I forget where I heard it, I think from Pete at HED he said bouncing an engine off the rev limiter is the worst thing you can do to an engine, I’d have to go back and re watch but he said it destroys parts. Something to check out for sure
That thing that you didn't know what it was was a hot rod.. Looked like a T Roadster that had been channeled over a custom frame and had a boat windshield put on it and they moved the radiator into the back. NMRA.. them and NMCA both just closed the other day.. Freiburger put up a thing about it on Facebook. Wow Kay's pretty... she reminds me of an actress but I can't remember who. That event should've been cancelled the moment they figured out that there was a hurricane coming. "We're gonna have to get a wiper motor and blower motor for this thing.." and how about new windshield gasket, and finish sealing up the edges of the patch under the back seat where you can still see the ground from inside the car if you look at an angle? Pushrod guides and rocker stud girdles would probably be a wise idea.
What a brilliant episode this is , The racing , the rain , The falcon is so so fast , glad everyone got to ride in it on the track ! If I could move to America I would , and buy a Fairmont or a falcon 🤣🤣 god bless ya
Crazy tires I mean sorry Josh caseing blow outs that’s unfortunate surly you need all new tires I mean caseings now sorry we call them tires here In Oregon in the north west and on the west coast
Had a 10 ply trailer tire blow on my box trailer 2 weeks ago which is only 1.5 years old so I put 4 new 14 ply tires on it. I feel much better about road trips now.
Bye you some all new ttrailer casseings your and yours family's life is not worth passing away by the hiway from not spending money on ya'lls family safety, pray 🙏 ✝️
Ooh NO Josh... I think you're going to be down a car in the next couple years I believe you've done hooked Wawa on a feeling I can see her really enjoying the thrill of speed. The best outcome for a Dad is when you can really see the "OH WOW" written on your kids face. Keep doing it write and the kids are going to be living the dream. Great movie with lots of excitement. Hopefully you can save this motor and didn't hurt it too badly. I hope we get to see that episode in the near future.
#1 You have X-ray vision. #2 You guys had the coolest car out there. It was the only classic and coincidentally 1st gen. Falcons are the only ones that are really cool looking My buddy has one his father bought new (three on the tree). Jay Leno's dream car as a child was a Sprint and he had a poster of one in his bed room. As an adult he had a replica poster of one made up. #3 Wa is sooo ready to get behind the wheel - she watches everything you do like a hawk. There's gotta be some kind of Jr. division - go karts with twin McCulloch's? II don't know. But she would rip the daylights out of something for sure.
Great fun as usual, quote of the day goes to Josh “ I know the worst thing you you can do is put in on the rev limiter, but it was slower the other way” 😂 brilliant.
Josh and tosh... I say this with the maximum love.. Your trailer STILL has to abide by geometry...most long haul truckers will tell you,,that the geometry of the rear axles of the towed array MUST be in spec. imagine if you had one side of your steering axle OFF by one degree... Anyways,,, i love your channel, im behind you 100 %.... Check that rear end Boys.... because it still has to track. Much love from British Columbia... Surrey. B.c.
at 2:03:30 you show your feet positions and movement, to help get a faster time, use both feet, 1 on the accelerator and the other foot covering the brake pedal. as you need to slow down don't remove your foot completely from the accelerator but use your other foot to activate the brakes. you want to keep the revs in the 2000 to 3000 range. this method will help reduce the lag time of foot switching and help keep the engine revs high as you come back on the accelerator. as for the best casings for a trailer, definitely light truck tyres. pressure about 36 - 40 psi. get tpms caps to keep an eye on the pressures and temps. sorry wawa, as much as i enjoy your emotional facial range, you have to keep the car original polar white.
Josh this video was the best yet. You didn't let the rain stop ya'll from having fun. So glad Mike the neighbors daughter Kay was able to go with you guys. The looks that Kay, Ralphie, and Wa had on there faces said it all. That falcon was something else and you did a heck of job with your driving. I hope you are able to get her up and running again. Glad you all made there and back soon. I think you'll have to get safe for Ralphies baby turbo charger. He wouldn't that thing out of sight.
HI JOSH I NICE MEET YOU , AND I TELL YOU YOUR 1963 FORD FALCON AND 1964 FORD GALAXIE STATION WAGON NEEDS NEW WIRES HARENES SETUP BRAKE LIGHTS LATE MODEL MUSTANG GT DONORS WIPER MOTOR HEATER BLOWER NO LIGHT COMING OUT AND OLD WIRES HARENES NOT WORKING LOMAS ANDRE PEETE
Josh tell Wa they sell front and rear fenders that are about 2" wider and she could fit Porsche rims in it then. Yeah that'll be just enough grip for the built VW Bus engine or 2100cc engine you could help her get for it. Seeing 👀 how she enjoys this kinda Racing so much in the video you could see how much she loves it in her eyes😊
2:14:40 That was same cobra I had. The guy I sold it to stuffed into a pole at over 100mph. They picked it up with a snow shovel.. Saddest car news I ever got.. Then my cuz ran out and bought one to rub in my face. He still has it till this day. Doesn’t even have 15k miles on it.
Loved all the smiles on the kids' faces. Well done finishing in the top half. If you follow a better line, i think you'll improve your position next time
Loved the auto cross! Too bad it was wet. I've noticed with my '70 Nova, when the roads are wet but it's not raining and in process of drying out, it's actually more slippery. My car is light in the back end and I have more trouble losing traction from a stop light than when the road is wetter while its raining. Might be why you had a harder time and spun out more easily when it quit raining on you. Loved every minute, though.
As long as the tires aren’t old and dry and are properly load rated then the trailer tire issue looks like an axle alignment issue. What a shame the poor EV suckstang broke. There was nothing exciting or enjoyable about watching it perform the burnout.
I felt like a kid watching this at 50yrs of age, i still enjoy getting out there and laying some rubber, great video y'all take care from Tampa, Florida
Colonial at least 12 ply Wrinkle grooved straight tread run cooler that’s my proven opinion on trailer tires we pull 15000 pounds plus 5 days a week 80mph on the interstate definitely something holds at least 110 pounds of air 14 and 16 ply is harder on outer wheel bearings in tight turns stiffer side wall is the reason but anyways love the car it’s super cool congrats thankfull you guys had a fun safe round trip and god bless
