"The blame is always shifted back against us." I've never been to Singapore, but as a black man living in Beijing it was honestly a relief to hear those words from someone besides myself.

The mainstream media in USA is too political correct. They hid the bigotry practiced by People of Color and brainwashed the audience to believe only Whites practice racism.

Can we also say that because certain Indian bosses or Filipinos here prefer to hire their own that there is Indian and Filipino privilege here. This term privilege is abused and does not reflect the real situation. All races are provided equal opportunities in Singapore but there will be some from every race who will have a preference or bias for their own kind or on the flip side holds stereotypical views and want their own to be above the rest. Such views and biases cuts across all races including foreigners and expats. And there should be laws in place to mitigate such bias or unfair practices.

Agreed. But certain race population are far higher than certain others. So, if the majority still prefer to stick with their own, then it marginalizes the minority even more so. Its a complicated web to untangle

@darylchan9396
@darylchan9396 2 года назад
@@internetuser5055 actually, it isn't the same thing - though it may lead to a similar outcome of disadvantaging some segments of the population. preference is harder to address compared to privilege. because, preference being a personal choice, is not wrong. this makes it extremely difficult to legislate. the challenge will be to make things fairer for the disadvantaged without infringing on the rights of the majority. affirmative action or "reverse racism" is also wrong and will tear our multiracial society apart. being from a multiracial and religious background, i can personally understand and empathetise with both sides. the majority race, like the minority races, have also given up and compromised alot (in most countries being 75% of the population, usually means u don't need to compromise anything).

Why is English primary language in Singapore even though the ethnic groups are Chinese malay and Indian? Bc of historical English white hegemony and colonialism obviously. Yet how come no one in Singapore today bats an eye or have issue with ever lasting lingering white privilege? That’s a deeper issue and question to ask.
@catphuckers
@catphuckers 2 года назад
I think you're just a paranoid antiwhite. The people of Singapore have chosen of their own free will to embrace English as one of their national languages. Furthermore, English has rightfully earned its place as a great lingua franca both internally within Singapore and internationally across the globe. We did what all people groups with power did throughout history, spread our cultural influence through trade, occupation, and occupation. Don't create a problem where there isn't one because you have an irrational fear of White people and feel inadequate because we have had a lasting impact on the globe and ultimately transformed it for the better.

@@catphuckers lol “we did what all ppl groups with power did throughout history”? Rly? Give me another example of gang bang type colonialism propagated by European white ppl and white americans then. Give me example where another “culture” turned slavery into massive transatlantic type commercial commodity over one race of subjugated ppl aka Africans then. Give me another example where one culture eviscerated the local culture of an three entire continents aka North South America and Australia then. Show me one example where a culture went around world forcing locals to adopt white religion aka Christianity then. If you think reminding the world of historical facts is paranoia against white ppl you are not only delusional and part of the problem that is white gene hegemony/supremacy. And btw I am not “paranoid” but I’m simply doing what white ppl have done which is push my own cultures dominance on the world. Thank you white ppl for showing the world the ONlY way to get on top is through cultural physical political and social dominance! This isn’t stirring up the pot either. The pot has been stirred when white ppl decided to gang bang on other groups and cultures. So deal with history bc causes have effects in real world unless you live in lala land. And as for myself no I certainly do not feel inadequate. On the contrary it is white ppl and the west that are starting to feel inadequate. I’m simply suggesting ppl take back what was theirs and stolen. It’s called equality and justice, something white democracy always champions until it’s their own aggressive behavior that needs to be curbed and reset and their past actions need to be rectified. Too bad can’t always be top dog. And karmas a bytch. One persons downfall is another’s ascension. What goes around comes around. And if you’re still not convinced just book a ticket to Africa and interview the locals there and when they tell you facts and your reply is “ you’re just being paranoid”. See what they say and do lol

@@catphuckers both china and japan have done fine using their own languages in their respective countries for business and pleasure. as far as im aware the ONLY non-white countries that use a WHITE language to do business within the country are ex-colonies. its sad to see the residual effects of colonialism and white hegemony so deeply entrenched that descendents of formerly colonized ppl would defend their white overlords. and that is fine if YOUR ppl did what any group would do. well guess what? karma's a bytch and now its someone elses turn. not everyone agrees with you on the present status quo. life is competition and often zero sum. why should i just sit back and let YOUR ppl take anything from MY ppl? as far a i am concerned, we can just do what all of our ancestors have done since beginning of human civiization - fight for land and what we want. after all, this is what you are okay with right? just do what ppl have always done, right? and "lasting impact"? are you smoking crack? colonialism is only few centuries old. YOUR time is over. too bad your life span doesnt span centuries bc otherwise you would witness the downfall of YOUR ppl once again, as nature intended. stay in that little part of the world known as europe and go back to eating potatoes. How convienent you left out spreading YOUR culture through shoving it down ppls throat by colonialism, aggressive christianity and imperialism. i am not paranid or insecure, im simply being what nature intended us all to be - self interested, just like you.

@@catphuckers Wow, You say you people have the power to influence cultures and trade and telling people off for "creating" problem like having irrational anti-white fear as end of the day you people transformed everything for the better? - Spoken like a true White Supremacists.
