SubhaanAllah I sat in most of the amau junior classes with my 12 year old son who’s in the senior class. I am doing a BA Islamic studies degree online and was praying for a similar style amau class for women and men for my husband. Now this is available. I do intend on completing with my current university as well but I’m thinking I could do amau academy as well as additional knowledge to fill in any gaps as well in Shaa Allah and for lifelong learning ‎‎إن شاء الله‬. As well as learning with the entire family including our other children ameen. The flexibility of this academy allows for students to do their best with the time they have ameen. جزاك اللهُ خيرا‬

Asalamu alaykum wrahmatullah wabarakhatuhu, how would the memorisation work for the other texts that are mentioned in the prospectus? Will we be tested on it weekly by the teachers or is this program just watch videos and take notes and revise yourself?

Asalamu alikum it was mentioned in the pathways, that tajweed will also be part of a pathway. Will we get one-one support with a teacher to be able to recite fluently and with a tune?

I was interested in learning hanbali madhab. Got to know that it will be added in the future Insha Allah. So should I start learning shaf'I madhab or wait for hanbali.? Is it best for a student of knowledge to learn all madhabs or just one is enough ?

Is it okay to not do the fiqh section when you start talking about the shafii madhab, as i do not want to change madhab.

Assalamu alaykum wa rohmatullahi wa barokatuh. Jazakallahu khairon for trying to educate the ummah in such a comfortable and enjoyable way. I have one question/favor to ask. Would it be possible for the AMAU team to put together a video on detailed explanation of how we should “take notes” during the class? I have heard many times from ustadhs about the importance of taking notes, but I am not quite sure how I can maximize the benefit from note-taking. I believe this would be very beneficial for brothers and sister to retain the knowledge gained from the classes if the note-taking process were demonstrated by ustadhs themselves. Wa Allaahu a’lam. May Allaah subhanahu wa ta’ala reward you and preserve you in the straight path.
