Andy literally was in the water at one point. Forget going anywhere near the water with a wheeled ZTR. Never run an Altoz before but from what I heard, the tracks give you tremendous traction as well as flotation. Similar to that of a tracked skid steer. Awesome video, Stan. Loved the daring action!
@@jeremynguyen2346 for manicured lawns? Out probably isn't the best choice, even with the straight blade attachment. The do have a side discharge deck available that would make it better for manicured lawns, however, the track system would require a user with skills and patience to avoid tearing up the turf. Altoz makes a wheeled ZTR that is better suited for manicured properties and it is certainly less expensive If you'd be using the TSX for a dual purpose, then, yes, you could use it on a manicured lawns as well as in overgrowth to avoid the purchase of two machines
The Altoz Snow Blower would be a game changer. Something with a knob that the operator could easily control the direction the snow was blown off to. And lots of lights so it could clear commercial walkways at night. Then roll up on to the trailer when the job is done and back to the barn or shop or shipping container for dry supper dupper double secure storage. Safe from those malfeasants. ;-)~
I’d imagine the zero turn plow idea like that guy made for his Bad Boy would work even better on one of those! I’ve never heard of Altoz so thanks for demo!
Sweet to finally see one of these moving. I always see them at the state fair and other shows but never heard of anyone with one or even videos of people using them.
Delivered a nice even cut, has the super tight turning ability ru-vid.comUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend I was looking for, and is just a blast to drive. It takes a little bit to get used to driving one after driving a normal tractor style, but once you've got it, you've got it. If you're cutting lines, you have to be careful spinning the mower around or the back tire will dig a bare spot. Just take it nice and slow during the turn and then it's back to full throttle across the yard!
My brother has one of these mowers. His is two years old. There have been a few issues. They updated the track guides as he was throwing tracks when mowing his road ditch. That seemed to stop that issue. He now has an electrical issue dealing with the mower deck clutch. He says it is like all other equipment in that it has pros and cons.
Once they have the finish cut deck I will strongly look at one to be able to keep tall thick grass on land up north down and be able to use at home for finish cutting. Beats two machines any day and don’t need to worry about soft ground in the woods. 👍
Dude! You NEED one of those! Could you imagine the money you could make doing overgrown yards. You could use these machines on your commercial property, by those lakes, without fear of losing a mower in the lake. Plus, look at the fun you would have!
I've been waiting for this video for years I have a altoz dealer near me so I get to see the cool mowers but have never been able too see them in action I now know what mower I'm buying next. Great video Stan 😁
That’s the most impressive mower I’ve ever seen, any other mower would have needed to be pulled out of the lake or not even be able to get to the water’s edge then many hours of weed whacking to achieve a similar finish. I have 10 acre’s of land and it would be perfect!
So great to see andy leaning off the side showing us what it can really do ! It seemed condition wise way to wet to mow yet the cut looked amazing for a swamp
Wow. They should thank you for the sales your video should generate. That was some impressive video. I will absolutely look into one of those mowers when I need to replace my current mower used to mow my 80 acres.
I was using a Cat 966D loader moving gravel to a area that needed to be built up. It was probably my 12th time across this preticular spot when it all of sudden seemed to sink. I opened the cab door and walked straight out onto the level ground towards the ditch. That was when I realized I hit quick sand or a massive sink hole. I ran across the street to a neighboring construction site that had just as big equipment and got a dozer operator and excavator operator to help dig and pull this loader out. It took a D9 Cat and a Cat 345 excavator to pull that 966 out. Then it took 22 loads, of rip rap 16 loads of 5 inch, then 10 loads of 2 inch then 8 loads of ABC. The Boss was estaic that we saved the 966 but he couldn't believe that the core drilling company missed such a large hole. A couple of times we almost lost a couple of dump trucks in the hole while we filled it.
in NJ before Christmas, i would say that it would be pretty cool of it snowed on Christmas, i didn’t think I’ve ever experienced a white Christmas before, for dinner tonight i had leftover meatloaf. It as so good. And today in culinary wee are just about ready to finish cooking all the cookies for the school, it truly has been a momentous task and we have risen to the challenge and we are so close to overcoming it. It will b nice. Infact think their is 12 days left until Christmas. Oh and did you see Spencer’s video yesterday, that’s as such an a amazing thing he and his wife and alll the partners were able to get together for helping get presents under the trees of the less fortunate and also getting to me some really nice people, and be Abel to give some good advice all while keeping it festive and fun. That’s what make me so proud to be an a. American, to help other without getting anything in return, that’s how i felt, and it brought tears to my eyes knowing so may good people did a great thing, well stan, i hop I didn’t get to soft on ya, have a great night, god bless and go get em, your pal and friend, Alexander costa
Haven't you had snow yet? We got 21" inches a few days ago. Went out plowing for 24 hours non stop. Fun but tiring night. I can't believe how fast Christmas is heading our way. Won't be much longer until its here.
I was expecting to see Andy go swimming there for a bit , when he dropped the tracks off into the water. And man it did look cold. Looked like you all had fun there that day. Good video and very good looking machine.
You showed a glimpse of this earlier. Glad you put out the whole thing. I subscribed and liking just about every video as I got hooked two months ago. BEST RU-vid channel hands down and you have a phenomenal crew as well. Our crew makes us shine. Keep um coming Stan! Eddie- reliable snow removal LLC
I've been in the closet for to long never heard of this machine and didn't know that track mowers was even a thing awesome content Stan keep up the awesome job. God bless and as always be safe 👍
@Stanley "Dirt Monkey" Genadek I was waiting to see this video before tipping my hand to high growth cutter style. I prefer flail mower type, have you ever done a video on the Ferris? I'm going to be finishing up my own hydro walk behind, flail mower out of crap laying around. 2 passes on 3-4ft growth leaves it almost perfect, and mulches down to nothing. Glass bottles get smashed. Plastic bottles come out in thin strips 3-4 inches long
Great video about tracked mowers. I wanna see a four wheel drive with 4 tracks all driving like regular vehicle but with diff lock for the tough spots. That is my ultimate mower.
@@Dirtmonkey tracks are definitely better and keep mower safer on hilly terrain . This kinda track system should have 2/4 wheel drive options. Sounds way out there but I am sure someone can do it.
@@jamesmorgan6782 sounds like an idea... but the Ventracs are amazing and go pretty much anywhere with the 8 wheels, I think the 8 tire setup up has just as much flotation and footprint as tracks but make the base of machine way wider and more stable on steep slopes
Great machines Stan, Buy me one and ship it to ND LOL ask Andy if you can add a snow plow to it for pushing snow to. Although I loved to demo, Great video love how it mows in water. Thanks again for the demo
"If you need a rope at that point" He knows your style Stan :) They look like pro quality machines .. If I had the money .. the stand up one for sure .
I looked at these last year. Great machine, but limited too just mowing. Bought a Ventrac instead with tough cut and fine cut attachments. Works great for doing around lakes and ponds. Plus it does so many other tasks besides mowing.
Stanley, just seen your video. It was nice to see the track system, but that's not what I want to compliment. Your video was really good. Had some really nice shots and smooth music, thank you for putting so much time in making it. Believe it or not watching your vid was relaxing. Great job.
Thank you for the vid love it Man I just got lost in all the things I was doing, finally got around to watching it !! To day I was finishing up a hardscaping job (Rock walkway) I also assembled a Dr chipper The thing is insane!!
@@Dirtmonkey I love it It is the pro 400 It’s my grandparents and she really likes it. It gets the job done really well and grind up the wood into extremely small chunks
It would be nice to see the finished "product".. one mans 6 inch heighth isanother mans 12 inches. Plus, do these really cut and chop, or does it whack, crimp, and bend it over? It would be interesting to see the mower go through the grass first, see what the deck knocks over, without the blades turning, then start them spinning again. Plus, I'd like to see the PTO switch response times when cutting (on/off/stop)
If I was the marketing director, you would be going home with the trailer and both units. Start an annual raffle promotion during fall harvest events. Send in new models every year. Set this year's price on the raffle value. Use raffle proceeds 50% more units to give away and 50% in community donations. Have fun guys. Hell of a product.
Add demos on jobs and you will get free operators. Also offer 30 min demos remote by client. Charge 0$150.00 / hr. 2 hour minimum. Would be a great annual service business to sell off. Split rentals 1/3 Business, equipment payment, labor fuel. You will have a hell of a draw on each jobsite. Get realtor post with water tight area for brochures with before and after photos with ads. Plant free ads every where you can.
I'll admit that I clenched up tight when y'all were on the lake's edge. Even given Andy knew the terrain, the performance on that mushy ground is impressive.
Stanley you always get right down to it you have had some of the coolest mowers and equipment on this channel it ain't even funny and you always give honest reviews and that ventrac that's one hell of a mower and everything else it does big price tag but it is one badass machine I remember you guys reviewing it one time in the winter have a great one brother you have the best videos ever man 💯 God bless you guys and take care bro 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌍😎👊🏽💨💨💥🤙🏽🤙🏽❤️💪🏾💪🏾
