I hope the people in the series and the comments can be mindful of each other. Be rational and back up the claims they make. What makes people mad or frustrated is someone making claims, holding them to be true, confronting others about it but ultimately not be able to somehow back up what they say is true. Good luck Dempsey, thank you for letting people be heard.

There's no denying the atheists and agnostics are the more rational ones when it comes to this question. "I don't know" seems to be the only honest answer, but "no, because there's no reason to believe anything supernatural exists" is also a pretty solid answer. Any "yes" answer relies entirely on faith and wishful thinking. Not that there's anything wrong with that necessarily, but they're not the most reasonable ways of deciding weather or not something exists. "My prayer was answered", "I feel like he exists", "believing in him makes me feel good"... these things just aren't evidence. It's like saying bigfoot must be real because believing in it feels good.
