The Spypoint was the very first cell camera I used. I loved it the first year I had it....I had 3 of them and never had a problem with them. I tried to put them out the next year and only 2 of the 3 still worked....and then a couple of weeks later the final one crapped out. I'll never buy Spupoint again. I've used Tactacam since and haven't had any issue for 3 years now. And the Beanie looks awesome!
We’ve had tons of issues with spypoint too outside of the flex, that camera has been lights out just battery life is a touch shorter I’m eager to see if this one performs like the flex
I had good and and experiences with fhe first ones. One year it didn't work in curtain spots then the next year it did work. The service for it sucks. It doesn't seem to pick up signal good. But I still have it. But I bought the tactics reveal for 129 and it works awesome. But I never thought about using video for more Intel. It kills batteries, but I will start to use it more for Intel.
I have a solar panel on all of mine (exodus/blackgate) and run them as dual photo then video you can just learn so much more even if it’s just a 5 second video!
I didnt realize you could get videos sent to the phone i just thought you got a screenshot of the video and you had to pull the card to check the video....is this brand specific....I have 3 tactacams and 1 moultrie edge....seems like tactacam requires me to pull the card to check the videos.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA tried switched the tactacams over and it says the video setting requires me to pull the card.....unless I request a video for a fee $
Although I have no issue admitting when it’s on us or myself the previous issues were not user error it was the cameras failing we had 7-8 total between hawk, moose & myself and only 2 worked correctly The flex has been awesome for me so far I’m curious how this one will work!
I don't have this one i have version 1 of it. Never took clear pictures. Night time they were blurry day time just over saturated and blurry. I have the first version of the flex and it's a great camera.
I biggest gripe is their billing software. Long story short, they got my card cancelled when i was out of town with 2 identical transactions totalling about $250. I was never invoiced, nor recieved the SINGLE data plan i intended to purchase. They never settled on their end. Just some foreigner with a language barrier. Thankfully the bank makes good on my end over fraudulent charges.🎉
