He should have the ability to pick up smaller animals that have less weight then him and drop them from high heirs to kill them ofc this takes a lot of stamina

This is honestly my new favorite Dino. Yeah they aren't a fighter. But they (impo) are the first true Scavenger of the game. They can fish or scavenge. Balance wise, not only are they not built to fight (which makes sense) but if they could fight decently they'd really imbalance the game cause they are nearly impossible to catch. Only times I've seen em die is: - Player ran out of Stam (Skill/Awareness issue) - Player was AFK - Player flew into a rock/wall/ground - Player tempted fate while annoying someone with pecks. Definitely a dino for people who just wanna chill, enjoy the sights and sounds. They do need to fix his hitbox though. =/ Cause landing that bite is...oof.... Edit: I think he should get a rock drop or poop attack. Just let us fly over folks and rain down hell. Doesn't have to do alot of damage. But that'd be nice. Drop a rock or poop on a dino then laugh with it's loud call.

Diving down then pulling back up gets you going really fast..there's a specific animation were he levels out with his legs as he's going so fast..most people don't realise this

it would be cool if you could collect leaves, branches etc and built nests, also wish you could land and perch on tree branches with him

I say definitely yes as it is ATM the only flyer, but I don't think I ever touch it after hatzegopterix comes out.

He's great at PvP. Most big dinos there's a sweet spot where you can hover just out of their reach, but still hit them. Takes a lot of skill and patience, but I think it could probably kill most anything if the player is careful and the target doesn't retreat. He's also hands down the best scout, taxi and/or "pecker" as my friends and I like to call any dinosaurs that can prevent someone from resting.

Simply, Hatzegopteryx and Eurhinosaurus are next because there's a pack with Thlassodromeus, Kaiwhekea, and 1 aquatic and 1 flyer blacked out.

They need to add a grab for when a really big dinosaur is way smaller than a smaller one

I’m on Xbox, my “A” button allows you to fly up. If you dive super steep to gain speed then level out and hold “A” he will travel at a slant upwards but still be traveling at top speed, use the height you just gained to repeat the process

I think when you go into a dive into the water and hit a dino it should do some good damage. They are also good in a group to scout because you can see stuff in the water most times.

The stat chart was removed by the developers the reason they gave for doing this is because those stats weren’t official, and were made by the community so many of them were flawed and wrong. I’m hoping since they did this they will add official stats.

I feel that the dive bomb should damage other dinos more than yourself. Cuz it's the complete opposite 🤣

Helpfull tips - - elevating when diving makes you fly really fast - you can perch on trees, just ALT fly onto the top of a tree and you'll land on it's collision box. This allows you to rest safely - diving onto the wings of enemy flyers will cause severe damage while keeping you from damaging yourself. - focus on hunting juvis

For these videos, you should get a player who played it to give their own experience. Whether as just some anecdotes for its uses or discord or something. There are some interesting mechanics that still haven't been found out yet.

I’d definitely keep the standard hide on. Dino might be able to swim but you’ll run into other flyers trying to kill you while flying that swim speed is not going to help you fly away its just going to lower your defense

Noob here. I've seen a lot of people say this isn't a beginner friendly dino and idk how true that is. After playing the free 1 hour preview playing as a different dino I bought the game and this is the first dino I've tried, almost full grown and have had lots of fun. It's nice because if you are patient and observant you are pretty damn safe. Also love being able to scope watering holes for sarcos. Big fan of the flyer. Not sure what to try next

I like to use DYNAMIC SOARING to get around since I chose -stamina +oxygen lol.

Also when questing you don't have to land, you can precise move and hover over items and collect them that way so you don't even have to worry about being attacked you can even hover over carnivores kills and steal meat got to be careful but you can do it

you use less stam when gliding so flap your wings a couple of times and glide for a few seconds and repeat.you will be able to travel farther without having to land and if you don't glide for too long you will go the same speed if you were just constantly flapping your wings.

I enjoy playing him when In a chill out mood fly about watch the battles scavenge the body’s. That’s what he is really a scavenger or scout in a team. It’s nice to just sit back and watch the carnage from a Birds Eye view sometimes.

In pvp he can be used in the same way as you would use things like struthis, camptos and raptors, as a scout. In fact I think he is superoir to those dinos as a scout as he can see much better from the air and like those small dinos he can be used to peck the enemy to keep em in combat to prevent healing while your bigger friends are healing.

When I watch videos I get a apple ad over and over or I GAME FOR FOR YOU over and over it’s a living nightmare

only thing u can kill in pvp is some juvs but not all of them.. and if the lands below u are to active u can also land in tree tops to recover stamina aswel

As a Crypto main on Apex I love to spectate fights so this Dino is perfect for me

I hope Microraptor gets a hollow out hole in trees as a substitute for homecaves. Microraptor was meant to be at home in the trees and glide. Feathers on its legs makes it impossible to walk properly.

This bird can also just float at the top of water and regen Stam

he is good for WayStone someone fast (just fly), also good to observe a area before you want to spawn another Dino there. Is also good if some dinos are one hit just to kill them. And the last thing would be he can troll people and annoy them ^^

I was covering over a trike today while it was trying to hit me 😂 then I laughed at him with the noice the bird makes

Also as a thalasso u can regen by staying at the surface of the water

Also know if you dive bomb while a bite you do pretty good damage

when doing quests, you can hover over quest items with the precise movement, which also makes questing with Thalasso much easier!

AY AY HERE ME AT I really like the dive animation but he could actually be replaced by something better I just finished growing both the new Dino’s lmao

The survivability on him is maxed

New update made them a tad better mostly in swimming and a bit on running on land. I believe the bite does 50 damage but still shouldn’t go head to head with anything lol

Unfortunately that's not the case for mobile version. You have to sprint in order to take off, and it does drastically drain stam even not while sprinting

We need Quality of Life Update. Bugs crawling on the floor of the maps, few dino herds and packs. Previously, there were AI dinos back in 2019.

You can go faster and travel longer distances. If you dive bomb and pull up it gives you a slight speed boost

Also by waiting on top of the water you can regain stam

You can fly much faster by diving down and picking back up like the griffin or snow owl from Ark

It is to me no question! I enjoy seeing everything but don't like my heart going 140 because I'm being chased by something faster then me. Now I just fly!

How the hell do they swim for that long... he's oxygen should be gone in like 10 seconds, he should be diving for fish not micheal phelping the entire ocean

Unfortunately I don't know it's stats but I know is that ehe birds is made out of jelly it does maybe line 20 to 30 damage and has like 150 to 200 hp since it's 1 or 2 shot from almost every dino

IDK what’s going on with the stat chart, But last I checked the flyer has slightly better stats than the Raptors but they all have the same health.

I love this beast but my biggest issue is that i can't fight bc if I sprint flying to get away if the other dino try to bite, and want to attack I always get hit bc the other dino hitbox count as an obstacle like a tree or a rock 🙄

I like his design, his mobility, and his ability to be the best scout for you dino pack -especially if you guys are hunting down something. I hate his impact damage though. Makes it nearly impossible to swoop down and bite anything without taking a lot of damage yourself. For as weak as he is -he should be able to do a bit more damage I think.

I think Thalassos is not just the best way to play this game on the official servers, but the only one. The quest system is too boring and requires too grinding... and to ask a T-rex to gather 25 flowers is LITERALLY the most ridicolous think i've seen in a videogame since... ever, i think. Lets hope for the best in the new year...

I like how people are finding something to complain about the dino that FLYS lol you dont need anymore advantages then that , you know how annoying it is when your on the verge of dying & these bastards are poking at you . This dino fits its stats , anything more would just make this dino OP

It’s a good critter to play if you just like to chill.

Tip for Thalaso players. You can hover in the air with x for pc (don’t know for consoles) and while you are hovering you can pick up quest items and meat and you can collect things while hovering

This thing is way too slow even with gliding/momentum boosts and wind thermals/currents are far too inconsistent to be reliable. The speed glitches were the only thing keeping these things unique and actually useful, otherwise they're far too slow and squishy for anything.

Hold shift and space at same time and aim the camera down and you will fly faster that normal and go high.

You shouldn't be losing ANY stamina while gliding! You should be able to fly all day without landing. Path of Titans should copy Beast of Bermuda as far as flight mechanics go.

This flying dorito is crap. All it can do is bite. It's piss weak, easy to kill. Was very disappointed when I grew mine. Totally not worth.

The flight system is the worst ive ever played with, the whole game is slow and outdated so that doesnt help and the combat with the whole game is pretty bad. Bad stam, slow, dies in one hit to a rex, bad flight system, you lose stam just gliding, gliding makes you drop super fast, bad aerial combat, bad hit reg on bite, laggy and buggy sometimes so you cant get in the air and youll die. Just a bad game in general. Everything feels low quality and poorly made. The calls sucks on every dino, the mechanics suck in general making the game boring and repetitive, combat is trash, you get kosed at least 3 times a day, mods have no power so people are toxic in game and in chat, the animations are getting worse with the new creatures coming out, roars are getting worse as well. Low quality game that doesnt know what it wants to be and just wants to make a ton of money being the only dino game on mobile. They sacrifice mass amounts of quality as in graphics and animations and gameplay just so they can make more money off of people who can only play on mobile . I have no respect for the devs who would sacrifice making a better dino game just to profit off of making low quality crap so people can play on a phone. Everyone can feel how cheap and poorly mzde this game is. Look at evrima and tell me who is the better game studio. They are building it on the best engine and actually trying to push themselves for the best quality they can make. Path of titans is a shitty great value Evrima that you can play on a phone because the devs wanted to make more money not compete to make an actually good dino game to compete with Evrima. Pot is fun for a week or so but as it has no real merit as a fighting, horror, or survival game I dont even know what to call pot because they dont even know what it is. Its just a dino sim with servers that almost all have no rules and kos whoever isnt a part of the gang. Bad game get evrima and youll see what quality actually is.
