I’m taking my 2018 250x to the oregan dunes this summer and couldn’t be more excited after watching this . Great video! What gearing are you running? I’ve got a 13t countershaft sprocket on atm but wondering if I’ll just be revving out everywhere and should put a 14t on. Mostly ride tight singletrack. When prepping the bike you you de grease the chains and run them dry so the sand doesn’t turn to paste ? Will have a paddle tire and air filter cover
The bike is all stock still I haven't changed the gearing at all yet! I probably will when the mountains open up! Yes do not lube the chain haha! You might wanna change the gearing but that paddle tire is gonna help a lot I need one! My next video coming out I rode on sandy double track below the dunes and this bike flew like a fire breathing dragon it was an absolute blast!!! You are gonna have a ton of fun!! I love the Oregon dunes! Never ridden there but my buddy got married near by them in Florence and we went to the dunes and messed around!
