He’s been in the league for 9 years bruh. He’s the equivalent of a 31 or 32 year old. In basketball, that’s old, especially with his injury history, and he has had many (plus a meniscus tear). He might have 3-4 years left in him if he’s lucky, and you shouldn’t expect those to be high-level playing years either. Once you begin to suffer from debilitating injuries (I.e., an achey this or strained that) you’re on your way out. And his are all in his lower extremities. Let’s not forget the concussions. NBA players aren’t quarterbacks. Most don’t get to play until they’re 40. They’re lucky if they’re still playing at 36 in anything besides a glorified 12th man role. Even more indicative is that he doesn’t move like he once did. A guy like Dwight Howard still has springs at 32. Alonzo Mourning was still a terror at 32, as were guys like LeBron, KG, Kobe, and others. KAT isn’t that dude. He LOOKS old out there.

He didn’t mean that literally. What he’s saying is that it’s a shame we can’t combine the physical gifts of the young with the skills, savvy, and experience of older players. That’s what he means when he says, “Youth is wasted on the young.” They might do done exhorting things, but they often don’t have the savvy and maturity to exploit the gifts of their youth the way an older person would and replicate their success.

Acho just flat out wrong here, using the Timberwolves accomplishments (winning the first 2 in Denver) against them, which NOBODY had them doing, is just stupid. Wolves were one of the best teams in the league all year and still nobody was giving them their cookies. Wolves were considered frauds all year smh. If he wants to consider the series a failure.. sure. But in no way shape or form is this season a failure. Let's not forget all the hate and backlash this team got by media for the Rudy Gobert trade. "Worst trade in NBA history" right? Wolves clowned those takes with the season they had. Best season in 20 years for this franchise, beat all expectations. We were the losingest franchise in all of sports before this season for crying out loud. Great season for the Timberwolves! Wolves in 7.

If the Nuggets win tonight, it would be a mistake to say that the TWolves season was not a success. Yes, the TWolves won the first two games in Denver. But then DENVER WON the next games. Since they won last year, they've been considered the best team in basketball. And Jokić is now a 3-time MVP. The TWolves winning the first two was the the outlier, not the Nuggets winning the next 3 [4].

I’m not an Acho hater but the balance undeniable when Joy focuses moderating not primary panelist. Joy is a good moderator but so so panelist, so helps her skill utilization when is moderator. Dave brings a journalist skill, stats and can talk positional scheme and draft/trade analysis. Shady and James different personalities but former players to bring personal experience. 🔥

I'm going to comment before I watch this video because there's only one answer: yes. The Wolves have been horrible for 20 years and this is one of the first times we as fans have gotten to watch them battle in the playoffs. This doesn't happen for the Wolves. Ever. And ant is stepping up as a superstar, something we haven't had since KG. When they say no, they're absolutely wrong.

Shady and Acho keep making a big deal about being up 2-0 on the defending champs, when the exact thing literally happened last year. Sacramento was up 2-0 on the Warriors, then GS won the next 3 games straight and eventually won the series. Granted, those 2 first games were in Sacramento, but it's still basically the same scenario, and the Kings are just like Minnesota in that they hadn't accomplished anything in over 20 years.

They key to their success is that can they get naz, naw, or even jaden to average 15 points and 8 rebounds in a series and play mentally tough they should help free up kat and ant to shoot better. Defensively they hopefully can match almost anybody.

The Wolves looked like the 1996 (72-10) Chicago Bulls on defense against the world champions and MVP. The Wolves were simply outstanding. That's it. I could of sworn MJ was wearing #5 when he (Edwards) was LEADING his team. Denver lost because they literally got beat in EVERY department. That wasn't luck or Denver's players having a bad game- the Wolves were the culprit.
