I really hope you’re only saying this for the sake of the title. Because so far, all of the teasers have been making this the season to break the season 3 curse. I hope it lives up to those expectations.

Fortnite is really fun, it has been every season. We let the little simple things ruin it for us. Looking at the bigger picture though, Fortnite is a very fun game! I think it will be very fun next season, some of the updates may be lackluster but in the end, we can't let that ruin it for us.

Even if this season winds up being bad, it’s a post apocalypse season, which I have been wanting for years, so i will always appreciate it

Exactly bro, my experience with the Greek season was absolute peak for me. When I heard people didn’t like it, I was gobsmacked. It’s only when the season starts to get to the end and get boring, not like that’s not happened before

the problem is most players dont realise the amount of time and effort it takes the devs to make a season, and yet people get so mad when there arent giant weekly updates. I personally feel fortnite seasons are just fun the whole season even if there werent updates. Grinding the battlepass is fun for me and checking the item shop too.

One trend that I can already tell you this season is breaking is the trend of BP collabs not matching the theme. Up until now they've been loosely similar at best. This is the first time outside of CH2S7 where they actually found a perfect match.

It’s all dependent on the summer event… the beginning looks like it’s gonna be great but if the summer event is anything like last year, it’ll ruin it

One of your points reminded about the mini-event, harking back to that, one of my friends during the event was overly negative, even whiles we were in the lobby, it almost ruined the Event for me but, i decided to come back to it and rewatch it later, although he didn't enjoy, i found a new appreciation for it on my second viewing and actually enjoyed it.

I need next season story quests to have mutiple actors. Only having one is a sins, and shows the higher up hate the story

That’s what I’ve been doing for a long time leaving Fortnite and coming back to it and he’s kind of right. I do get a bit better but it’s just because I don’t like playing Fortnite all the time it gets boring

At the beginning of the season my expectations for this season were to see other greek gods and mythical creatures as skins released in the item shop, Maybe mythical creatures as animals and bosses, maybe another greek themed poi being released mid season or map change, Greater representation for the greek gods in the battle pass than what we got (Why is zeus in camo pants with grenades on his hip) and a god like style for the skins (For example giving zeus a robe with the flower crown). Overall greater representation for the greek theme that was given for this season. Instead we got the avatar as a mid season update and nothing else game changing which is why in my eyes this season was a L.

Yup this season is pure garbage idk what epic thinks when they add stulid over powered stuff but the trucks in the new season are ruining the game and fast

I agree with Klarque on everything. Taking time out of the game is crucial to really appreciate every moment with friends and familiy. Being playing Predecessor lately, but i do go to Fortnite and play couple of rounds. Hope season 3 will be fun and interesting.

I loved the season and we had fun most of the time but matchmaking is ruining it for us. Last week during our weekly Fortnite Night we were crushed 13 matches in a row for people out our league (I really checked in the last one). It was frustrating as we only wanted to have some fun and complete some quests to help my duo finishing the battle pass, I still have that sour taste and it is something happening for seasons.

personally for me, the most fun that i ever had with fortnite was when i created my own fun experiences through creative and battle labs. its my way of enjoying fortnites in a more simple and fun way. but thanks to epic getting rid of the island option from creative and not allowing anyone to create the fortnite island in uefn, i cant acheave that simple pleasure anymore. if they could just simpilly bring back battle labs as a gamemode, i could have that simple pleasure that really allows me to enjoy the game how i want to enjoy it.

For the longest time the season I started playing (CH2S4) was the most fun I have had in the game. That is no longer the case. I enjoyed this season but what was my absolute favourite time in Fortnite was the Avatar collab. Bending is one of my favourite powers/magic systems and I have always wanted to play a game that did it justice. I REFUSED to even pick up a weapon and I dropped all my mats and went full Avatar. I was doing my own challenges and wanted to do a pacifist run with Aang but life hit me hard in the last week of the collab.

I don’t think it’s gonna be at the same level as C2 S7 but I think it’ll be decent

We get a mad max style vehicle gameplay season, I intend to enjoy that.

this season 3 curse makes no sense to me. idk why but season 3 has always been pretty fun to me. the whole summer appeal and everything. vibin has been fun to me.

Season 3 looks pretty decent from the trailers - I know I'm going to get burnt out but honestly it doesn't mean that the game is bad. We just need to realise that playing the same game over and over again will get boring after a few weeks

the new season will be a fresh breath of air. Whether we inevitably get tired of it or not, you are only a few months from a new season at any time so it will be fine. Waterbending and chains gone will instantly make it less annoying. Dying to people way less skilled at the game has become common with these low skill weapons in the loot pool.

I agree, sometimes I don't like something (not much). Maybe because a wepon destroys me all the time, maybe a map change, gameplay or more. But I am a person who thinks Fortnite is always cool and I think about the positives. But sometimes like this season, I left because it was boring, but then I came bac, I was feeling much better, like how Klarque said in the video. But I do feel like Fortnite is an add at the start/ middle of the season. I also think Fortnite is listening to the community now and focusing on BR. We might have leaks for the other modes but there seams to be a lot of content being put into BR. I don't know what you think, but i'm just a child who is putting his opinions out there. I do not have any nostalgia to Og seasons even though I played starting 2017 but I didn’t really play until last year. So this chapter has been amazing and I think it will be better next season.

I have a challenge for myself to have fun , enjoy the game with friends and get level 200 before I’m on vacation to get the full pass🙂

The season has a chance to be good. Really, it just depends on if theres actual updates. This current season was too dry to be good.

This game is toast. The further we get from Mustard, the more corporate and formulaic this game gets. Any big events in this game will have to be shared with Lego and the other modes. Maybe this will be the best season of a totally dead chapter, but excuse me if I don't get my hopes up before we actually see for ourselves. I haven't been hyped for Fortnite since Chapter 3.

I feel as if this has potential to be a top 3 if not top 2 season if executed properly with good weapon mods, new weapon mods, balanced loot pool, good battle pass, and lastly a good map I feel like if we get something somewhat similar to season 7 chapter 1 but more detailed and only half the map this could be the best season especially with the pirates collab they could add a pirates poi this season maybe at the start or midway thru and truely make this a season 5 map with season 7 execution with a season 8 theme from chapter 1

Honestly, I LOVE Greek mythology.. but I found myself just…not playing after a certain time frame. Arround the start of the avatar collab, left. Ruined my feel for the season…however. This season. Though if goes well. I’ll love it, as I myself love Fallout.

this new season has the potential to be one of the best and one of the worst. coming off of myths and mortals which was a good season but it couldve been a lot more, I hope they learned their mistakes with season 2 and tried to improve upon what they did wrong (example: they could have tried with the story a little more or made the lootpool have more god abilities but actually balanced them). the problem that could make it bad is if the story SOMEHOW gets worse and the lootpool is just some "cool guns", and honestly they dont even need to do bosses unless its important characters.

Hope? Nah. It's called hype. Something to hold into before it fades, not something that actually gives a better long lasting chance at a better season for the game.

Well, The Storyline and Characters will have absolutely No Depth and will end up getting Completely forgotten when the Season Ends, But the Gameplay and New Features will be Amazing I think.

Fortnite has been the sole game I have played for the last 3.5 years, and I just recently downloaded Warframe, and it is genuinely some of the most fun I have had playing games in a long time, to anyone seeing this comment, no matter how long you have played a game, it is never locks you out of trying new games, and this doesn’t just apply to Fortnite.

Bro I can’t be asked with this major analysis. People will just always complain. They complained then and they continue to complain now. Fortnite is at the best it’s been in a while right now. People need to enjoy the actual game more than all the random other stuff that Epic might get wrong. All this speculation and stuff is just a distraction. Play the game for a bit, and make your own opinions. After all, it’s just a video game and I think every season of this game has still been really fun.

I believe that there should be some Hope for chapter 5 season 3 let’s hope Epic games fixes there mistakes from last season because that season was the worst the theme was Greek mythology and what Korra from avatar Star Wars it just didn’t feel like it was the right theme so I hope this time epic games sticks with the theme and doesn’t deviate of course

After this season I would the game has really began to fall off with so many better games to play right now there’s just no reason to play Fortnite
