe to cross the bay and travel.Your efforts thru your ongoing narritive,and the risks and costs you incurred to share this expedition with us are truly appreciated Josh and family.This is how America,family,vacations was meant to be.God bless.

Dang Son! You made me wait a month to come to my stomping grounds! I installed and programmed the fire alarm in the little house across the street from Ford’s Theater where Lincoln died. I also have done extensive fire alarm work in the Holocaust Museum. We can only work at night. That place has some bad mojo inside. Super creepy at night…

I'm almost 78 and am NOT ashamed to tell folks I ALWAYS get emotional when I hear our National Anthem. I imagine Francis Scott Key looking out there in the dawns early light following an all night shelling of Fort McHenry and seeing our tattered Flag STILL STANDING. Our ForeFathers and Mothers fought and died for America's Freedoms way back in the 1700's and America's soldiers fight and die for America's Freedoms to this day. GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS all who aren't afraid to cry when we hear America's National Anthem. Those words are magnificent.

Can't imagine having people watch you work everyday, that would be crazy, wouldn't it?? The summer road trip series is one of the best on the channel. So glad for y'all that y'all are able to do these trips with the family. Also, deep gratitude for all the work doing these videos and putting yourselves out there. The trip had some incredible stops,and was really interesting. Always looking forward to the next one and seeing what all y'all are up to.

The personal tragedies that this man experienced is heart breaking. I should have waited to comment until the end of the video because I don't want to diminish the suffering of the Jewish people

I believe you guys missed an important place, that being Arlington National Cemetery. I don't know if you are allowed to video there, I was there when I was a kid and witnessed the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown. It is a powerful and emotional thing to watch, I remember getting the chills as a 10 year old, I didn't truly understand the significance of it until I was older. I truly believe that every citizen should go to Arlington, it is such a sacred and hallowed area you are overwhelmed with all kinds of emotion but there is also a lot of history there. Thank you so much for sharing you vacation with all of us, you didn't need to do that but it was an amazing thing that you shared with us the community. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOSH!!! Josh, I want to thank you and your whole family for sharing your vacation videos with us. I'm 57 and disabled for 5 years and I was planning on doing trips like this. But due to my disability I cannot walk very far. And because of you and your family and the great filming I got to live your experiences. I will probably go back and rewatch them all again. I got to learn a lot. I got to see everything I wanted to see also. And you do a great job narrating it all. You have no idea what it truly means to me. Thank you so much. I know I'm just one person out of thousands of your fans. I would enjoy meeting you just once to thank you in person. I know you have valid trust issues and very protective of your family. But if you're ever planning a trip back through Northwest Ohio, please let me know. You stayed in Lima Ohio on your way up and that was only 14 mi from where I live. My brother and I worked on cars on the side since we were teens. And I watch all your videos. I know I'm rambling on but you guys are awesome. The kids will Never forget the History & family time they spent with you this Summer. Yet, listening to you, the Wonder of the kid in you was Priceless. Every place you have been, i did in the mid 70's. So my trip was with the Twin Towers still there & i actually walked to Statue of Liberty. Smithsonian has changed immeasurably since i was there. Did you notice the scene you all go up the escalators escalators the lady in the background DROPPED her baby flat on the floor? It's the scene before you start looking at the Indian beads and big leather drawings.i felt sorry for the small child,that was crazy when I seen it and disturbing.

You know what would be funny is you guys all jumped on the scale before you started these trips. And then after all the trips jump on the scale and see how much weight you guys lost because this was a abundance of walking that I've ever seen you guys do. And thank you for taking me on your journey to see the declaration of Independence and everything I would never be able to travel and enjoy what you folks have enjoyed I would love to see all what you folks seen even though I seen it with you folks. Our daughter started college in DC eight years ago and lives there still - we still see something new every time we visit, even at the museums we've been to multiple times (nice zoo, too!). Great to see your family make memories!
