After watching the movie and forgetting the directors name, I googled it and I didn't realize they spelled it "Christof," really made the God of this world's name, Christ-of lol.

This movie is worth watching multiple times just to catch all the little details. For instance, when Marlon is stocking the vending machine, he doesn’t have enough snacks to fill the machine, so while Truman is talking to him he quickly removes some that he already put in and starts stocking them again to prolong the conversation. After Truman starts to break, one of the show controllers is reading the jobs section of a newspaper. The travel agent is still wearing her makeup bib because of how quickly they had to prep her to go to the office due to Truman’s unexpected arrival. During breakfast, Truman is taking a vitamin D supplement because of the lack of real sunlight. When Truman is on the beach, the light from the lighthouse illuminates the moon, which obviously would be impossible if it were the real moon. And there’s SO much more- like the reason all you hear is classical music, is because it’s public domain and therefore a TV show wouldn’t have to pay to use it… and the list just goes on and on.

Laura Linney's acting is so incredible in this. She played the part of a good but not great actress to perfection (as weird as that sounds lol).

I always give props to actors/actresses who can play a believable "I'm acting in this world and it's so believable you forget I'm acting in the actual movie you're watching"

Truman noticed that the wedding ring was on her right hand instead of the left. It was worn on the right hand in order to have a good shot for advertising the ring.

They had to be creative when it came to sponsors, like when the too old guys pushed him in front of the sign for chicken and when his wife showed him the free kitchen tool she got at the grocery store.

There was a lot of films produced in the late 90's which had a gnostic (meaning, 'to know') theme about them. Where the protagonist goes on a journey from ignorance to wisdom by learning that the world they exist in is not everything that it seems to be. The Truman Show is one of these movies. Other examples include Dark City, Existenz, Fight Club, The Game, The Matrix and Vanilla Sky.

Truman,the only True Man on the Truman Show Directed & Created by Christ-off !! . The name of the protagonist and antagonist was well thought out.

The blues clues thing got me I laughed out loud. Yeah I felt the same way. Let this man go and experience unscripted life. Even if he stayed it wouldn't have been the same for him or the viewers.

It took me like 2 ad placements before I realzied what they were doing, but I did notice every-time he had beer, he would always have it out in front of him like when he comes in the door, it's beer first lol

13:26 - this is a rare instance of a shift in POV character. Up to this point, we’ve seen every step of Truman’s journey in discovering the situation he’s in, testing the limits. As soon as the camera moves behind the scenes, the POV shifts to the director. Hence why we don’t follow Truman through his escape from the house or even see what happens to him after he leaves the set.

I wasn't expecting this plot at all, especially from a Jim Carrey movie, he's one of those guys who kinda got type casted, and sure he did have his wacky moments but this was a lot different than I expected.

I feel it's kinda nice having it a bit open ended because I feel everyone has a different idea of how Truman's life went from there. My first question would be... "so if I was the star of this hit show.... that means I had to be getting paid per episode, soooo you owe me about 10,000 episodes worth of money" lol

Eternal Sunshine, was literally on the docket for an upcoming watch. I just know that the critically acclaimed aren't always the most popular when it comes to RU-vid, so I wanted to start with more popular movies and work my way to those award winning movies.
