I camp up at elbow pond by Jackman brook I wouldn't mind finding some garnett. I live in Franklin the town where the pemi and the winni meet and turn in to the Merrimack . Thanks for all the awesome videos . Ever since I found your channel 3 days ago I've been binge watching your videos when I'm not at work .

Thank you for watching. We stay at Elbow pond too. You'll see in our videos. Jackman brook probably has more gold upstream before it enters the bog near elbow pond. I didn't realize when we made this episode that Jackman flowed through a bog. If I knew I wouldn't have bothered or tried upstream from the bog.

Also, I ran a canoe down the Winni river years ago. It was a rough run. Lots of rapids. We had one mishap with one canoe that almost turned out real bad but luckily we dragged them out of the water in time. It was quite the trip.

@@hipbeeexplorer we use to tube that river when I was young and I'm surprised no one ever got hurt. They are building a white water park on winni River in Franklin . So far they have made some nice improvements I've been counting down the days until the last weekend of this month so I can go up to elbow pond and go camping. My girlfriend is ready to go try to pan for gold .Thank you for your reply.

I don’t think there is any gold in Jackman Brook. It comes out of a lake less than a mile away. If I get gold I’ll dig deeper but if after 3 pans and I don’t even get a speck then I think it’s time to move and digging deeper would just be wasting time but you never know. I was very tired that day. It was after 5 straight days of prospecting and panning. Thanks for watching and commenting Chris. Peace.
